Super friendly service! Scott came to visit our house and measure up the rooms. He was friendly and efficient but more importantly really helped with great advice and suggestions. I wanted to try to match the new carpet to some existing carpets. Scott tried a number of sample to get the best match for us and advised us of the pros and cons of different types of carpet (wool vs synthetic) to meet our needs. A super service!

After a slow start and several visits to John Lewis to find a person in The Floor Room to advise we’ve received excellent help and the process of ordering couldn’t have been better. Within 24 hours we’ve been visited by Scott whose expertise has been invaluable. He has made constructive suggestions so the outcome is likely to be less wasteful, look better and be completed within a few weeks. Scott’s knowledge and experience have given us confidence that going back to John Lewis was entirely right even if getting the process started was somewhat frustrating. Thank you.

Top service, from first casual drop-in-for-a-browse at John Lewis to the estimator and fitters. Unsure what to go for - wood, sisal, carpet etc - my many questions were answered thoughtfully over the next few weeks. On colour, texture, material, underlay etc, Sakshi offered just the sort of help and advice you hope for with a big purchase, and she was clearly knowledgeable about interior design. Very happy with the new flooring.

Travelled for almost 2 hours to my nearest John Lewis to actually talk to someone about carpets and twice we visited the concession in store, with no-one to be seen, no way of contacting them and no other help available because it's not part of John Lewis. We shall go elsewhere.

The team in Edinburgh have been friendly, helpful and communicative in during the consultation process. I have never had any difficulty in contacting them and they provided me with really helpful advice! I highly recommend The Floor Room!

As soon as I arrived at The Floor Room on 14th May. I had unbelievable attention by the two staff on Duty.They were so helpful and gave me the help I needed to choose a carpet.Within no time the fitter was arranging a time that was right for me.to come and measure up.Many Thanks Jane Johnston

Lovely range of carpets, quiet area of john lewis to mull things over, and excellent help from Sakshi when needed.
Sakshi was extremely helpful and understood and listened to my thoughts, coming up with good ideas and different choices. Not pushy at all, issued clear quotes and dates.

I was able to walk around looking at the carpets without being hassled, but once I had chosen I immediately was able to discuss the product and get an estimate.This was followed by someone coming to my flat to do an accurate measure which resulted in the estimate being reduced!!
