In our busy day-to-day lives, more people are finding it difficult to take time off to see their GP or have to wait on average up to 10 working days to see a GP. We at The GP service provide an Online Doctor service to help diagnose and treat common conditions using our on-line consultation platform. Our aim is to provide a safe, discreet and easy journey for patients who are looking for private medical treatment at their convenience and at a cost that people can afford. Our system allows patients to consult with qualified Doctors with a consultation via online assessment questionnaires or through secure video chat. They can then choose to collect their treatment from any Pharmacy registered with our service. The service also allows Doctors at their sole discretion to provide prescriptions where appropriate as well as referral letters and fit notes. 1st of everything takes time

Signed up 25th March and took delivery once all checks and consultations were done. Received my prescription today. 😊

It has been a really bad experience…

It has been a really bad experience form the start. The only part that was reasonably satisfactory was my initial video call appointment.

Getting hold of people or even getting a response is extremely poor and have waited a few days before receiving any form of contact.

The medication provided is of really poor standard and did nothing for me apart from dry out my tongue 🤪 and made me feel in the sick side.

Overall, a very poor service and product which leaves me with no hope going forward. I have put in a complaint and also have asked how to cancel my subscription.

We will see how long it takes to get a response and I will be following this up with cancard. I do wonder if anyone else has felt as disappointed to the point that they feel like they have been conned???

Hidden charges alert!

It says "Total £49" in absolutely huge letters and then they charge you 69. Other than this, the service works very well. But hidden charges or misleading info means automatic 1 star for me.

The £68.99 you saw was an authorisation hold, not a final charge. This temporary hold is placed on your payment method to cover the cost of the £49 video consultation plus a potential £19.99 if you were to require any additional services during your consultation, such as a prescription, referral letter, or fit note.

You will only be charged the additional £19.99 if you explicitly request and receive one of these add-on services.

If you did not receive any additional services, the final charge to your account will be the advertised £49 for the video consultation. The £19.99 authorisation hold should be released by your bank within a few business days, depending on their processing times.

We are taking your feedback seriously and are actively working to make this authorisation process more transparent during the booking stages to prevent future misunderstandings. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Well informed knowledgeable staff.

I had a lovely consultation with Joanne who was very patient and kind who had great advice where needed. I am now a patient (new) once my prescription was sorted it arrived promptly and I’m looking forward to my follow up appointment to see how I’m doing. 😊

So far so good

So far so good, whatsapp chatted with the Team, vid call with Doctor, then pay for prescription and then waited couple days for delivery, arrived on time,well packaged, signed RoyalMail.

OK so far

Ok So far not as quick as I'd thought it would be bit of a wait to get sorted but being reasured things will run smoothly and quickly now set up just waiting for medication now so can't say what products are like ATM

Absolutely amazing service my initial…

Absolutely amazing service my initial call was quickly booked and had my medication arrive within. Few days of selection.
All I can say is thank you so much and I’m so happy with the quality of the products you have to offer. Highly recommend
