Message not included in the shipment

Bought cheese gifts as Christmas presents for friends. None of them received the Christmas message I included with the order, consequently they had no idea why/who from they arrived. Difficult to find/add little extras such as crackers/chutneys to the order. Only small choice of cheese gifts compared with the past. Cheeses said to be nice. No company contact telephone/email to enable a small change to order (due to mistake made actually because of opaque and clunky ordering process).

Disappointed

Although advertised as a Christmas gift, and that it would be in date for Christmas,the best BB date was 23.12.25.
Also was described as a hamper, but was not packaged as I would have thought a hamper to be. Cheeses were packed loose in a postage box, with no presentation box. Quite disappointed

The advent calendar was amazing

Tasting different cheeses you wouldn't normally buy

The selection of cheeses and charcuterie was epic. Really enjoyed getting to try different products that I probably wouldn't pick up if I was in a store (we're all creatures of habit right?). Packaging was solid and everything arrived in perfect condition.

I'm so sorry to hear the shelf life of your selection was shorter than you expected, and that this has caused disappointment. We always aim to provide a minimum of 3 days for soft and blue cheeses, and 5 days for harder styles such as cheddar.

All of our cheeses are freshly cut to order, and our cheeseboxes are designed to be enjoyed within a few days of arrival, when the cheese is at its absolute best. Rather than vacuum-sealing, we use a special wax paper that’s designed to keep cheese fresh for a few days while allowing it to breathe – which is especially important for the kinds of cheeses we include.

Because our pieces are small (around 120g), they naturally have a shorter shelf life once cut from the whole wheel – but this also means they taste fresher and better when they arrive with you. We've chosen this approach deliberately, as we want the cheese to reach you in the best possible condition.

That being said, we completely understand that it was not in line with your expectations for the delivery, and we are truly sorry for the disappointment it's caused you. We appreciate that lots of our customers order their boxes ahead of time for special occasions, and we are very sorry if this has caused a disruption to your plans.
