Really happy with our time at theatre train in Loughton, Jack is fantastic and it's such a lovely atmosphere with a caring team who are fantastic at singing, dancing and acting. My daughter has loved making new friends outside of school and learning new skills

My daughter is 3 and finds new situations and meeting new people difficult. Initially there was tears and reluctance but Jack and his team were patient and understanding. My daughter grew in confidence and would bounce out of bed every Saturday morning because she loved the class. All week she would ask when her drama was on and would always come out the class with a beaming smile telling me of all the fun games she played.
Special mention to Nieve the drama instructor who was so kind and caring!
I would thoroughly recommend this class to any parent.

My daughter has been attending Maldon Theatre Train since she was 4, and now at 10, it’s still the highlight of her week. The supportive, creative environment has helped her grow in confidence, make lasting friendships, and truly shine. Thanks to the skills and self-belief she’s gained, she’s had multiple casting call-backs, worked confidently as a supporting artist on a TV set, and even auditioned for a major talent agency. We’re so grateful for the opportunities and encouragement she’s received—Maldon Theatre Train has been a fantastic part of her journey.

My daughter has been going to TT now for a year and she has changed so so much. Her confidence shines through and the only regret I have is not enrolling her sooner. Honestly every Saturday she can’t wait to go to theatre train and she is so excited to tell us about it after she finishes. Mark, Laura and the rest of the time are absolutely fantastic and they all work so so hard. Thank you so much to all of you. Your all outstanding x

If you’re looking for a fun, creative and exciting activity for your child then Theatretrain is it! My daughter has been going to their workshops for some time now and she loves it. The team are fun, caring and energetic, they show encouragement and an obvious confidence in each performer. The run school holiday work shops too which are full of fun also!

Both my 9 and 12 year old daughters joined Theatretrain in January 2025. From their first session they have felt welcomed and excited to return. Their confidence has increased, they’ve made like minded friends. Their passion for dance, acting and singing grows every time they attend. They cannot get enough - attending every Saturday and even during the holidays for holiday club!
It is a well organised, professional but so so friendly and accommodating company. We love Bianca, George, Katie and the team! My 3 year old is counting the days down until she turns 4 and can join the minis. She’s even learnt their theatre train song in preparation!

My daughter has not been a regular attendee of Theatretrain, but attended the Threatretrain Torbay summer school for the opportunity to be in Legally Blonde Junior. I was a little worried the regular attendees might be a bit cliquey, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. My daughter and her friend have been made welcome and included, and had an absolute blast all week. A couple of days on from the amazing performances she is exhausted and having major withdrawal symptoms but so happy that she did it. The girls are already planning a show reunion and my daughter definitely wants to attend regularly from September. Would definitely recommend!

My son started to attend TheatreTrain Prestatyn earlier this year and loves it. He has really taken to the class, has made new friends and enjoys all aspects of singing, acting and dancing. I’m thankful he is full of confidence but these classes have excelled this.
They offered a week of Summer School, which he attended every day and enjoyed learning new songs and routines. Thank you very much!

A decade of fun, of laughter and pride
Of make up and costumes, with Theatretrain by her side.
At the Artrix she started, so small and so new
But year after year, her confidence grew.
Through acting and singing and every dance, she gave her all and you gave her the chance.
Her proudest moment, the biggest of all - a leading role at the Royal Albert Hall.
A dream come true, a shining light, she took to that stage, with all her might.
To Melanie, her ultimate guide through thick and thin, you gave her something to belive in. We send you love, for all that you gave, the time, the support, the courage to be brave. You saw in J all she could be and have helped her become it, brilliantly!
Forever grateful, proud and true. Theatretrain Bromsgrove....THANK YOU!!! 🎭🤩🥰

My eldest started a year ago as she would like to pursue a career in acting. She was very shy and ended up taking her sister along for moral support. Both of my girls absolutely love theatretrain! They have so much fun and have come so far with their confidence and have been able to have the opportunity to take part in a show at the royal Albert hall this September too. All of the staff are incredible there and everyone are so welcoming. I’d recommend them to anyone who loves Dancing, singing and performing arts. They’ve had the best year.

Am genuinely in awe of what Theatretrain Friday achieve. Their performance of Fame Jr June 25 was amazing. From the youngest junior to the oldest senior they made you believe they were high school teenagers. Their delivery, mannerisms, singing and lines were amazing with little touches that made it really special to watch as a parent.
The staff put their heart and soul into this and it looked so professional. The staff genuinely care about the individual adding bits to roles to give a child a chance to show what they can do.
My son has been with Theatretrain Chester Mold Wrexham and Prestatyn for 2 years, he’s learnt so much, made lovely friends, they all work so well together.
Thank You Steve Rob and Carl for your amazing effort Fridays at Chester ❤️

Maldon Theatre Train is Epic!
Our daughter joined early this year after not really excelling in her current dance school and we have noticed such a transformation in her already. Her confidence has grown, the way she expresses herself and her characteristics have excelled and her passion for the love of music, dancing, acting and singing has grown even more too. We’re delighted!
Mark the Director is so passionate about his school and it is so refreshing to see. He knows every child’s name as they walk in, he is so bubbly and vibrant and makes every child in his school feel like they are worth something. He is one in a million!
If your child has an interest in singing, dancing and acting Maldon Theatre Train should be at the top of your list!

My daughter has tried 2 other theater groups in the past and for one reason or another it just wasnt quite enough , since starting theatertrain maldon 2 years ago she has been very happy and we havent looked back , the staff are all lovely and the children get to be in shows in a theater for over an hour , getting our moneys worth compaired to the other companies we have tried for the same price. I can see our daughter coming to Theatertrain for years to come . Her confidence has improved also and even with a small part in a show she shows such enthusiasm and joy . I highley recomend TheaterTrain maldon to anyone who’s looking for a good theater company for their child or teenager .

Mark is such a kind and committed leader for this group, and he’s backed a wonderful team who all believe in every child’s ability to shine. The result is a group of children who perform together beautifully and, even better, support and respect each other. This was evident in last year’s performance of Matilda, and only seems to have improved since with this weekend’s performance of Shrek. Thank you - and very well done indeed!
