Guided session with Jansen Teakle
Had a guided session with jansen, fished a mark local to Somerset , his experience with knowledge of local marks, the correct bait and a bit of determination showed me what can be achieved! I had a great time and caught my best shore caught codling to date.
Overall can't fault the service and would definitely recommend !

The best start when tackling the shores of the Bristol Channel
Fishing off the shores of the Bristol Channel can be quite an apprehensive and intimidating experience, even dangerous if you're new to fishing. This was the case for me and booking a session with Jansen gave me a quick safe start to begin exploring the Channel. Jansen's approach to coaching is very professional, respectful and informative. If you're thinking about fishing the Bristol Channel, and want to get the best start, you will learn a lot to from Jansen and probably continue to book future sessions with this very knowledgeable and friendly angler.

The Gambling Angler
I have had the honour of being able to book 2 sessions with Jansen. I'm by no means a totally inexperienced fisherman, but what I learnt off Jansen in 2 sessions has most definitely taken my fishing to a higher level. I would highly recommend anyone who is getting into fishing or already fishes but wants to improve their ability to have a session with The Gambling Angler. I myself will most certainly be looking to have another session with Jansen when the bass are in.

Excellent guide…
I have had numerous guided fishing session's with Jansen. Each time Jansen has been very helpful with sharing his vast knowledge and experience. Jansen is very friendly and always accomodating regardless of ability and experience. I highly recommend booking. I will be booking again.

Fantastic guide with vast knowledge
I went out with Jansen last year at a low water mark in the channel. I’d like to think I’ve got a good idea about fishing but Jansen has a huge knowledge. Being a low water venue it has its dangers so it was really re assuring to get out with someone who knew the venue inside out. Has also been more than helpful since our trip out with helping me to upgrade some of my fishing kit. Hopefully this year I can find the time to pay Jansen for another guided trip to another new mark. I’d highly recommend him to people, new to fishing, looking to improve your fishing or even if you want to learn a new mark. Top guide!!

Jansen is a truly fantastic…
Jansen is a truly fantastic angler,person and guide. My father inlaw usually joins us on a guided fishing session with jansen and is always made to feel very welcome and at ease.
100% recommend a guided fishng trip to anyone from begginer to expert. We will be booking our 3rd guided session very soon.
