I’ve had a few acupuncture sessions with Deepa Morar, and they have been transformative and FANTASTIC - she really knows her stuff and takes the time to explain everything thoroughly - I’ve seen a vast improvement in pain management and functionality of my shoulder in just a few weeks - I’m extremely grateful to her, would recommend to anyone!

This is the worst clinic and professional experience that we have experienced in a developed country. The surgeon Ms Irune and her exhibited character and shallow clinical expertise is nothing but that of grifter. Her surgical skills are a grade F; to leave a patient in a far worse condition than before, was sad to observe. In addition, her lack of respect and condescending behavior to the patient was sickening. My mistake was choosing Irune on the Spire’s platform because I thought as a female, she would have compassion, empathy, and relate more to the patient, but boy I was wrong. This choice I regret, and looking back, I should have chosen a mature white male surgeon.
At one time when we hesitated to have her treat the patient, Irune and her secretary called us non-stop pleading that we should let them treat the patient, and that the patient was in good hands and Irune even said and I quote “I will treat the patient like my mother”. I guess the high hospital bills were too good for them to lose out on. Irune’s word is absolutely meaningless (no ounce of integrity). After they got paid tens of thousands of GBPounds, they performed ungradable and poorly executed surgery, and then their tune changed – absolute disgusting. These people are pure grifters. The only good experience relating to our time at the London Clinic (in central London) was with the kind and friendly nurses that tended to the patient.
This physician is classless, no compassion, full of bs, and worse off, her surgical skill is ZERO. In fact, the experiences with some of the surgeons that we encountered via the Spire Healthcare platform is ZEROp. Self-paying or even patients with insurance should avoid Irune and her Spire folks. They do not know what they are doing. They care about one thing – patients’ money. ZERO clinical or surgical knowledge. London clinic physicians should treat their patients with respect and regards. Perhaps they can learn something from the hardworking and caring nurses.

Rochelle was knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. The physio exercises she suggested all helped and she tailored them according to my feedback as my condition improved. I would highly recommend her.

I opted for private care primarily because I was terrified of undergoing a full abdominal hysterectomy and was drawn to the prospect of a laparoscopic (keyhole) procedure instead. The thought of traditional surgery had me in such distress that my glucose levels skyrocketed. My daughter found Dr. Saurabh Phadnis online, and after our first consultation, we felt reassured. Dr. Phadnis is a renowned expert working in top hospitals in London, and his confidence and personal attention gave me hope. He reassured me multiple times, both in person and over the phone, that keyhole surgery was possible for my case.
However, things took an unexpected turn on the day of the surgery. I had been assured that I would undergo a laparoscopic hysterectomy after a series of tests and assessments. I was also given the option of an abdominal hysterectomy through the NHS, but Dr. Phadnis assured me that the minimally invasive procedure was suitable for my condition, offering the promise of a faster recovery.
On the day of surgery, however, I was blindsided. Just an hour before the procedure, the anesthesiologist rushed in, barely asking any questions or reviewing my medical history, unlike the thorough pre-surgery consultations I'd had with the NHS in the past. What followed in the operating room was completely unexpected. I ended up undergoing both a laparoscopic and a full abdominal hysterectomy. During the surgery, my lungs deteriorated, leading to complications and a prolonged recovery process.
When I woke up in recovery, I was shocked to learn what had been done to me. I had not been mentally prepared for such an invasive procedure, and I was overwhelmed by the information. To make matters worse, my glucose levels remained extremely high for several days following the surgery.
While the London Clinic itself resembled a high-end hotel, the experience left much to be desired. The charges added up quickly—nearly £300 for antibiotics alone, £1500 a night, nearly £1000 for an MRi—and I felt that the service was more about the bottom line than patient care. If I had known I would end up with a full abdominal surgery, I would have opted for the NHS, where I would have received the same care and support without the added stress and cost. Due to complications and miscommunication, I stayed at the clinic for four days instead of the planned one. I underwent additional treatments, including blood transfusions, an MRI, and care for a severe lung infection, all of which extended my recovery further.
It took almost a year for me to feel like myself again. While Dr. Phadnis is clearly an accomplished surgeon, my experience was marred by a lack of clear communication and unexpected complications. I would advise others to be very clear about the specifics of their surgery and to question any changes to the procedure as thoroughly as possible.
In hindsight, I regret not choosing the NHS, where I felt better informed and less pressured throughout the process.

I had my physio for L4, L5 disc problem.the pain was quite severe at the time of starting physio. After 5 physio sessions by Deepa Marar, I started to feel absolutely better and pain reduced drastically from 9 to 4. Am still continuing stretches and exercises as suggested by Deepa and I guess this should reverse the disc problem forever. Thanks Deepa for making this possible with tailor made exercises. Deepa got vast 28 years experience and her physio suggestions worked out nicely.

I have been having physio/acupuncture with Deepa at The London Clinic for the last few months. Before I started I thought my back pain would never get any better but Deepa has made such a huge difference to the way I feel. I have been able to return to running, something I thought I would never do after my cancer diagnosis. I cannot recommend Deepa highly enough - she is amazing!!

It’s been a real eye-opener as we didn’t know this service existed. My physio, Amelia, has been so knowledgeable, helpful and understanding. I’ve been given takeaway homework to do which has helped, and so I feel all hope isn’t lost!
Thank you

I was trying to book a Brest scan without a referral as advertised on their website and they kept me for over 10 minutes on the line, I spoke with 5 different departments and at the end they were unable to help. They told me that I would need to book an entire Brest consultation package to maybe get a Brest scan at the end of it, and then they were unable to put me through the right person. I would not recommend wasting time with this clinic as they seem extremely disorganised.

Outstanding
I was referred to the outpatient clinics at 5 Devonshire Place and was incredibly impressed.
The reception staff in that department were all very friendly and helpful and easy to talk to.
But it was Jonathan in the Lung Function tests department who fully earned the full five starts of this review.
So kind, so patient, so thorough. Completely outstanding experience.
Thank you

However, this treatment has changed my life. I was unable to sleep at night as my legs were killing me and this treatment has allowed me finally sleep.
