Utterly Delicious!!
Ordered 40 hampers for clients and was absolutely blown away. The customer service was phenomenal and the actual contents within the box were truly amazing. Delicious meats and cheeses with a fantastic selection of wine. All of our clients were completely over the moon. Will absolutely be ordering again - cannot recommend enough!

Outstanding Customer Service
Ordered a cheese meat and beer hamper for my son in laws birthday, paid for a Saturday deliver. Due to the fault of the courier & NOT the Deli Society, the parcel didnt get delivered sadly. Not only did they refund me in full, their apology was incredibly sincere AND they sent out another parcel too. Really great quality products
Really great quality products, some things are definitely spending money on. All the charcuterie was amazing and while there was an issue with one of my cheese, the company quickly resolved it for me. Would use again in a heartbeat.

The dog liked it.
I was sent a Gabriela cheese and wine selection as a present.
Despite the Deli Society’s claim that items would be delivered with at least 14 days life, the cheese was already going hard.
I was disappointed and put the following review on their website. Obviously the Deli Society doesn’t like bad news as they didn’t publish it.

Nice selection and very tasty cheese.
The only problem was the claimed 14 days life.
When it was delivered, one of the cheeses was already discolouring, showing it was aging so we started eating the cheeses immediately. Despite keeping them in the fridge, it was all getting hard by day 4.
On day 5 the dog enjoyed what was left.

Josh here, one of the Co-founders of The Deli Society. I'm really sorry to hear this. We cut and wrap our cheese the day it is dispatched, on a next day service, and so in theory this should have arrived to you the day after our cheesemonger cut and wrapped the items. We do then recommend all cheese is consumed within 14 days of receiving it. But, cheese is a living, breathing product and especially with the artisan type products we use, that shelf life can vary depending on how and where it’s stored. For example an air-tight container can really help maintain freshness and quality. You mention that your cheese only lasted 4 days which sounds odd and of course isn't right. There perhaps may have been an issue in transit, but without any further information, unfortunately we cannot do any investigations at this stage.
We wish you'd have got in contact with us at the time as we would have been happy to replace the entire box for you. We are a small start up and rely on repeat customers, so if something isn't right we will always go above and beyond to rectify it. Much better for all parties than a review that is titled 'The dog liked it' which will harm our business immeasurably.
As for your original review on our site. As you can see we actually have zero reviews published there. It's a function that doesn't seem to work that well for us as it gets overloaded with spam. So it isn't used and isn't checked. Hence zero reviews on our site. Good or bad. I'd be happy to send you over a screenshot of this to show you the issue we have with it. We are really into reviews and showing off about our business which is why you can see we have claimed this page and actively invite our users to review us.

The product was delicious
Ordering the product was easy and quick, the final delivery was date and time was emailed to me, the product and presentation was excellent and worth 5 stars. My only reservation was the length of time it took to arrive from the moment it was ordered to the final delivery. It was meant as a Christmas present but it didn’t arrive until New Years Eve. This could obviously be down to the pre Christmas rush but it was a disappointment and the only reason for not giving it a full star rating. The actual product was delicious.

During the Xmas period we turned off Xmas slots on Monday 19th which I can see was the day you placed your order, so the first day on the calendar would have been to deliver on NYE. I am sorry that we couldn't get the order to you sooner and I hope you revisit our site, where we will be turning our 'next day service if ordered before 1pm' back on next week.
