After losing one eye after a stroke nine years ago I was told that I need a cataract operation,I left it for some time until it became so bad that it had to be done.I was recommended to visit peter simcock who is an eye surgeon of many years experiancAfter many tests I had the operation month later.This was a difficult operation because of the thickness of the cataract.It was a great success and after opening my eye the next day I was amazed af how good my vision was, better than thirty years ago.Thank you Peter who treated me with courtesy and kindness the whole time.I would recommend him to everyone. Mr. Simcock recently did cataract operations on both my eyes. I am absolutely delighted with the results. My long sight is better than it ever was.

After being very short sighted since school plus astigmatism and cataracts in later life, I cannot believe how wonderful my sight is in both eyes, after Mr Simcock operated and implanted Toric Eyhance lenses. For me this is life changing.

From start to finish the whole experience I had at the Exeter Eye Hospital was outstanding. My initial examination with Peter Simcock was extremely thorough with everything explained in detail. As a very anxious patient my experience of having cataract surgery in both eyes was to say the least excellent. The team were amazing putting me at ease in every step of the procedure. I am now seeing the world in a whole new light and the bonus is I no longer have to wear glasses apart from reading small print.
