We have not yet had the flooring installed, so this is premature. We feel communication is your main concern. We do not yet know when our flooring is coming. I do think you should rethink this.

From start to finish a total shambles, ordered a new stair carpet , the fitter rang and organised a date to fit , he turned up at the date and time arranged , he worked non stop and once finished asked us to inspect it , Simon the fitter had done a fantastic job , the only problem was that it was the wrong carpet , getting a response from the floor room was a joke , everytime we rang we were told somebody would ring us , which they didn't, eventually I got a call stating that if I wanted to keep the wrong carpet they would give me £100 off, I refused and then spent the next week or so trying to get a response , today they finally came out and fitted the carpet we had originally ordered , two half day lost off work , I would avoid these people if you don't want the stress .

I was visiting some friends in the area and we attended bluewater shopping centre and came across the floor room. I spoke to a lovely lady, I think her name was Erica. (who I may add seemed the be very unwell, surely staff who are sick should be at home to recover?) however all being said she absolutely gave me 100% attention I felt important and valued. We went through my various options and chose the carpet I wanted. When I was given the cost and going through all the paper work to get it booked in Erica noticed that I actually lived in Milton Keynes and went on to advise me to attend the store in Milton Keynes as my carpets would be done quicker. I didn’t even know we had one. But she explained exactly where I could find it. I have to say the floor room, I’m impressed. Not only were your staff members helpful and polite, but they also put the customer first, rather than push for me to commit there and then. Will definitely be attending my local branch tomorrow. Shout out to Erica at bluewater.

Such a shambles of a company! I believe I was the first customer of the Bluewater department back in October when they first went into the John Lewis store and I've had nothing but problems from start to........ Oh no, I can't say finish because they haven't finished the job and for some unknown reason, can't?!!! First of all they got my quote wrong and tried to get me to pay more money to have the floor fitted in a herringbone pattern even though that's what I'd stated I wanted from the outset. I refused as I'd already paid at this point therefore the contract had been made so I asked for a refund. They were going to let me walk away but changed their minds and said they'd pay the extra as a goodwill gesture as it was down to staff not being trained properly.
My fitting date kept being pushed back time and again as they then said that the thresholds hadn't been ordered. It was now getting close to my wedding date and Christmas so once again I asked for a refund if they couldn't fulfill the order as by now it was too stressful. They did send a fitter to fit the flooring over a three day period who I have to say was incredibly professional and did an amazing job with what he was provided-the highlight of all this.
Unfortunately he couldn't finish though as they still hadn't provided him with the thresholds worth nearly £250 and the little bits they had given him were incorrect. When I rang the shop to find out what was going to happen, he said he didn't know anything about it, the manager had left and the area manager (the one who had rang asking me to pay extra, then said you've got my number now if you've got anymore problems) has ignored all of my calls. Eventually after I emailed to say I could get a different company to finish the job therefore could I have a refund on the missing thresholds, I had an email back to say they were working out how to do this. This was now 2 weeks ago and still I haven't heard anything. I never do as it's always me who has to do the chasing. So it's now a dispute with the credit card company for goods not received from them.
There has been absolutely no customer service whatsoever and basically they'll take your money as quickly as possible but trying to get it back is going to take some time.
I don't know what John Lewis were thinking about renting out their space to this company but I'd definitely go somewhere else!!
