Misleading, Uncomfortable, and Deeply Inappropriate Experience ———— I was assigned Natana Villa 3 through LuxeWeek for nearly $3,000, expecting a premium, relaxing experience. What I got was the complete opposite.

The villa had holes in the walls, peeling paint, and visible mold in the bathroom. It was infested with ants and lizards, making it impossible to rest or feel comfortable. The space felt dirty and neglected—a far cry from the “luxury” that was promised.

Even worse, there were disturbing images on the wall that appeared to depict enslaved people, which was extremely offensive and inappropriate. For a company marketing luxury, this was beyond shocking and unacceptable.

The included breakfast each morning was minimal and uninspired—two eggs, one slice of bacon, a quarter-sized hash brown, and a few pieces of fruit. Again, nothing about the experience felt thoughtful or premium.

I also had the chance to see several other villas during my stay—they looked nothing like mine. Those had elegant decor and a polished finish. My villa looked like it hadn’t been prepared or maintained at all.

Jake was terrible 🤮!!! To make matters worse, when I respectfully voiced my concerns, I was met with a dismissive attitude. Instead of addressing the issues directly, I was made to feel as though I was the problem. LuxeWeek implied that others on the trip had complained about me, attempting to shift blame rather than take accountability. It felt like an effort to silence valid criticism and avoid responsibility.

Also when I asked for reimbursement , I was told (by JAKE) insects are normal in a tropical environment and was blamed for not switching villas—even though I was offered another equally disappointing room. Their final offer was a $400 credit for a future stay, which I declined. I made it clear I would never book with LuxeWeek again.

This trip was meant to be a luxury getaway. Instead, I left feeling misled, disrespected, and disappointed. If you’re considering LuxeWeek, please do your research and proceed with caution. This experience was anything but luxurious.

While we strive to deliver a premium and memorable getaway for all of our guests, we understand that everyone’s experience is unique, and we take all concerns seriously.

To clarify, Villa Natuna 3 is one of our Premium Villas, and your assigned room was located within this premium category. The space features a beautifully designed en-suite bathroom with a mini indoor garden, offering a unique blend of nature and comfort—one of the highlights many guests appreciate. Given this open-concept layout and Bali’s tropical climate, the occasional presence of insects is natural and expected. The villa management team provides regular pest control and villa maintenance, but full exclusion in such an environment isn’t always possible.

Additionally, we shared detailed villa photos with all guests at least three weeks before the trip, including images of the available rooms, to set transparent expectations. The room you received was fully aligned with what was presented in those materials and consistent with our Premium Villa category.

Your main complaint—that your room lacked direct glass-door pool access—does not equate to false advertising. The room was fully compliant with our Premium Villa standards and in line with what you paid for. We regret that the aesthetic didn’t match what you personally envisioned, but that is not the same as being misled.

As for the artwork, we were surprised by your interpretation. The pieces in question were historical photographs of Balinese women in traditional attire—imagery that holds cultural and spiritual significance in Bali. To describe it as “offensive” or to compare it to depictions of enslavement is not only inaccurate but also disrespectful to the local culture. We urge all guests to approach cultural differences with understanding rather than judgment.

Thank you for your feedback, we understand that we were lacking in respect to breakfast. We have taken the necessary steps to make some improvements to the portion size, variety, and presentation to better align with guest expectations

Now, regarding your interaction with our team, we apologize if you felt dismissed. It was never our intention to invalidate your concerns. Our team—including Jake—aims to support guests throughout the week, and it’s unfortunate if communication left you feeling otherwise. However, this is where we must be particularly clear. You were offered the chance to view and switch to other available rooms early in your stay—an offer you ignored for several days. When you eventually chose to raise concerns, they were delivered in a highly confrontational and disrespectful manner, including shouting at our staff, which created a tense and uncomfortable environment for everyone involved.

Our team remained professional and accommodating throughout, despite being put in an extremely difficult position. We did everything possible to assist you, including extending a $400 credit as a goodwill gesture, which you explicitly declined. While we regret that the proposed resolution did not meet your expectations, we stand by the efforts made to support you during the trip.

At Luxe Week, we go above and beyond to create a memorable and premium experience for all guests. We are proud of the feedback we received from our other guests—many of whom had a wonderful time. While we regret that your stay did not reflect that same experience, we stand by the quality of our accommodations, the professionalism of our team, and the effort we put into resolving your concerns.

We genuinely regret that your trip did not reflect the Luxe Week standard experienced by so many of our guests, and we appreciate the opportunity to learn and grow from all types of feedback.

One of the best vacations of my life, from the fabulous hosts (shout out Christal) to the amazing strangers who became lifelong friends and to Balis magical land this is by far one of my greatest adventures.

What a whirlwind of emotions and…

What a whirlwind of emotions and experiences! One week is simply not enough to enjoy what Bali and the rest of Indonesia has to offer. The Luxe Week has made much of the planning easy for someone like me who really tries to maximize the most out of a trip. Not to mention, the hosts who made it all possible. Lois was assigned to our villa and has been an absolute champ! They all were! We (mostly me) fondly referred to them as our babysitters, because they had a tough job of keeping a bunch of adults on time for activities and catered to our needs. 100% would do it again and recommend to others.

Bali Vibes 🔥

This was an amazing experience from beginning to end! Like nothing I have ever experienced! S/O to Andy our host and all the other hosts who ensured we all had a great time!! The excursions were on point! The energy was alive and I couldn’t have asked for more! Can’t wait to travel with this group again!

Amazing Trip!

Host were kind, caring, very efficient, and so much fun! People of Bali are beautiful inside and out! I was a bit older than group but was made to feel welcome and did every activity planned !! They knew everything about the island and were very fast to answer. I will be going to Greece next year with Luxe week as well🩷

I want to start by giving a shoutout to my host Paco. He was amaaazing, patient, fun, and such a great human. For the itinerary itself it was well planned loved the activities and how it was not overbooked, there was enough time to wind down! One thing I felt bit upset
About was food. I am vegetarian and I informed beforehand about the food restrictions but I was basically hungry a lot of times because there was no alternative available. I hope this could be improved.

The host PACO WAS GREAT

The host PACO WAS GREAT! He went above & beyond to ensure our safety & comfort! He helped make the trip and is A GREAT REPRESENTATIVE FOR LUXE! If you are doing Luxe -see if he will be your host. I will next time I go with them!

The staff was excellent

The staff was excellent. The nightclubs and events were 10/10 lit. Most fun I had on vacation for sure. Try not to eat outside of the the lux week food. I didn’t have any issues but I heard of some in my group of 50. Highly recommend this experience. Would love to do it again one day!

Luxe week was amazing

Luxe week was amazing! I really enjoyed the itinerary of activities and all of the places we got to go. There were last minute changes to our villa due to some overbooking, but our host Dani was very communicative and helpful. She was super sweet and was also a great resource for suggestions on places to go or things to do in our down time.

Jump on this opportunity

I think the best part about going to Bali was the people and having Luxe coordinate all the events. You can go ATVing, clubbing, and do the touristy things all by yourself. But to have 70 to a 100 people with you just improves the overall experience. I had 3 other awesome people with me in my Villa and we vibed instantly. Our host, Tita, was so awesome and made sure we were taken care of. I highly recommend doing this trip because you will make 8 days of incredible memories. Luxe will make sure you get to the events, get you VIP into the clubs, and provide you with the best recommendations for food and sightseeing.

My only recommendations are to bring only positive vibes and to plan your trip to have a few days before and after your Luxe week. You’re not going to want to leave.

The Nights I'll Never Remember with the People I'll Never Forget.

Man, what a week it was. I travel a lot and needed a break from having to plan everything. I was a little skeptical at first to book because it looked too good to be true but I'm glad I did. And, this is why I'm writing this review, Book the trip.

The party started way before we touched down in Bali because you get to meet your future friends through social media before the trip. From day one, after the all white party, one thing I remember we were all saying was, I can't believe this is day 1, feels like we've known each other for weeks.

The hosts were all amazing, sweet and very helpful. I wish I knew all their names to add here but a special shoutout to my villa host Lois, who was a vibe from the moment I met her. Elly, who immediately became my favorite person, Christal and Louis who were great vibes. In general, everyone at Luxe Week was amazing. And I want to return to Bali just because of them.

Just a FYI, please read everything they send you because some people complained about it not being all inclusive regarding food and drinks but it does say that they only provide breakfast everyday and the rest is up to you. So, be mindful that you will be responsible for your lunch, dinner, and drinks at venues.

Luxe Week was an amazing experience

Luxe Week was an amazing experience. I’ve gained lifelong friends and couldn’t be more excited about the memories we share. Though all adventures were amazing, I wish I had more details on what each would intel. Some of them required way more physical ability that I realized. I also did not understand why I paid for pics that everyone got anyway. Despite that, Christal (my host) was AMAZING!! She was so responsive, helpful and kind. She made the experience smooth and I could not ask for a better host!! She left no stone unturned. And she even was a huge personal support on the adventures. Love, love her!!

Had a great time and the Hosts are…

Had a great time and the Hosts are wonderful! I would definitely recommend Luxeweek to anyone who loves meeting new people and being in a social environment. One thing that is a personal preference is I would like to see next time is a day maybe dedicated to meeting more of the locals and getting to see the Balinese culture but all and all still very fun and a great experience!

the perfect getaway!!

My trip to Bali with TLW was just phenomenal. The staff went above and beyond for us, the itinerary will be unforgettable and last but not least, our lovely hosts Lois and Gabi were the best anyone can ask for being genuinely friendly, helpful and super informative when it came to any sort inquiry. The whole week was amazing

The whole week was amazing! The villas are amazing and the staff are amazing and sooo sweet. I miss having breakfast ready for me every morning.

Lois and Gabi are the best hosts ever and they made the whole trip so much fun! I’m already dying to go back to Bali.

Hopefully I’ll be back again next year 😊😊.
