They Over charge& Customer service is appalling

Whilst visiting the duty free shop on way back. We purchased some bottles from the whisky shop. The items were marked up for EU and Non EU prices. We explained we were travelling back to UK and proceeded to pay. Once we were back we double checked our receipt and noticed we had been charged EU price. Contacted their customer services which responded with reply asking for proof. Sent proof and have heard nothing back, having contacted them numerous occasions they have failed to respond. Customer service is shocking.

WH Smith are taking advantage of people in a hurry. Shame on you

The staff everywhere were really lovely. No fault there. However I went to buy a plain notebook to journal. WH Smith wanted E28. For a small note book. I ended up in the Guinness shop and got a fantastic one for E10.00. I also went to purchase a neck pillow in WH Smith. It said E36. And when I went to the till it scanned as E48.
There is no regulation for this and I asked and queried staff on same. You have to be super careful not to be ripped off by this company. I was going to buy a book to read but declined based on the over pricing and the blatant disregard for their customers by taking advantage of people in a hurry. Watch the price on the item verses the price on the till.
Again all staff including security/sanitary/shop Assistants were all very kind and very helpful. Shame on WH Smith.. watch out

I recently went travelling to Rome in…

I recently went travelling to Rome in November and I wanted to purchase a perfume in Jo Malone Store. I bought the product and realised I couldn't bring it on the flight over because of the size restriction of the bottle so I went back to put it through as a collection so i can retrieve it when I got back home. I was advised that I needed to put the payment through again for this option and I would be refunded for my first payment back on my card I used. 2 weeks later and I still have not received the refund and my bank have advised that there is no pending transaction on my card. I have sent emails and tried ringing the number to speak with someone but I have had no response in any form and cant get through to the number as no one is answering after ringing several times.

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. The most frustrating lack of customer insight I have experienced. Had I known that there was any chance that I wouldn’t be able to collect my order if my flight landed after 9pm I would never have opted for click and collect. Apparently I should have notified them that my flight was delayed despite never being advised that the click and collect is only open until 9pm. This was for a flight that I advised the sales assistants was landing at 8:10pm, so a distinct possibility I wouldn’t be in time to collect at 9pm but no, apparently it’s my problem and I am supposed to return to the airport to collect my order. Yes there are lockers but these are only for flights landing after 9pm and no they don’t put your order in a locker when they close at 9pm where it could be retrieved with a code sent to the mobile phone number they already have for you because……. no idea!!! Mind blown, genuinely the most frustrating sales experience I’ve had for several years. I complained but got nowhere and finally I asked to have my order cancelled. I will never shop with them again.

On Monday night I was at the…

On Monday night I was at the airport .it was 20.40 and all the shops were closed .I wanted to go to Boots ,Wrightsof Howth and to do some shopping .I actually was able to buy perfume at 21.38 and i got locked in with all the white panels that they put . it could have been a fake perfume
for all I know .No wrapping on the perfune just a bit of cellotape not good enoughT,he only place open was whsmith meal deal .
I am irish and shocked at this it was like covid days all over again ,There were painters there too
Most people that were on the midnight flight to athens were complaining .Capital city airport not good enough .NOT HELPING TOURISTS OR ECONOMY . Rude people

Exceptional Customer Service

Today these fabulous ladies ... Martina, Joanna, and Michelle went above and beyond to find a size shirt for my son ... they even went to a different terminal store to grab his size for his pullover here in Dublin.

Their exceptional service went way beyond our expectations closing out an awesome trip to Ireland !!!

Crazy Prices

On 22/04/24 I purchased 2 X 75ml bottles of Estée Lauder Knowing perfume at €89 each totalling €178. On my return from Spain I found the same perfume 75ml available at Malaga airport for €57. 🥴🥴🥴Never again.

Cork Airport Customer Service

I have made a complain for a disrepectful and humiliating way that a staff member of Cork Airport had with me on 29th November 2023. They said they will be in touch with me as soon as possible and today december 9th December 2023 I haven't got any response. It really seems this company does not care about any feedbacks and doesn't have any control over what's going on in their stores.

My complain follows as:

Today 29th November at The Loop Cork Airport, at 18:13, there where two tills available and the store had just few customers around.

I approached to one of the tills to pay my for my groceries, the till has got the queue barriers, but was basically empty so I didn't walked through all the long queue barriers, but walked directly to the till instead. The staff member in the till with a rude attitude didn't even responded to my greeting and asked me to go back and walk through all the queue barriers. This was so disappointing and disrespectful, since I was the only customer there. I had to walk all the way back and walk through to get to the same point where I was. After, I didn't understand what he was saying before paying and he raised his voice. The people that I was with were shocked of seeing how the guy was acting.

Hopefully he gets a proper feedback, since in terms of customer service this shouldn't have happened and mostly in an airport where you have to have soft skills to deal with hundreds of customers.

Surly staff

The staff in the Loop always seem to be in bad form. My recent visit was no different. I made a purchase with the sales adviser barely looking at me and didn’t even give me a bag. Seriously DAA, give your staff some training

Disappointed and Upset

There are of course some lovely staff but I've been upset by the way some staff treated me at tills at the Loop Dublin Airport terminal 1 and I travel alot and it's not a one-off. Some staff are rude, impatient and make me feel as if I'm an inconvenience. Not friendly at all eventhough I'm buying!. It just upsets me dealing with some of them. I won't buy anymore and it's stressful enough at Airports than to be met with unfriendly shop assistants while taking my money.

Placed an online order

Placed an online order, paid for it in full. All the items were available. The next day 4 items were canceled due to unavailability (according to the email received), whereas they were still avaliable for purchase online. Ok, not a big deal. Arrived at Terminal 1 for collection. Had a bad experience communicating with the Loop personnel. I'm generally not fond of situations when men treat women in an impolite or rude way. And that was one of such situations- an Irish man of about 45+ years old seemed to be very irritated by the fact I had an order for collection in addition to others things I was buying. Or maybe he was irritated by my appearance/personality/the very existence, etc. Anyways I think it's at least unprofessional and impolite to treat customers in such a manner. Very disappointed.

Excellent Online Customer Service …

Online customer service is just excellent. I emailed them saying I saw specific fragrance on the floor but couldn't see it online and they asked me if I want them to try to get it and leave it at the click&collect counter. They didn't have to do that but they did. And they were patient with my questions too. So I'm very happy with my shopping at the Loop. May I just mention Paulina and Adam. Thank you guys! 😊

RUINED CHRISTMAS FOR DAUGHTER

Purchased items for my daughters Christmas present and selected date and time slot to collect them, as was flying back from UK flooding a funeral. Yesterday had an email saying 1 of the 3 items had to be cancelled. Today had text message saying that I couldn't collect items as they were closing at 6pm and I'd booked 6.30pm as my flight was due in at 6.10pm. Absolute JOKE. Not only does their Booking System not know what items are in stock, it doesn't even know its own Opening Hours !! Daughter now in floods of tears for Christmas as she'd so been looking forward to getting this present. ABSOLUETLY SHAMEFUL & DISGRACEFUL SHAMBLES of a Company.
