Good quality product...a shame about…
Good quality product...a shame about the returns policy. I bought a 6' sweet itch rug (broad fit) for my 14.1 hh Irish cob. The rug was too small so exchanged successfully for 6'3...this meant me paying for return of the product and paying again for forwarding the exchange, which I was happy to do. The 6'3 fitted, except the straps around the belly where not long enough. I phoned Epic Equestrian to ask if this is a comment often made, as I was puzzled the belly straps would not fit around my relatively small pony (in height not stature!). They said this had been brought to their attention, and that the new stock, not yet being despatched, was being made with longer straps. For me to try this revised edition, would mean paying for return of unsuitable 6'3 and again paying postage for revised design rug (which still may not fit), when available in a few weeks time. It then transpired that EXCHANGED GOODS CANNOT BE REFUNDED even if returned within the 14 day time limit of delivery stated, so I have decided to take to a local saddlery to have straps replaced. It was explained this is in their terms and conditions, but I have never come across this before. The moral of the story is, return and get a refund for any item that is not the correct size...do not exchange because if it still does not fit, you are stuck with it.

Unfortunately we have no control over the couriers cost, this is out of our hands, although we do heavily subsidise this for our customers even when exchanging. Unlike some other companies we do not hide the courier costs within our products we try our best to keep our prices as competitive as possible.
We try our best to be as transparent as possible with our customers by explaining our returns policy on our website under our returns and exchange page, our FAQs page and our terms and conditions page.
We do ask before completing your order, 'have you read and agreed with our refund policy and terms and conditions' by ticking this box and completing your order you have confirmed you understood our policy and agree with it.
If you do ever need help with sizing, we do recommend getting in touch as we are more than happy to offer advice, and this can sometimes avoid the need for exchanging for a different size.
