I reported a problem with The Events Calendar free plugin to their support email and they replied politely, with helpful information, even though, technically, I wasn't eligible for premium support (via email) since I use their free version. Using troubleshooting resources on their site, I was able to figure out the problem. I reported my findings back to them, as it's something that might help somebody else and they thanked me for the info. 5-stars for being awesome, polite, professional humans.
