The British Wine Cellar is the convenient place to buy English & Welsh wines. They stock a wide range of wines from across England and Wales, you can choose your own selection or buy a pre-mixed case. There is no minimum number of bottles to order - you can buy one bottle or twenty! The vast majority of their wines are the same price as if you bought from the cellar door. They include tasting notes in every delivery, along with vineyard information. Gift messaging is available for free - a handwritten gift tag will be attached to each bottle of wine.

Great to try a selection of British wines. All were excellent. I would order again if they were packaged 100% cardboard. The use of plastic was disappointing from an environmental viewpoint.

We thoroughly transit-trialled lots of protective packaging options and whilst large orders of 12 bottles can be packed only in cardboard (as couriers handle them differently due to the size and weight of the box), we found that the plastic option protected orders of all sizes far better from breakages in transit. We carefully considered our options and chose to deliver in air sacks - we don't want our customers to be forced to buy 12 bottles at a time, and we know that the environmental footprint of having to send wines out multiple times because they're breaking in transit is higher than only sending them out once, albeit in plastic-based packaging.
We are continuing to explore options to reduce our environmental footprint overall - after all, buying English & Welsh wines is so much better for the environment than buying foreign wines!

Clear description of the wines on offer. Fast delivery. I ordered a variety of white wines under 12% and they are uniformly thoroughly enjoyable. Much appreciated touch was a Thank You wine. I wish more people would try English and Welsh wines, I have persuaded my son that there excellent wines out there.
