Great service from start to finish. The app is a bit fiddly till you get used to it but works well and the real time currency rate is great.
An improvement would be to be able to login with your fingerprint but I'm sure that will come in time.

Initially very cautious aboutusing this service. Checked The Currency Account out via some research and made direct contact via their website. Talked direct to their customer services who explained how the system worked - what is offered and equally important what it doesn't offer (No currency card option for example). No hard sell. Set up my account 12.30 on a Wednesday. Currency delivered following day before 13.00. Impressed with that and the exchange rate which was significantly better than anything else I could find.

l exchanged 1200 £ at a euro rate of 1.0845 equals 13014 euros
i received 1280 euros as currency account deduct 17.9 euros for delivery
so the true exchange rate works out at 1.608 but they do warn you about
charges read the small print if i had gone to a local exchange who were dealing at 1.075 l would have received 290 euros so a word to the wise

We simply charge a transparent and fair 1.5% (minimum £10) transaction fee on all Travel Money orders. This fee is not signed for delivery, delivery only and covers, insurance, logistics, processing and packaging as well as delivery.
