Non Existent Customer Service

Since they were bought out in 2016 the quality is not the same! Also ZERO customer service. They don't answer the phone and they dont return voicemails. They dont send email order confirmations so if you lost your invoice you dont have an order number for returns. One of the three shirts I bought was the wrong size so im trying to exchange it. No way to contact them.

Don't waste your time.

Great Shirts! When they aren't defective. Miss print issues twice in a row. Zero help from customer service. Like, none at all because i never once was able to speak to anyone over the course of sending emails and calling for over 2 weeks. Don't waste your money here. If somethings wrong with your order you're not gonna get it fixed.

I am a first-time customer

I am a first-time customer. I was planning on ordering nine t-shirts. I reached out via email and left several voice messages (don't bother calling; you will be redirected to leave a message in their abyss of messages that are not returned).

I then emailed, and when I finally got a response, it was not the assistance I was looking for.

If their unresponsiveness and lack of human touch at this point are indicative of how The Mountain handles business, I cannot even imagine how returns or errors are handled. I am not willing to risk spending $315.00.

Doing business should not be this difficult. Time to move on.

VERY DISCOURAGED

I have been a loyal cusomer for years.
In my recent order I was missing a shirt.
I have contacted the company several times via e-mail and customer service phone.

Used to shop with this company before takeover

I so used to shop from these guys and got free shipping if I paid over $100. I live in UK. Sadly since they were taken over, they now charge at least $35 to ship. What a rip off. Sad as I loved their tshirts now cannot get anymore. :(

The Mountain does not care… Worthless Merchandise.

I have been ordering from The Mountain since they opened. I had a few issues through the years and never complained. After my last four orders > $1000 I have to give then a -5 stars. They used to have quality shirts, even after they dumped American manufacturers, their items were 'usually' ok; with the occasional issue of sizing. However, the last four orders have been atrocious. I wear a M-XL, my wife a F-LG. I ordered appropriately for orders -4 & -3. My wife inherited all of my shirts and hers were given away to children. Order -2 I increased our sizes to M-2XL and F-XL, again my wife inherited all of my shirts and gave half of hers to charity as they again were too small. Order -1 ordered 3XL for myself and out of 10 shirts I could wear 3. The other seven became sleep shirts & wearables for my wife (L-Lrg).
I contacted The Mountain and asked that my account be deleted as I will NEVER order from them again - no acknowledgement. If you want quality merchandise - shop elsewhere. They provide sub-standard merchandise and their CS does not care.

I’ve had about 50% of the T-shirts from…

I’ve had about 50% of the T-shirts from The Mountain as of the past few years the print comes off within about three months. I have one T-shirt now that still holding up pretty good. I’ve had it for about a year. The ones that were made 20 years ago, I found it a thrift store and bought them for cheap and the print lasted much longer so they definitely changed whatever they’re using to create the prints the older ones from 20 years ago. We’re much more vivid in color and lasted for up to 20 or 30 years.

Wrong size

I ordered a youth large from the mountain and they send me an adult large . I called them I emailed them any number that I could find for the mountain I called and either left a message because well they don't answer the phone they don't answer you even when they send you an email it's computer generated . They used to be a great company I mean I used to do business with them when they were still brick and mortar they had a store in a mall outside of Buffalo but now forget about it , not only can't they read but they can't read with pictures because the shirt that I ordered had a picture of a little girl with the shirt on . I bought a raccoon face shirt for my older niece about 7 or 8 years ago and she loved it no problem with anything but you try to get something from them today and it's a real circus . I don't want to sound too angry because I know how sensitive everybody is today and I don't want to put the company in in a coma but they ruined Christmas between me and my my niece my favorite niece . Hopefully I can go out and find something for her it's hard to do because well I have COPD . That's the only reason I even buy anything online because I love going out meeting people the old-fashioned way you can touch the item you can try it on you can know if it's a cheap piece of garbage or not . I only hope that it isn't going to be just as hard trying to get my money back . Sincerely very unhappy customer

I have not done business with them for…

I have not done business with them for a couple years...and it looks like things are getting bad. My first shirt with their brand was bought in about 1992. Was the best shirt I ever owned until it was lost in a house fire in 2019: that's right, I keep my stuff that long! So, after the house fire I went back to them to replace hundreds of dollars in merchandise. HUGE disappointment. Within months the Ts had holes in them, and the printing is flaking off. So very sorry to see such a great product go down the drain

Don't buy here!

I bought some shirts from this company a few months ago. They only sent me two of the three shirts I ordered, without message in the box, nothing. It was only after I reached out to the customer service a week later that they refunded me for the missing shirt that was evidently sold out.
Because everybody deserves a second chance,
I ordered a bundle of two sweatshirts FOUR weeks ago, and they are not even shipped yet! I reached out multiple times to the customer service and they keep telling me 'to be patient'.
More than four weeks to ship an order has nothing to do with being patient, it means you're selling something you're not able to deliver.
I will never order from this company again. I feel scammed.

It's alright. Could have been better

It's alright. The cotton shirts I enjoyed acceptably, but then I decided to try their Triblend shirts consisting of 55% cotton, 25% rayon, 20% polyester.
The expectation was cut short honestly. I would mind a margin error of 5% in relation to the photos they showed of how the shirt looks, but I simply feel disappointed after receiving it in person.
The Triblend shirts don't look as good as the photo or even near it in comparison to the cotton shirts.
They do feel comfortably and lighter, but what image you represent as the product you sell should also reflect in person when purchased and received.
And for the higher price I expected better.

Heavy 100% cotton, beautiful graphics exactly as pictured.

Just got my fourth mailorder from The Mountain.
I started buying for the graphics and was very pleased to find they are high quality heavyweight shirts, not the thin half polyester stuff that is increasingly the norm. The graphics have all been perfect and exactly as seen in the ad photos. My first Mountain shirts were bought in an actual store; I still have them after more than 10 years, they are still in good shape and I still wear them. I've never had a graphic crackle or chip off even after 10 years of washing. One time there was a problem with something I ordered (ended up out of stock), and their customer service responded to my query immediately. They also have frequent sales and deals. By far the best teeshirt company I've ever bought from; I highly recommend.

No longer a good company

This used to be a company that sold quality products. Last year I ordered a couple t-shirts at $30 a pop. These were honestly the same quality you would find at the dollar store. They advertise no Plastisol...bullcrap. These shirts were covered in it to the point of flaking.
So I gave them another chance. It took them almost a month to send me a mug I ordered. Lo and behold, it arrives poorly packaged and broken. Quelle surprise. We'll see how long it takes them to respond. Mail order companies in the 80s had a better response rate than these fools.

Either a scam, absolutely no customer service

Failed to ship my items after four weeks. I reached out to the company multiple times and received absolutely no response. I had to have the third party payer I used reverse the orders. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE
