PURE FRAUD, YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED !

I bought a pair of shoes through Shoe Boutique and never received them due to an error in my address. I'm still waiting for my refund after 2 months. Customer service always gives me different excuses. They say they’re going to refund me, and a few weeks later they say I have to go through Shoe Boutique for a refund. It's the same BS over and over. What a joke. Now they just don’t answer to my emails anymore. This is pure fraud.

Joanne at the door was super nice and very welcoming. Stephanie in the suits department helped so much. We end up buying my dad a suit and tie. We also opened a neo financial credit and benefited from 20%. Definitely win-win for both sides. Thank you for the wonderful customer service stephanie!

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. STAY AWAY.

Worst customer service department that does not know how to handle customer. My item was marked delivered but I was home all day and it was NOT delivered. Called Hudson's bay, they told me my item is still on the way because of the flood in the west coast, but tracking says otherwised. After two weeks, called them again, agent told me the item might be lost. Now they have to give investigation. One and half month after, investigation is not done and I am here without my items and my money still with them. Very bad online experience. Will never recommend Hudson's Bay to anyone. Stay away from them.

Worst experience with online shopping…

Worst experience with online shopping with Hudson's Bay and the horrible support I have received from customer care team.
On 28th December I have spent 2 hours on Hudson'S Bay website and chatting with customer care and almost with 5 different people as each time website the customer care chat throw me out of chat room and assigned another representative and I again start explaining issue for more than 6 times. There was an issue with website and inventory as their online team mentioned. With so much frustration and wasting time I had no other choice apart to stop trying to add the product to my basket and check out as it was not happening.
On 6th Jan 2022 , I have tried to shop the same product one more time and this time the check out for paying were happening without an any issue. I was so happy but this time the discount has gone and Boxing offer got over with the code of EXTRA for getting Extra 25%. I tied to reach to the customer chat team through the website and again same issue getting disconnecting and getting assign with 6 different people and wasting one and half hours this time. Finally I have chat with Mark and he suggested me to call to 1-800-521-2364 so that they can help me to get the same discount for that product. I have called to the number and were on phone for another 30 min as they were try to bring up my chat history and all the details from 28th December for the issue I had faced for ordering because of website and inventory issues.
I have placed order with the help of the person on phone. Finally the order went through.
Surprisingly I have received Email next day early morning that your order got cancel because the items got sold out. Are you serious? What kind of joke is this?
Such a frustration feeling Hudson's Bay has given to me as a customer which I can not explain and I will definitely make sure so that all my community friends and family come to know how Hudson Bay cheat me as customer and wasted my time. This kind of respond is not acceptable at all. Even normal brand will not do this.
I would like to bring few points over here:
1- Please let me know how Bay can allow me to order and chose the product and cut the money from my Bank then after 12 hours Email me that the product got sold out. Is this Joke... It was available that is why I have selected the product, the size and placed the order and then pay it.
2- How Bay can waste my time for almost 6 hours totally. What kind of service Bay has and such an old website which keep throw the customer outside the chat box and me as a customer has to keep hearing same copy paste respond from your representative team.
3- I am afraid to say that I had the worst frustration feeling and I am still in shock. Such and unprofessional respond from Hudson's Bay. The only respond was "We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience." Who will return my 6 hours of time and such a frustration feeling you have given to me.

Within second of time you cut the money and accept the order and then mentioned they will return the money within 7 to 10 business day.

Shame on such a Brand and company.

They are now full of Forever 21 garbage.

I used to LOVE the bay, found many awesome pieces there and for some great deals. However, last time I went into the store I was so confused to see nearly half of the womens department full of Forever 21 clothes. Why the heck would they get rid of quality brands for a company that has already proven it sucks and has failed and gone bankrupt??? Are they just catering to teen girls now? I think it's a huge mistake and whoever decided to make this move should not be working for this company. Such a shame.

Absolutely abhorrent customer service

Absolutely abhorrent customer service. I ordered a pair of Clarks boots mid November and they still have not arrived. I have contacted customer service (and there seems to be a significant language gap - I honestly dont think it should be legal to outsource such a vital business component overseas) numerous times, and no solution of any kind has been provided - just hollow perfunctory 'I'm sorry", and an offer to ship it back once it arrives...which hasn't happened and doesn't look as though it will. Seriously??! Is that a solution?? As far as I am concerned, this is now just plain theft. And I will be filing a complaint with the better business bureau.

I already feel at odds shopping with the Bay due to their disgustingly significant role in the colonization of this country, and now they are ripping an Aboriginal person (and others obviously) off through their shoddy business practices. Give me a break..
I will not shop at the Bay any longer - nor will I recommend them or purchase gift cards here for loved ones again.

So disappointed with the customer…

So disappointed with the customer service. I placed an order today and got confirmation, then waited the whole day to receive an when its ready for pick up. Got cancelation notice and says no longer in stock, checked online store and one item is still available for pick up at same location. And confirmed they still have it in store. Decided to call customer service to check if I can get the item that they still have, was told by the agent I can't and got explanation that its the discretion of the store if they will sell it online or not even if it still available. So confusing and disappointing, waste of time for customers like me who shop online .First time I had this kind of excuse for an online shop. Agent is also flat straight and not helpful at all. I felt its my fault that I shop online. I should have listened to the poor reviews I saw online about hudson's bay customer service.

I ordered from the Bay online for…

I ordered from the Bay online for $98.31 using up a $100 gift card I'd received. During the order process it required me to enter my credit card info. This is a trap as weeks later I find that they also charged my visa so I have paid double for the products. Now into my 2nd hour of trying to get them to correct this mistake (or theft). Forget this company.

Gone Downhill

The Bay has been my go-to store forever. Not anymore. When they recently switched to the Neo credit card I had a bad feeling and that’s been confirmed: dismal customer service, selling third party items online, and allowing outside retailers to set up shop inside their stores. I get that it’s tough for retailers to survive in these times but The Bay is contributing to their own demise with these changes. Be VERY careful shopping online that you don’t accidentally purchase something from a third party seller. I don’t think this should be allowed but, hey, what do I know.

I have shopped at the bay for fifty odd…

I have shopped at the bay for fifty odd years. It is my number one go to store for most of my needs. I have never been dissatisfied with it in any way. However I am totally shocked at their recent association with renting retail space to an independent retailer, Forever 21, in their stores. I had a unbelievable experience with Forever 21 today and upon checking online for reviews I am not the only one. It is disappointing that The Bay would associate themselves with a disreputable business like Forever21 The review I sent to their website is self
explanatory and is below. Also note this is the first time I have ever felt a need to post a negative review of any business. I will cautiously reconsider my dealings with The Bay due to my experience with Forever 21. (My review of Forever 21 is below):
"What reputable retail establishment does not honour product returns for full credit with receipt and original tags attached within two days of purchase.! When I attempted to return a sweater I purchased for my daughter I was told by the sales agent that I would be issued a store credit only. I was shocked. I wanted to speak to a manager and I was informed she was a manager. This manager, representing Forever 21, was a young lady with her belly button exposed between her jeans and short top. Totally unsympathetic to the argument that I was never told at the time of purchase that there would be no returns and there were no signs stating that policy anywhere in the vicinity of the checkout, she simply directed me to the fine print notation at the bottom of my sales receipt stipulating their policy. WHO LOOKS AT THE WORDING OF THE FINE PRINT ON A SALES RECEIPT AT TIME OF PURCHASE! Especially in recent times where that policy went out the window years ago. I have never shopped, and I do a lot of it, at any reputable store where returns with proper receipts has been an issue. I had absolutely no alternative but to accept the store credit she insisted was my ONLY option. I personally will never give Forever 21 the satisfaction of using that credit for my own purposes. I will find some needy person to give it to.
I am disappointed and troubled that "The Bay" has chosen to lease store space to such a ripoff business.
It certainly will influence my decisions to support The Bay in the future as | have done for the past fifty odd years. I will be sure to bring my views to their attention

No Customer Service outside the physical stores!!

What the hell, there is essentially no customer service contact any longer at the Bay....the agents on the phone are from other parts of the world and don't speak english or understand, therefore nothing is resolved ever....and that Neo Financial co doesn't even take calls directly because their call volume is so high?? what recourse does the customer have??what was the the Bay thinking changing their financial co to Neo Financial...the Bay is going down, I'm sure they're losing customers and I wouldn't be surprised, if and when it happens.....Sad

What the hell happened to The Bay??

What the hell happened to The Bay??? I placed a very large order and some of it got delivered to the wrong address in a completely different part of the country. It took 1.5 months to resolve this and get a refund for items they sent to someone else. As an apology I got a coupon for 20% off my next order. I was hesitant to order again so I spoke with a rep who said don't worry we will issue this 20% off as a refund once you place the next order. So, I placed my next order for $500. Then I was told that I would not be getting the 20% off refund. It took me about 6 hours and 12 separate conversations with reps, some of whom actually disconnected our chats when they couldn't resolve it for any progress to be made...and then only a partial refund was offered. I could not change or cancel my order either. Eventually I had to involve BBB and finally got the refund. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Online Store review

I just received my item, which is Ralph Lauren Microfiber Robe L/XL Royal Blue. It came from the store. It was super fast. The online store was easy to use and had no hiccups. I highly recommend the online store. It was easier to find the products that you want.

A lot of products on hbc online are…

A lot of products on hbc online are actually being fulfilled by a third party. These can’t be returned at the bay or for free. What a disaster!

As soon as I realized this after placing an order, I contacted both hbc and the third party to cancel the order. It was shipped anyway and now I’ll have to pay to return it.

Horrible experience!

Worst customer service ever

I have been an on and off Hudson’s bay customer for 40 years . I usually do in store purchases and pay with cash. The transactions usually went ok with the staff being at least cordial.I soon found out how much things have changed. I hadn’t purchased from the bay in awhile and was shopping around looking for a fan for my daughter and saw that they had paybright. Which stated paybright was easy to use and returns are easy in store or by mail. So I decided to try it. I bought a 20 inch fan and awhile later it was shipped. The problem was they sent the wrong fan it was 16 inches instead of 20. I looked at the receipt attached to box and it said 20 inch fan. The bill states easy returns in store and by mail. I didn’t worry that day deciding to call the next day to tell them the mix up. when I talked to customer service about the wrong item I received they knew I paid with Paybright and I was told I could do a return in store and get a refund. I was emailed a return ticket to show customer service so I could get the refund. I waited a few days because I was busy but called to find out how long I had to return with a paybright purchase. I was told 30 days from purchase date and It didn’t leave lot of time. I called the store on the day I wanted to return and was told that because it was paybright payment if I went to store I would be issued a bay gift card and would have to pay paybright off instead of my promised refund. If I mailed it I would get a Refund from paybright but it would cost me eight dollars for a shipping label. I informed her customer service assured me I would get a in store refund and it was past the point of mailing. She told me if I got customer services ok they would do an in store refund contacting paybright. So I got back on the phone with customer service and told them what the store told me. How I was told wrong information and it was too late to mail and I needed a refund to purchase a fan which was unavailable in the store. She told me that I could go to the store and get the store to contact paybright for me I said could I get it in writing twice she assured me that she would write me something so I would get an in-store refund. I waited 2 hours for letter and nothing came. I called customer service again told them about the wrong item the wrong information how it was too late to mail how needed funds to purchase a fan for my daughter which they didn’t have in-store and how customer service said I could get it done if I had some proof and how I was told I get an email but nothing. He told me to return the fan by mail and I said why should I have to pay for there mix up with an eight dollar fee for shipping label. At first he listened or so I thought and he said he was going to call paybright and talk to them. He told me don’t go to the store until I get an email and a call back from him. So I foolishly thought that he would be contacting paybright to do a refund for me. I waited forever and a day and he finally got back to me by email. He wrote that he contacted paybright and they told him that the store makes there own policy ( which I knew) and to mail the item. if I did it would cost me eight bucks and I wouldn’t get me a gift card. So I call customer service and was told that the Hudson Bay didn’t sell me the item and she was transferring me to another department. Checked website like I read earlier it says sold by Hudson’s bay. Hung up. Next day tried again told the story was told by customer service that I could go in store for a paybright refund asked for it in writing and then she back tracked she said that she couldn’t dictate store policy. I said even if the store said they do it with your ok. That it was the stores mix up that lead me to believe I could return In store in the first place leaving me no time to mail it for refund. What it came down to was I could return the fan instore for gift card or pay eight bucks and mail for gift card. I hung up finally fed up I wrote them told them all this and told them I will never shop there again. How there websites misleading there customer service is horrible they don’t know there own store policies. How the bill has wrong information and how it’s wrong not to give me refund after all the misinformation it was the bays mistakes I have to pay for. No returns are not easy like it states on the bill and it did say on website. Most frustrating experience ever. Will not shop again do not recommend save you hard earned dollars for a store that values customers.

Honestly, worst company for online business

Honestly, one of the worst online presence of any online retailer and their fulfillment dept isn't any better.
First of all, yes their is a convenience factor with online shopping, but it still takes time, right? And, there is the security risk of online transactions. But here's the big problem with the Bay - the system they use is antiquated and inaccurate. Case in point, ordered a ~$500 *jacket* (on sale) - what did they send? A f-ing polo shirt! Admittedly, they reimbursed me and did not charge return shipping. That said, a bitter pill to swallow and a total time waster. (You still have to truck it to a post office). Honestly, in the past I've had so many cancelled orders / items due to stock issues that I've lost count. Once, 2-3 years back, I ordered several dress shirts on one of their big Bay Day sales and every single item on my order was cancelled. Horrible company to purchase from - you're left seriously disappointed or your time wasted. Was just about to spend another $500+ on some items for my home and clothes for the office and decided this company does not deserve my commerce. To hell with the Bay and their crappy system! This company does not deserve to be in business.

Garbage, glitchy e-commerce site

Hudson's Bay website is trash and full of glitches, not to mention the constant power outages, therefore convo cutoffs when speaking with customer service (which they've seemingly outsourced to the Philippines).

Most notably, the site shows you a certain sales price on items during their weekly sale specials, but once you check out - which takes ages as their cart is super slow - Hudson's Bay then reverts back to the ORIGINAL price of the item(s) and you have no choice but to call customer service and order through there. The only way to see your sales price is to open the same items in incognito mode, but if you want to make a purchase you still have to log into your account, therefore getting the same glitch as before.

I have now warned them twice about this in the past few months, and so far they haven't fixed it. I can only assume it's on purpose at this point, to try to get unassuming people to pay full price.

Not to mention you have to spend $100 at least in order to get free shipping - the audacity with all their website issues, especially since they're a) not a small business struggling to stay afloat and b) their other, better competitors such as Nordstrom offer free shipping on most items including under $50.

Do NOT order from Hudson's Bay unless you are forced to because you have their gift card - this is the only reason why anybody should be shopping there.
