Both of my NHS hearing aids had broken…
Both of my NHS hearing aids had broken tubing and one was unusable. I got an appointment at The Hearing People at Hastings Plaza and was seen immediately. A very pleasant audiology expert replaced the tubes on both aids at no charge. Great service and highly recommended.

Excellent service from The Hearing People
This was an amazingly quick and efficient service. I went to the appointment expecting to have a discussion about my hearing loss and perhaps a test. I left an hour after I entered the building having had a hearing test, an analysis of what loss I was experiencing and a pair of hearing aids calibrated by the person I saw to meet my particular needs. And it cost me nothing . I was astonished how efficient the whole process was. The technician conducting the procedure was pleasant and informative and clearly knew what he was doing. There was no pressure on me and the whole thing was relaxed and informative.

Excellent service
After my hearing test with Sajana she offered me hearing aids. She explained thoroughly how they work, set up the app with me, answered any questions I had. She gave me reassurance, didn’t rush me and explained that I can contact her with any queries I may have. A great service!

The audiologist was very helpful in sorting me out for nhs hearing aids. Impressed with the Bluetooth facility.
The only criticism would be the lack of an audiometric booth as occasionally during the hearing test background noises could be heard.

Pranash Jame, saw me this afternoon at Hastings Station Plaza in the audiology department. He was very thorough and explained every step of the way in a friendly and informative manner. I left with a new set of hearing aids and already this has made a huge difference to me.

This was my second hearing test
This was my second hearing test, the first at Boots needed to be repeated to qualify for an nhs hearing aid.
This appointment was more thorough and clearly explained,I am using my ne hearing aid,which is excellent.
The whole experience was professional and supportive, which one would hope for from an nhs representative.

Having requested spares for my hearing…
Having requested spares for my hearing aids from Royal hospital Carlow Chesterfield l was directed to Audiological Science ( now called The Hearing People ) who work in partnership with NHS Derbyshire and have an outlet ( Thursdays ) at my local doctors surgery in Dronfield. My appointment was with Hannah and l just want to say what a lovely experience it was dealing with someone who was professional and obviously enjoyed their work.. l was made to feel at ease and went through some questions and answers to help Hannah to see where we were in regards to my last hearing test ( 3 to 4 years ago when l was first fitted with aids ).. every step of the way was explained and following the test l was fitted with new aids ( NHS no charge ) all in all a positive and can l say enjoyable experience and would like to thank Hannah for her attention and advice… 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ service and a credit to the profession.. well done 👍
