We have been to this hotel often for…

We have been to this hotel often for lunches and afternoon tea, always we have been treated with politeness friendliness and curtesy.we went for lunch on Sunday the 12th of April. We were received by friendly staff that recognised us, treating us so very well, once again the food was delivered very quickly and was so very good. We are looking forward to our next visit, well done to the lowry and the wonderful staff. 10 out of 10.

Lovely luxury hotel that lets itself down a little

Lovely luxury hotel that you would expect as a 5*, however they let themselves down with a grubby little wheeze obviously designed to hoodwink guests into unwittingly having to spend a few extra quid. On entering the room you're greeted with a tray of goodies which on first instinct you imagine is part of the not inexpensive 5* experience, so you open the jar of chocolate covered raisins among the offerings but it is only after you have consumed a mouthful you notice on the front of the tray, not readily visible from head height and in carefully selected smaller print, a label advising that anything removed from the tray is chargeable. It is obviously a deliberate ruse trying catch out the less observant guest, is a bit of an insult to the intelligence, tarnishes their image, and leaves a slightly bad taste in the mouth

RUDE , ARROGANT ,CONCEITED

its the small things that matter especially when you book a 5 star hotel
there was far to many things to mention in this review so i will list just a few
the resteraunt evening service was laughable from bringing youre main before youre starter and waiting far to long for youre sides youre main was cold the list goes on we started betting on what they could do next
The breakfast wasnt any better once again bringing youre main before the porridge waiting 15 minutes for toast because they do the toast in the kitchen
As we left our room in the morning after our first night the maid was attending the room next door so we actually told her our room was free to clean
we arrived back at our room at about 5 pm to start to get ready to go out in the evening and the room had still not been attended to

we told A manager ( keiron ) who was very nice and noted our complaints

we arrived back that night to our room still nothing had been done

We then on departure asked to speak to the manager again and got ( the sunday morning manager whom i didnt get his name ) ive got to say ive never met such a conceited arrogant man in my life

when you have complaints whether it be 1 or MANY like we had you would possibly think you would be met with “hello i can see you have had some service thats not usual at the lowry and we apologise , but lets see what we can do to make it right

instead we got what must have been the ( the brand ambassador of you must be wrong because the lowry is faultless instead of customer relations )

ive got to admit i got very shall we say frustrated with this conceited individual which is not like me at all for which i appologise
i wish i had got his name but you know who you are the staff will certainly know who you are and the 3 other couples we spoke to also knew who you where after they had also had the misfortune to meet you with complaints

i hope YOUR manager reads this because the conceited rudeness you exhume is not what the lowry would want there customer relations manager 😂 to adopt youre arrogance and smirk would rub the pope up the wring way 1 ⭐️ is all you deserve the lowry hotel manchester
