In our busy day-to-day lives, more people are finding it difficult to take time off to see their GP or have to wait on average up to 10 working days to see a GP. We at The GP service provide an Online Doctor service to help diagnose and treat common conditions using our on-line consultation platform. Our aim is to provide a safe, discreet and easy journey for patients who are looking for private medical treatment at their convenience and at a cost that people can afford. Our system allows patients to consult with qualified Doctors with a consultation via online assessment questionnaires or through secure video chat. They can then choose to collect their treatment from any Pharmacy registered with our service. The service also allows Doctors at their sole discretion to provide prescriptions where appropriate as well as referral letters and fit notes. For full details and charges, please refer to our Terms and Conditions on this site.

I tried to get a price and make an appointment to see one of the specialists for pain management to get a steroid injection. The people answering would only give me a time an never answered my question on 3 emails , conform the price, confirm what would be done ( test for Gout) and tell me why the web price is different to the one you are quoting me. Intentional or just ADHD?

Realy felt understood
They are very though when asking
about pain relief and painkillers
Felt the process from first contact to paying for the prescription was long
But overall i would recommend

It's easier to speak to the King of England than to speak to the GP. The mistake made was to empower Front line staff with people's lives. I underwent a major operation and after my painkillers ran out, after being discharged ,I phoned the to ask the GP to prescribe I was told to make an appointment , I called 111 they told it is only the GP who can prescribe. Checked appointment date none. I am a Tax payer. How does the reception staff know the depth of the pain of whatever pain you are going through? Don't get me wrong they are good at their job smile and the rest until it comes to medical issues that requires a doctor. I think pieces of notes can be taken stuck in the GP 's notice board so he can make a decision because he knows very well how some conditions can't wait. Just to elaborate this , the pain killers I was taking can only be prescribed by the doctor. This is the time I learnt that "Pain can Kill".

Scammers. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.
1) Took my money, then a popup say "oh by the way, prescriptions are an additional cost."
2) Then, no doctor ever "Joined" the chat or called me or anything.

Website is poor, re-ordering unnecessarily difficult. Will explore other providers to see if they're better and easier to deal with.
Had a pleasant chat with consultant then doctor and am very happy with there services
10/10
Thank you

£54 for 2 minutes and them to tell me they can’t do anything. Difficult to understand Dr. Disinterested and unhelpful.
Contacted for a refund and was told no.
Avoid this service at all costs. It is a waste of money and you will not be helped.
I’m extremely disappointed with the service. My mother saw a GP for an emergency skin issue. She trusted the Gp service and pharmacy, but ended up being given incorrect prescription (5mg instead of 1 pill of 40mg) by the pharmacist. This was still fine as it was more of the pharmacist’s fault (even though it would have been nice to know the exact prescribed amount). However, when I contacted the GP service to inform them about this issue, I just wanted some reassurance that this won’t happen again because a wrong prescription is a very serious issue. I just wanted some confirmation that they would improve their communications with the pharmacist to prevent any future issues. I only knew about this extremely troubling issue until I saw my NHS GP. This is ridiculous since I paid for the service for urgent healing.
However, when I raised this issue with their team (I even stated that I know its not the doctor’s fault but we want better communications), I only got back a generic email stating that their doctor did nothing wrong according to NICE guidelines and said that we should do better (gave us suggestions) to ensure we get the right medication. I replied stating that the pharmacist did give us 1 pill but for 5mg, not 40mg. They then said that we should tell their doctors in the future to give us the prescription amount, meaning that they will ignore this issue until we pay again. Then they might be a little more aware. I’m not sure why they were blaming us for this issue of communication, so I asked them to confirm whether they will ignore this issue unless we pay again. To which they just replied with something completely unrelated: that “yes our doctors will have access to your previous records with us”.
Throughout this whole interaction, all I saw was that they were worried about potential legal action and wanted to put the blame on us. They don’t care about their patient’s wellbeing. We only wanted them to ensure proper communication with the pharmacy so this potentially very dangerous issue never comes up again. The wrong prescription can have very very serious effects. My mother is lucky that she went to her NHS GP again about it. Will not use this service again.

I requested an appointment and wrote what it was regarding.
As soon as online video appt started the doctor told me it's not something that can be dealt with via video consultation.
I requested a refund as they should not have accepted the appt on this basis.
Customer services have fobbed me off for a week now. I have emailed in numerous times.
Terrible service. I would not recommend to anyone.

From start to finish, they listened and showed empathy.
Easy to talk with, no question was classed silly.

Poor online GP service. Doctor was late and was not able to use his mic. Lack of empathy and no real attempt to listen to my symptoms. And then the prescription they provided was not accepted until you point out the instructions for the pharmacist.
