The British Wine Cellar is the convenient place to buy English & Welsh wines. They stock a wide range of wines from across England and Wales, you can choose your own selection or buy a pre-mixed case. There is no minimum number of bottles to order - you can buy one bottle or twenty! The vast majority of their wines are the same price as if you bought from the cellar door. They include tasting notes in every delivery, along with vineyard information. Gift messaging is available for free - a handwritten gift tag will be attached to each bottle of wine.

first time I have dealt with the company. very impressed. good prices, great service, speedy delivery and excellent packaging. there was a issue not of their making with a damaged bottle. they immediately credited my account and did not charge shipping even though value fell below free shipping threshold. excellent service

Great wine from this country.
I have bought these items as a Christmas present so can’t review the actual wine. But the transaction was quick and easy dispatched quickly and very well packaged. Just a small thing and I know a lot of companies are changing the way they package but there was a lot of plastic to protect the bottles. I understand that the product arriving unbroken is a must and I have bought from this company to support our own produce market. Just a a little comment but I know the wine will be very well received .

Save you money and energy and don’t buy from Wine cellar
I ordered three bottles of wine and none of them got delivered. I cancelled an appointment the day it was supposed to be delivered in order to make sure I was at home. I was told by a wine cellar representative that the bottles of wine are on the road and due to be delivered to me that day. I was then told at around 6 pm that the bottles will not be delivered to me and I stayed in my house the whole time for no reason. I will never buy from here again as I did not receive my items and was a waste of my time and money. I would highly recommend sourcing from other wine sellers

We are sorry that you don't feel your experience was a positive one with us. We dispatched your order the same day you placed it and put it on a next day service to try and get it to you as quickly as possible. Unfortunately there is a nationwide driver shortage that is affecting all aspects of supply chain - the driver did attempt delivery several times but on the day you specifically wanted it, it wasn't possible to get a driver to you. We called the courier so many times that day trying to make sure your order got delivered. It wasn't a representative you spoke to, it was the owner of the business who was trying his absolute hardest (on his birthday) to get the courier to send a driver, but the courier unfortunately couldn't do this due to the shortage.
Your wines would have been delivered the next morning, but you requested a refund instead, which we immediately issued. We're disappointed that you've left a negative review, and we were disappointed with the email threats you sent us - we really did our absolute best, and we sent a refund as soon as you asked for it. We would love you to shop with us again at some point so we can give you a more positive experience, and wish you all the best.
