We are in love with Farmer’s Dog! Our dog is a stocky English Lab that puts on weight really easily. He was struggling as a young dog to go up stairs, run and play.
Fast forward 2 years being on Farmer’s Dog, he’s down about 25 and happier than ever. Running, going up stairs, playing with friends and even JUMPING! Neighbors make comments constantly about how healthy and happy he looks.
Not to mention, he loves the food. It’s pricey, but I will never go back. I can guarantee that switching to Farmer’s Dog has added years to his live, which is priceless. I am a customer for life.

Our dog is 13 years old and failing slowly, with Cushing's disease and having undergone two cancer surgeries on his left hind leg. Recently, his appetite slowed and we were having a hard time getting him to eat his usual food, which he had inhaled with no problem for the last year or so. My wife ordered the Farmer's Dog meals and SHIZAM! Our old boy is absolutely SCARFING his meals! He drools while we get it ready! Ha ha! He's much perkier, doesn't sleep as much (he's an old boy but, his naps have shortened) inhales his meals and his coat is reverting to its previous state - shiny and smooth! Thank you! I can't say enough about this great product. Pricey? Yes BUT, is your fur friend worth it?!? YES! Do NOT hesitate; get it! As with all things in life, you get what you pay for and, The Farmer's Dog IS the real thing!

My2 dogs are large so I can only afford to give them Farmer’s Dog as a treat, not a regular meal.

I love they have markers for each half pound of serving.

I gave each of my 2 dogs a half pound serving as a treat. They devoured it and proceeded to vigorously lick each of their bowls clean. They each gave up on their own bowls and went to see what their sibling left over, which was nothing.

One of them dropped a crumb, less than the size of a small child’s pinky nail on the floor but they saw it at the same time. They began to fight over the crumb and I had to step between them to end the fight as my son and his girlfriend each grabbed a dog for me.

Bear in mind, they normally eat from the same bowl with no issues. The only time I separate them is when they eat table food. They behaved the same as they would with table food, they didn’t want to share.

The log roll contains 12 half pound servings and there is a marker on the roll marking each half pound.

Not only will I buy it again, I highly recommend it. My dogs love it enough to fight one another to possibly get an extra crumb.

Definitely not worth the money. The whole point to ordering ‚fresh‘ food disappears since they are actually selling FROZEN food. The ingredients are no better than i see at my local pet store. Also, they say its ‚personalized‘ but i was getting the same thing a friend of mine got when THEY tried it and our dogs are very different.

Also, just using the name ‚farmers dog‘ should tell you its not worth it. Who has ever heard of a dog on a farm living more than a few years? The whole point to buying dog food is for it to be better than you can provide yourself.

They advertise it gives your dog more energy, it does not.
Plus its just too expensive.

I've been feeding both of my Welsh Corgi pups Farmer's Dog for the last 7.5 months, and they've both lost 10 lbs! My older pup Leia is 11 now and she has more energy than I would ever expect her to. Her joints are so healthy, she's not limping during walks, her coat looks so shiny... she looks so good and I'm so thankful. We absolutely love the convenience of the Farmer's Dog packs. It's worth every penny.

I have the sweetest yellow lab named Henry. We got him from the shelter, almost 2 years ago. Henry is the pickiest eater you’ve ever met. He likes something one day and then the next he doesn’t. I have a very busy life, and it was stressing me out to no end that my poor Doggy was not getting the food and the nutrients that he needed. That all changed with the Farmers Dog. Henry sits and waits for his food every morning and every night. We recently moved to North Carolina. There was a glitch at the corporate Housing office and Henry’s food was nowhere to be found. I called the Farmers Dog and immediately they put in a second order to have food delivered tomorrow. I spoke with Benny on the phone, at the Farner’s Dog, and he sent me a very simple recipe that I could use to make sure that Henry had good food until he gets his Farmers Dog order tomorrow. As most of you know, labs have these little fat pockets under their skin, those have all but disappeared on Henry. We’ve had labs before, but none were ever as special as this dog, Henry. I feel so relieved and unstressed, knowing that he is eating all of his food and it is good for him and giving him the nutrients that he needs. I’m so grateful to the Farmers Dog for the excellent customer service. We’ve been ordering from the Farmers Dog for two months now and we are lifetime members of the Farmers Dog from here on out. Henry is only five years old. I know we have so many more years with Henry because of the Farmers Dog. I’m forever grateful.

Farmers Dog is worth every penny! My household every dime counts so I understand the search for a bargain but breaking it down daily FD is the same price maybe 5-10 dollars a month more and you have it all in the freezer ready to go. Their customer service is excellent- rushed the shipping when I need it right away at no cost and they will find a price point you can afford if one of their pre planned months is too expensive, and most importantly you will see a change in your dog's life, digestion, fur, poop, everything! I'll never buy that canned shoe leather they call "name brand" dog food ever again. My dog wont even go near it! Worth every dime.

My nine-year-old dog has been eating Farmers Dog food for three months. She has lost weight, has more energy, her skin and coat are beautiful. She no longer has digestive problems (diarrhea, vomiting, constipation, flatulence). She sleeps better. She has had significant, positive behavioral changes (which really amazed me). She wants to play more, seems more content and is much more sociable. She loves the food and is eager to eat. She was not enthusiastic about the kibble pellets she was being fed before. We took a chance on The Farmer’s Dog 6.5 years ago when our Pug was five years old. He was struggling horribly with allergies and was overweight. Within weeks we noticed a change in his energy level and within a few months he was no longer itching constantly. Our vet was extremely impressed with Walker’s improvements and a few years later at his nine year checkup, the vet said he was in the shape of a five year old Pug. He lost the four pounds he needed to lose and remained in excellent health from age five when we started feeding him The Farmer’s Dog until three weeks ago when a heart mass began to affect him. He passed away on 8/31/2025.
We will forever be grateful to The Farmer’s Dog for being a huge part of why he was so healthy for the vast majority of his life! They are a phenomenal company in every sense of the word and their customer service is the best of any company I’ve ever dealt with.

The care for us and our dogs is top notch. It is obvious that the care team loves dogs. Also, our chubby dog has slimmed down and she looks great!

We are so happy with Farmer’s Dog food. A little over a year ago, we started using farmer’s dog. We were hesitant about ordering food from a company we knew very little about. Once we realized they loved it and have been feeding them Farmer’s Dog food ever since, our dogs have never looked so good not to mention there coats are so shinny.
I am extremely satisfied with the customer service. The team is always attentive, responsive, and willing to help with anything I need. Their support has consistently exceeded my expectations.

My 7.5 year old English Setter, Prince Poppy has always been a picky eater and despite many attempts to schedule his feedings of ProPlan once or twice daily, he refused to eat his full meal and continued to only graze throughout he day taking an entire day or two to eat his bowl of food. However, from the first bite of Chicken Farmer’s Dog, he did not raise his head until he had completely eaten his entire bowl! On day two, he sat in the kitchen floor staring at me to let me know he was waiting for me to fill his bowl!

Prince Poppy has always preferred chicken flavored food and treats and he started to hesitate when he tried the Turkey meal. Since the moment I placed my first order, Farmer’s Dog was amazing at immediately texting and emailing me with super helpful info and tips and order updates. So, when Poppy was a bit hesitant with the Turkey (it didn’t take him too long to gobble up the entire bowl tho!), I texted them on the same number they texted me and Sara B. almost immediately responded and did not hesitate to call me to make sure they accommodated Prince Poppy’s finicky appetite. Not only was she amazing answering every question and immediately creating a solution to suit Poppy but she was also friendly, personable, and knowledgable of what Poppy might need and how to help. Prince Poppy loves Farmer’s Dog and I not only know I am giving him the best but now I also know it’s coming from an amazing company also truly cares as much as I do that he gets the very best as well!

Molly has been fed Farmer’s Dog food for about 3 weeks or so. She absolutely loves meal time, so much so, that she expects to be fed breakfast as soon as I get up, around 4:15 am. And then, she is always ready for supper about 5:00 pm. Meals never go unfinished. The big plus for all, her persistent diarrhea and having to go several times a day and night has completely vanished. And, I would add, that for a 14 year old Pittie, she seems to have a little more spark and energy. Changing to The Farmer’s Dog has been a welcome change for all.

The ease of ordering and personal contact with the reps, Casey and Armando, at Farmers Dog, is a complete breeze. I especially like the fact that I can follow my order from individual labeling to the different stages of packaging and delivery. The most important gift for me, is that my dog, River’s, acid reflux and GI issues have almost completely subsided, making any trips to the veterinarian unwarranted. Thank you for making River healthy again.

The Farmer’s Dog is a truly great company. Their customer service is top-notch. I recently needed to cancel my plan for personal reasons and didn’t realize the cancellation hadn’t gone through. I called in and spoke with a representative (C.R.), who was incredibly warm, helpful, and understanding. I really appreciated the way they handled the situation with such care and professionalism. Thank you again for for excellent service!

I have an almost 15 year old chihuahua that has been a very picky eater. In the past several months he was beginning to have some health issues - I was sure he was failing. After a 3 week illness where he was just throwing up anything he ate and had constant diarrhea I decided to try Farmers Dog. Since he started this food (which he gobbles right up) he has made a complete recovery and is acting like he did years ago! He is happy and energetic and I am just so pleased! I only wish I had found this years ago! I recommend everyone try this for a healthier pet! Enzo and I thank Farmer Dog from the bottom of our hearts!

We have a rescue long-haired chihuahua. When we got him he was very sick and needed life saving surgery. Fast forward to now (3yrs) and he is having tummy issues again. Have taken him to vet twice and Doctor is thinking his shunt again so we had decided to change his diet to just see what happens (he was on dry kibble) and we have been on Farmer’s Dog for about 10 days and we have already seen an improvement in energy-attitude and hunger. Casey is my go to girl at Farmer’s Dog and she gives me updates on shipment, She is always there for me and she is a “real” person not some automated reply. I have found my forever dog food for my fur babies (I have 2) and I could not be happier. If you thinking at all of changing your food please give Farmer’s Dog a try, I promise you will not be disappointed!!
