Excellent service from Phil Shearer and Rebecca Dingwall. Communication was timely and clear and the process very smooth (despite my situation having some less straight forward factors). I got in contact with The Mortgage Broker Scotland during a particularly stressful time. My application through another (no fee broker) was rejected. At this point, the broker I was using became quite unhelpful and I felt a bit deserted. After months of searching, I had finally had an offer accepted and this mortgage issue made me think I was going to lose out on the purchase.

I did some online reading and got in contact with The Mortgage Broker Scotland. My broker (Phil) couldn’t have been more helpful and reassuring. He called me on a Saturday and has emailed me on Sundays too.

The process of applying was much easier and felt less invasive. He had an excellent knowledge of lenders I hadn’t even known existed. And ultimately he got me a much better rate with a lender, and a decision in under three weeks.

I couldn’t be more happy. The small fee really is just that. I’d honestly pay it again for any remortgaging because the service was second to none, and the rate ended up being better anyway. Strongly recommend and a huge thanks to Phil!

Easy simple process with excellent help and guidance from Louise especially when interest rates changed in the middle of the process and product was withdrawn from the lenders.
