An absolutely brilliant night out. Highly recommend. Bring a cushion…you’re sat for a long time. Temperature can fluctuate so layer up!!
Marley was a star behind the bar with his lollipops.

So far an amazing experience! Super informative and entertaining !
Absolutely amazing
Absolutely amazing. Such a great atmosphere and very exciting. Would highly recommend anyone who is in to murder mystery etc to take part!!!
Really well organised cleverly thought…
Really well organised cleverly thought out event! The staff/actors were all fantastic! The high tea was delicious and there was plenty of it, with hindsight we could have shared one as there was a lot of food for one person. The chairs were a little uncomfy for such a long show. Wasn’t keen on the smoke machine as it wasn’t really necessary. Take a large bottle of water with you as it’s £4.95 for a bottle there and they are unable to provide tap water. Other than that it was a very interesting show.
Really good concept
Really good concept. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Actors were really good, was comical at times to lighten the mood.
Was a little packed in which made it difficult to speak to your jury table but was a great idea, well ran. Would definitely attend another. Would have been great to have some good options there like a food truck to buy something to eat from but aside from that was greayb
Gripping and insightful
Really thorough, exciting and gripping. Will be leaving a further review at the end 😊 please put me forward for the foreperson. Chloe McCloud thank you

False advertising for the 'included' high tea!
Loved the experience & was all ready to book for next year's Ripper. However, I find the advertising to be very misleading - the website is still showing the high tea to be included in the ticket price but, after i emailed them to check, the reply from Chloe states that is not the case?
Think a lot of people, like myself, will book expecting to receive the promised high tea & be disappointed on the day!
This company is terrible customer…
This company is terrible customer service I've been waiting 2 months for a refund still haven't received it when I phone they give you the same excuse your status is yellow/green/blue or whatever very very poor
Just got back from the London…
Just got back from the London experience. Overall a really enjoyable afternoon. The trial is very thought provoking and it was good seeing how other people round the table gave their opinions
The downside is the seating situation it would work so much better with round tables. And it would be good to have food options to buy I know there was a high tea option to purchase beforehand
But in the booking we saw street food mentioned but didn't realise it was just nachos and popcorn.
I was apprehensive after reading the reviews but I have to say I did enjoy it so don't be put off
Exciting Experience
Went to Murder trial live in London. As someone who has not been summoned for a Jury panel yet I found it to be a great experience. The power of having someones fate in your hands can be quite nerve racking. I work in the Criminal law field and I have to say this is spot on. The behaviour of some of the witnesses is spot on, even to the detail of how they speak into the microphone. I would recommend this experience to anyone who is interested in what happens in a murder trial.
Pricey, but great fun!
Don't be put off by the negative reviews. Overall, a really fun experience, slightly detracted from by organisational niggles. Go into it with the right mindset and engage fully with the play and your jury table, and you'll have a fun and thought provoking night.
Pros:- great acting, and really fun concept. I'll even turn a blind eye to the judge's archaic full wig, and the even less accurate fully working cvp video evidence 😆
Cons:- It would be be better in a venue with more gravitas (and better toilets) such as a town hall rather than the tent, and the jury notebook in the program really should be included in the £60 ticket price. Seats can be uncomfortable - bring a cushion!
Also, the info comms before were riddled with errors and could be alot more helpful - e.g. link for more info just takes you back to the ticket page, directions link for London venue still linked to the Portsmouth venue - very confusing! Also, the ShowTour events Facebook group referred to in the emails doesn't exist - the offers for bar tabs etc are on the page for the Murder Trial Live.
GREAT EXPERIENCE IN HENDON
Great show today in Hendon. We had read the negative comments and wondered what it would be like. Our table of jurors were spot on with comments. on Acting good, loved the music during the intervals and staff pleasant. Hi tea was ok but could be much cheaper than 25 quid each
Hot and Bothered
We went to the show at Portsmouth on a very hot day. The event is held in an inflatable tent, with only two open entrances in the main area where the show is, no air con or fans to help with the increased heat, which only increased as the venue filled up with people. The tables of twelve were quite crowded and the seats were close together, as other people have said the chairs were very uncomfortable. We ordered the High Tea for £25.00, please don't bother, it is not value for money. We also had taken our own drinks with us, being menopausal we can overheat a drop of a hat! I had a bottle of Tango which was confiscated and I could pick after the show had finished. I was not impressed with the attitude of the staff member, nor could I see any where to get water, unless purchased from the venues bar. Our show was at 12.00 and at 12.20 an announcement was made to say that the show would start in another 20 minutes. So we left, the heat was just too much, seats were uncomfortable and after having my drink taken away I was concerned that I might have become ill. It is a shame really, as we were looking forward to the performance as the reviews regarding the actual show have been very positive, it is just a shame that the company and staff running it aren't as good.
Don’t waste your money!
The actors delivered impressive performances, but unfortunately, that's where the positives ended for me. The high tea was not worth it—the tables were far too small for twelve people, and the drinks were overpriced (£4.50 for water?!). On a very hot day, the blow-up tent was almost unbearable.
Midway through the show, the audience was bribed with alcohol in exchange for good reviews, which makes me question the authenticity of the glowing feedback. Additionally, the voting process was disappointing; I believe individual votes would have been better than the table jury discussions, especially given how hot it was, which made it difficult to engage in the necessary debates to avoid a hung jury. Ultimately, we left without knowing whether he was guilty, making the conclusion feel anticlimactic and leaving me wondering, “What was the point?”
Parking for £15 on a school site is also excessive.
There are other companies offering much better experiences for significantly less money. I wouldn't waste your time or money here.
Portsmouth Show
We went to the show in Portsmouth on Friday 9th August.
The show itself was very good and entertaining. The actors did an amazing job. Well done to them.
But!
Finding our table was difficult as the tables were not set out in the same way as the seating allocation on the map. I spent a while picking the table and seats so was disappointed. However, more disappointing was the fact that the tables were half the size of that advertised so we had to balance everything on our laps. very uncomfortable!
We also had the classic high tea at a cost of £25 per person and thought even accounting for venue prices, this was worth £15 at best.
