good range of wools in many colours
A fab choice of wools in so many colours it's hard to choose. I got some of the multipacks which are good value for money if you want lots of colours (or to stock up on staples). Will definitely buy from here again.

Great starter pack
Great starter pack. Could do with some core wool, black and wasn’t sure what needles I’d been sent. It seemed like only 2 needle options. I’d pay a bit more to have these bits and reversing needles.

We are pleased to hear that you liked the starter pack and really appreciate your suggestions. We do colour-code our felting needles and include a card in the kit to show which colour corresponds to each needle type. We are very sorry if this was unclear and we will certainly look into that.
As for core wool, we use our carded wool as both a core and finishing wool due to its versatility and excellent felting properties. For this reason, we do not include separate core wool in our starter packs, but it is definitely available to purchase on our website should you wish to add some to your collection.

Disappointing
For a company with such overwhelmingly positive reviews on Trustpilot, I'm surprised that when something does go wrong, The Felt Box isn't keener to put it right. The item I was sent was not what I wanted and when I contacted them to point this out, what they did was jump through hoops, complete with screenshots and patronising explanations, to assure me that it was actually all my fault because I was 'confused' by their shopping basket selection process, but they made no effort at all to ask how they could best put it right. I'm still sure I ordered what I said I did, but their representative disagreed and said what I was sent was what I'd ordered. At least they reassured me, very kindly, that unfortunately they don't accept returns unless the incorrect item has been sent, and as in this case it was clearly just silly old me being 'confused' by their website, they weren't going to help me at all. Happily, I only wanted a one-off purchase so I won't have call to use their services again.

I've ordered loads from here. Always a speedy delivery. Never any issues. Wool is good quality and great price. Accessories, needles ect are always packaged well. There is nothing negative to say about felt box. This is the only place I order from. The customer service is great, if you have any questions they get back to you quickly.
