Grass has been down a few weeks now. Great work by Emma on ordering and follow up and amazing watching Harry laying the grass, thank you both very much and looking forward to spring cutting in March 2024 🥰

Easy to quote and book - friendly installers - we had to wait 2 weeks from booking to installation. Our overgrown brown scrubland is now replaced by a nice green lawn, it’s wonderful to look out on, glad we got it done.

Poor. I knew in the weeks after my new lawn was lain that it wasn't up to standard. The drainage wasn't handled correctly, and it was retaining water immediately. The installers were in an enormous rush - in and out of the garden in under 2 hours! Emma at the company was disinclined to help out in any way, using the same excuse as others have reported: "it was fine when we left". This was disappointing. Needless to say, 4 years later my lawn is a boggy mess and needs re-laying.

Excellent value for money. Emma a great source of advice and support, The guys who laid the lawn were skilled and efficient. And the end product is exceptional.

We had an excellent experience with this company. Emma always replied to emails very promptly and kept us in touch with arrangements throughout. A very acceptable quote was provided online and the work was carried out carefully. The new turf looks great. Useful aftercare advice was given.

pre-sales service was pretty good to be fair. but installation was not good. When I asked them to return, all Emma said was it was fine when they left me and I'd have to pay for them to come back. I have been chasing for a month now and I doubt anyone will ever come. I'd be very grateful if they would.

Similar to the other poor reviews....
They do not do any ground preparation. They drop soil on and then turf, the whole process takes no time at all. Looks fine for a couple months. Then it starts to look really sad and sparse, like a bunch of dirt and a few blades of browning grass.
Similar to the other poor reviews, they will waste your time over email, asking for more and more pictures. When you tell them they quoted you ground prep and didn't provide ground prep (and provide proof in pictures), they have no excuse for this. They seem to just have fun dicking with you over email.
"The customer is always right" is definitely not within their business practices.
We can lift the turf up months later, it never established roots, as it was laid on top of clay and a thin layer of compost.
Appalling company.
I wish I could reply to the people who posted positive reviews and ask them what their lawn looks like now!
And why's it "Premier Turf" on trustpilot here, not "Lawn Turf Laying Co"? Almost like they don't want to be found. Not registered with trades, not on any social media. Very shady

We were recommended to the Lawn turf Laying company by family who had their lawn replaced by them some time ago. We went onto their website and got our quote that same day which was a price we found quite reasonable. The lady who then took our booking was very helpful and informative in answering all our queries. The installation day came and the landscaping team were superb, they were polite, kept social distance well, and worked really hard and efficiently to give us the stunning emerald green lawn we had hoped for. Very happy to recommend this terrific little company, if only more were like them.

The team that came this morning were brilliant. They took hardly any time at all, were really careful to minimise mess, talked us through what we needed to do to protect the lawn and made our garden look great.

From first finding them on the Internet, to the job being complete was do easy. Emma kept us informed as to the progress of our grass being laid. On the day, the guys were brilliant and friendly and before leaving, told us exactly how to look after our new lawn during its early days.

Appalling experience from start to finish. Worst experience with a company. Ever.

How I wish I had read these reviews here properly before I used this company! Yes there are some good reviews, but dig a bit deeper and you will find plenty of bad ones from people that have had exactly the same bad experience that I have had. I've had to delay my response to this company due to all the stress and trouble they have caused me.
August last year (2020) I had a new lawn laid. This was a gift for my 90th birthday from all my family, right down to my Great Gran children.
The lawn was duly laid by rotavating the old lawn and laying the new lawn on top. Alarm bells did start to ring when they were 25 turfs short (and blamed me!) even though I had given them correct measurements (don't expect them to come and measure up themselves). It took almost 3 weeks for them to lay the missing turfs.
I have to say that when it was finished it looked so lovely and nice and, I was extremely happy and proud of it.
A few months after being laid my lawn has turned into a complete DISASTER. The lawn is lumpy and bumpy all over with the grass dying out in patches.
All of my emails to them requesting help had negative delaying responses, ie; they want photos, then more photos etc.
They will not come and have a look for themselves, or have one of the lads on his way to other sites to check on the problem. You can't get to speak to them at all, its all by answerphone, then you get a reply by email. Their last email contained the following , I quote "a lawn is a natural changeable product which does require an amount of aftercare on your behalf or it will suffer, which unfortunately in this case it has."
They could never be so WRONG in this respect. I have followed all of their instructions to the letter.
In all my 90 years I've never come across a worse company. It appears they take your money then say it's your fault.
Other lawn laying companies have told me that you don't lay new turf on top of the old lawn even if it is rotavated, because that poor preparation leads to all of the problems that I now have.
I have paid a large sum of money to get a nice lawn to be proud of, but I now have a lawn that is actually WORSE than the old one and resembles an underground rockery! I now have to pay someone else to put right what I trusted this company to do right in the first place.
If you are thinking of getting a new lawn laid, my experience should tell you to LOOK ELSEWHERE.

From start to finish the communication from Emma was excellent. A price was quote which I was happy with. She contacted me to ask if they could come a few days earlier than planed which was fine by me .
The guys arrived in the morning and go straight to work. The area was rotavated and levelled then a good layer of top soil covered. The lawn they layer was a good quality grass and was soon laid. The guys cleared away swept the patio and path. They gave clear instructions on watering.
The lawn looks brilliant we are so pleased.
I would recommend this company to anyone who is looking to have a lawn laid.
