Spoke on the phone but my chosen battery was not in stock. The lady I spoke to offered to speak to the manufacturer and rang me back promptly to say that it would be available in a few days but they had a similar battery on the shelf which had more power and was slightly less expensive. When I went to collect this battery it was near the counter waiting for me with a certificate showing it had been tested. Tremendous service from the two staff members that I spoke with and a really competitive price. Good to see excellent local service. Many thanks.

Excellent service. Requested battery was out of stock resulting in a lovely, knowledgeable, lady from the store phoning me. They sourced the battery which was delivered within days.

I needed to buy some battery terminals connectors/converters and spoke to a very helpful and friendly young lady ( Veronica ) who
went out of her way to help me which Ivery much appreciated.Would highly recommend this company. She deserves a pay rise or holiday in the sun.
I've worked in customer services for over 38 years so I know that people that give an excellent service rarely gets the appreciation they Deserve. Well Done Veronica.

Just been into see this business as recommened by a friend, as I have just bought a Camper and needed some advice on a leisure battery.
It was refreshing to speak to people who know what they are talking about, not only that but so helpful. As I had lots of questions which they talked me through my options.
I haved placed and order and know where I will be going for anything like this in the future and also who I would recommend too.

Ordered from here a couple of times, surprised by the mixed reviews. We use 12v batteries for environmental equipment, always order Yuasa and they're always brand new at a good price. Ordered standard delivery on Wednesday afternoon, arrived Friday. Great service!

They advertise battery recycling but when you get there they say they can’t recycle Lithium batteries because of the fire risk! Totally misleading website and unhelpful staff. Suggested we try Curry’s!

We ordered a battery over a month ago. we have sent emails and had no response form the company, I think a customer service training might help these to meet to demand form the public, at least they would know to reply to emails. Hopefully after reading other peoples comments there is still hope that the battery will arrive and we haven't been contacted by this company. I belong to several motorbike groups and will certainly be advising them not to use this company if they require a battery in a hurry. They say word of mouth is the best advertisement as its free and most companies would welcome positive feed back as this can make the company grow a lot faster than any other form of adverts.
I will definitly not be using these again.

BEWARE - They also trade as the Tech Shed on sites such as OnBuy. They advertise branded batteries but only send cheap generic ones if you order them. Also they do not fulfill orders and completely ignore emails when you query where you missing items are.

After sales service is non existent, leave this company well alone for your own sanity.

I have already waited 10 days for my battery - Standard shipping with Royal Mail, even from N. Ireland should take no more than 3-5 days - I have been waiting double that! And have been unable to use my phone in that time!
Their response - "please be patient it should be with you in the next few days."!
Next time I'll go elsewhere!

Update - received the battery today with postmark sent yesterday! And after all that it is clearly NOT A NEW Battery!!!

I live in London, not Ireland! I have double checked my receipt. It was definitely from this shop.

Despite some poor reviews for this company, I had a very good experience with them. I ordered replacement batteries on behalf of my elderly parents for their stairlift at the beginning of May, was contacted by phone by a very helpful member of staff to confirm a slight change to my order (batteries were going to be supplied by a different manufacturer to the one mentioned on the website but were of exactly the same specification) and they were sent out and received within one day. We've not had any trouble with the quality of the batteries to date and therefore I am very satisfied with the service received.

Ordered a phone battery but it doesn’t charge. Have sent them three emails and a text but no reply. The battery was only £5.00 but still a response would have been nice!

Ohhh dear oh dear, the sooner they go out of business the better for everyone. £750 gone from my account on the 6th April and I rang today 12th April asking where are they? ‘’Not yet sent as it’s a pallet’’, yes I know I paid you £69 for it, ‘’you need to sign for pallet’’. Please cancel say I, money sent back today say they, 7pm at night no money sent back.
Re ordered with TAYNA batteries, paid and despatched in two hours. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

I bought a battery which now needs replacing after 18 months. Their warranty is not worth the paper it is written on. I can't return the battery as I cant be without the car. I have had the battery tested using approved equipment by my local garage. I have sent the Battery Shop a photo of the findings but they say this is not good enough. I have during the last few months charged the battery but it is obviously faulty. Their long warranty is a con to persuade you to buy from them. Apparently you need to read their terms and conditions which are printed very small on their website.
Yuasu who manufacture the battery were not impressed when I told them what the battery shop do.
I am now going through the suggested process on the Govt website to complain about a company. I wait and see what will happen.

So far I have not had a reply to my email.

I would advise paying a bit more and not being persuaded by their low prices.

I also wish I had read the other reviews on Trust Pilot before buying from them.

Battery never arrived, company haven't responded to any emails requesting delivery information or refund request. No customer service. Further action is being taken.

I ordered 3 emergency light Ni-Cd batteries from them which came quickly but too big to fit into lights.
Web site states returns only accepted with authorisation on thier form. Tried e-mailing only to get bounce backs. Phoned, put off as no-one in that day to authorise they will phone me next day. No phone call from them so called them to be told the web site states these batteries are specially made and cannot be returned. argued the point but then went and perused the web site again. No mention of non returnable items. Phoned again and was told on this occasion I could return and get a refund. I have retured and got a refund on initial price and return postage via Paypal. So overall OK for me but poor customer service overall.

Ordered a battery Monday evening and it arrived first thing Wednesday morning. Happy with everything so far!

I purchased a YBX3017 Yuasa SMF Car Battery 12V 90Ah 5 year warranty from battery shop after 14 months kept going flat garage said it was done checked alternator was fine rang them they said pay £30 to check it so paid money said would be refunded if faulty sent back tested said it was not manufacturer fault said it was overcharged and they said would give me 5% discount on new one and send my old battery back to me.so basically back where i started after 2 weeks and another £30 down told them just to send me battery back and i will order from another shop not even bothered said ok never use again robbers.

Purchased a new Yuasa battery from them with a 5 year guarantee. Still experienced problems with the car not starting even after a long journey. Thought it can't be the battery as it was new so eventually (Once I had managed to find a garage during COVID times) had the car checked out only to be told that there was no problem with the car it was a dud battery. Not satisfied with this I took the battery to a Battery seller and they tested it. Same result battery was a dud. Customer services quite rude. Said I had to send battery back to them at my expence by DPD. Said they would send me an email explaining how to do this. I have received nothing from them and now can't get through to them on the phone and they haven't replied to email requests. So left with a dud battery and no sign of a refund, had to apy out to have the car checked over when it was clearly the battery at fault all along.. Currently waiting to be connected to citizens advice. Companies like this should not be in business. Dreadful customer service.
