Bought slides for 250 USD.
UPS supposed to deliver them. They contacted me before the delivery to request the commercial invouce as apparently TLC did not sent it with the order.
And this is where the problems started. Days after days, after days I was assured by the TLC customer service that they will provide UPS with the docunent but UPS kept bugging me they are missing this information.
After all the invoice was provided and UPS attempted to deliver my 250$ slides but to my shock, they wanted me to pay 340$ upon delivery. I checked and the customs dutues/tarrifs, whatsoever would be no more than 10% of the value which would be 25 USD. There is no way any taxes, fees are more than the item itself! I contacted again the TLC customer service and told them this, to which they started telling me that customs duties are my respinsibility. Yes, i agree, but for 10% of tge value, not 150% of the value of the item.
Again they started assuring me day after day that this will be taken care of. Well, it wasn't and I told UPS that I refuse to accept the item and they need to return it to the sender.
I contacted multiple times, the luxury closet to ask them when will they issue my refund as already 1.5 MONTHS after placing the order has passed and they told me they won't refund me until they receive the item back?! How exactly this is my fault that they haven't received it yet if the item was never even in my possession??
2 months after i placed the order, I finally filed a dispute with my financial institution regarding the refund and thanks to that, ai received all my money back. Other wise, I am sure, up to this date they would assure me of bull*hit and I wouldn't be refunded!! Beware of the Luxury closetvif you don't want to be on my place and waste your nerves and money!

I would reccomend not purchasing from this store!!!
I spent over $1400 on a pair of Chanel sneakers and they looked off when they arrived. The stitching was off, there are visible glue marks and the Chanel stamped on the sole has very obvious imperfections. I had the shoes authenticated and returnd a result as 'Fake'. I sent this certificate to The Luxury Closet who then replied trying to tell me that the item is in fact authentic, despite the issues. To the untrained eye you can clearly see issues.. so how this made this passed their in house 'trained' authenticators is beyond me. Do yourself a favour and DO NOT BUY

The Luxury Closet has become a complete disaster of a company — misleading prices, zero accountability, and shameless treatment of loyal customers.

I tried to purchase an item listed at 8,000 AED. At checkout, I was charged 10,500 AED. When I complained, they admitted it was a “technical error” — in other words, false advertising — but still refused to honor the price. Instead, I was told “sorry” and left 2,000 AED out of pocket. The item continued to be displayed at the lower price on their website even after I flagged it.

When I asked to cancel, I was told the item was non-refundable. The other product I wanted — which was still advertised as available — was suddenly “unavailable.” A total bait-and-switch.

A few days later, I found another piece listed at 8,500 AED. To avoid another scam at checkout, I confirmed with customer service first. Their representative (Mirna) admitted the same story again — “mispriced” — and said the real price was 9,500 AED. No apology beyond “sorry,” no resolution, no goodwill discount. Just another blatant price hike.

This isn’t a one-off mistake. These “errors” are thousands of dirhams off — often 20% higher at checkout — and always the customer’s problem, never theirs.

I have been a buyer since they opened, spending years with this company, and not once has management reached out or shown any decency. Instead, customers are left feeling conned.

The Luxury Closet is running on false advertising, broken systems, and zero customer respect. They have permanently lost my trust, and I will make sure other shoppers know exactly how they operate.

Great selection, great prices, and fast shipping. Will definitely buy from The Luxury Closet again. If you plan on purchasing and are based in the US, I suggest calculating the additional duties prior to purchasing. In addition to duties, additional carrier fees will be assessed. That said, I still feel like I got a great value.

I bought a Jil Sander bag for 250$ paid $50 in import duties into Canada which is to be expected. Bag came as described authentic! I was surprised I thought for sure would be a fake. So yah I would shop here again! Recommend!

This is my first and last order with this company. I have had one issue after the other regards to their business process and tactics. As all businesses use some sort of strategy to attract consumers that's very well understood, but literally having too many questionable occurrences becomes overwhelming to the point explanations when speaking with representatives and being told inquires are found on there products page knowing customer's don't typically feel it necessary to read product pages. First off, as a customer it's not standard practice to read product pages and for every instance being redirected to read product pages to find business processes is unbelievable. To top that off, if your on the phone speaking with a customer service representative directly regarding charges you would think if a customer is requiring about an order this information would be provided to you as a customer such as any additional fees that will be assessed addition to a purchase especially being internationally instead of finding out additional fees will be the responsibility of the customer after the order has been placed and upon delivery.

Overall, my experience has truly not been the best with The Luxury Closet as noted above and as well as other instances of which choose to no longer make any purchase with this company due to so many problems I have encountered being a new customer.

I’ve bought two pieces from Luxury Closet and plan to buy again. The items shipped very quickly. When I had issues with US customs, I reached out the Luxury Closet team and not only did they respond the next day, they continued to monitor the situation with customs until it was resolved. They were so helpful and it made me feel better that they were actively monitoring what was happening.

Have ordered bags twice and have got genuine products in great condition. Delivery to Oman is very fast as well.

In the past, I had done well finding designer pieces on sale in Southeast Asia, and The Luxury Closet has helped me continue that. I’ve purchased clothing and shoes for both work and special occasions like weddings, and the shoes in particular really elevated my outfits.

On two occasions, I had to return items—once a dress and once a pair of shoes that didn’t fit—and the return process was straightforward and hassle-free. My only drawback as a Canadian customer is the extra customs fees, which adds to the cost. Still, I value this company’s model of giving high-end fashion a new life, and I’ve been consistently happy with the quality and service.
