Excellent customer service

I bought some gloves for my son’s Xmas in the back Fri sale, which unfortunately turned out to be a little small. I requested to Exchange them. However due to Xmas and black Friday their normal delivery and responses were a little slower than usual so by the time customers service got back to me and I resent the gloves back etc, it looked like I wasn’t gong to receive them in time for Xmas. Having reached out to the team again explaining they were for a Xmas present they were so helpful going above and beyond to track the order and re send the gloves by next day delivery so my son wouldn’t miss out and get them in time for the big day. For a small business in such busy times they really made the effort. My son loves these gloves and can’t wait for him to see the new ones, such a cool design and amazing quality gloves. Thanks again.

No control over stock

Possible to buy gloves that are not in stock - no control over delivery - missing x-mas present for my son.
Ordered on November 30, got an update on December 2 that they stock ran out and have to await, still no delivery on December 23th. They took the money on December 12 before sending the gloves (probably not legal!)

We're genuinely sorry to read this, and we completely understand why you’re disappointed. Missing a Christmas present for your son is the last thing anyone wants, and we can see how stressful this has been for you.

To clarify a couple of points: when you placed your order at the end of November, the gloves were shown as available, but we experienced an unexpected stock issue which we notified you about on December 2. We produced an emergency batch and as soon as the stock arrived with us, your order was dispatched on December 16 using our standard tracked international service. Payment was taken at the time of placing the order, which is in line with our normal process.

Unfortunately, once parcels leave the UK, international carriers and customs can cause delays that are outside our control, especially during the Christmas period. That doesn’t make the situation any less frustrating, and we're truly sorry the timing didn’t work out for your son’s gift.

This isn’t the experience we aim to give, and your feedback about delivery expectations and stock communication is taken seriously. If you’re open to it, we’d really like to continue helping you directly and find the best possible resolution once the parcel arrives.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, even though it’s a tough one.

Gloves are very keenly priced so as a consumable they are not surprisingly doing well in the UK market. Free pair after you build up so many loyalty points, happy days.

Style variations not the greatest but you have to sacrifice something to get to a price point. Endorsements from PL GKs so the quality is there. I had a customer service issue and Shannon dealt with my query promptly and efficiently.

I ordered the wrong size gloves twice & One Glove were quick the send out the replacement. Unfortunately Evri lost the last pair of returned gloves but One Glove still honoured my purchase & arranged another pair. Great service & communication from Shannon.

Very let down...

Very let down...

Ordered 30th November for Black Friday, with given delivery timescale of 3-5 days.

17 days later and still not despatched...

I had to contact company, who didn't get back to me for 2 days, to be told that the free gift offered at Black Friday was out of stock and delaying despatch; and all affected orders were sent an email to communicate issue which would be in my Junk folder

I received no email in Inbox or Junk folder...

Offered 15% discount off NEXT order - which I will not be making

Told order will definitely be shipped before Christmas

I need it DELIVERED before Christmas

There's a simple rule in sales:

"Don't overpromise and under-deliver"

Don't offer a free pair of gloves and then risk the original order because you can't deliver what you promised.

All impacted customers were notified of this with a priority production run put in to ensure customers receive all their items before Christmas, along with a complimentary discount code.

FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE

We have bought a number of gloves from One Glove, all have been great. Unfortunately one pair split along the seams.

The Customer Service from One Glove has been fantastic, the faulty gloves have been replaced without any issue.

We would highly recommend One Glove

I’ve bought so many different styles of…

I’ve bought so many different styles of gloves for my son - he likes gloves to match his kits! All have lasted months with training 4 times a week and matches , every day at school and practicing every evening after school. His a tad obsessed! Couldn’t recommend this company enough! Great styles and great communication!

Big let down,while the products may be…

Big let down,while the products may be good the customer service is poor.I ordered gloves and paid for them as the delivery time specified was what I wanted.Only after paying I received an email stating because of Black Friday the free gift element was causing delays and they would wait until both items were together before posting.I stated that I was not concerned with free gift and could they please just send the gloves I paid for,they agreed but the goods still weren't received until even after their initial delay.I feel fobbed off by lame excuses,they offered a 15% discount of my next order,I am afraid they will be waiting a long time before I use this company again.

I think there may be some confusion as the team did not agree to split the shipment, they are unable to do this due to the allocated stock and documentation within our third-party-logistics provider not allowing changes once prepared. Which means they needed the fresh batch of DRK-CELLs to complete fulfilment.

Once again our apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Fantastic quality

Fantastic quality. My son will only wear these gloves. He trains and plays for 3 different teams and these gloves have seen him through. Hard wearing but excellent grip and the best comfort!

I am extremely happy with my purchase…

I am extremely happy with my purchase from The One Glove. The gloves feel amazing, have excellent grip, and fit comfortably. You can tell they are made with real quality.

I also want to highlight their customer service — absolutely brilliant! I had a minor issue with one pair, and they responded immediately and arranged a replacement straight away, without even asking me to send anything back. Very friendly, fast, and supportive team.

The One Glove truly stands behind their products. I highly recommend them to any goalkeeper looking for reliable, top-quality gloves.

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. Gloves ordered initially with no issues (or so we thought). You have to pay £5 delivery and realised we were charged £2.50 as a "delivery guarantee" which is easily missed.

The gloves arrived and they were too big for our son so we arranged a return/replacement pair. Had to spend another £5 to return via Evri. Turns out Evri lost the parcel and after 7 days of tracking One Glove issued a refund and told us to re-order some new gloves.

We were refunded £28.99 from our original order that cost us £41.48! It's not a large sum of money lost, but it comes down to the principal. Why should I be out of pocket when ordering a replacement?

I will absolutely never order from this company again and will certainly not be recommending this company to anyone!!!

So to help explain, the £5 delivery fee is to cover the shipping - most eCommerce stores will charge a fee for shipping. Unfortunately we do not offer free shipping.

The £2.50 delivery guarantee is an optional shipping guarantee offered and shown in-cart as well as in checkout. It is a popular service we offer that is particularly beneficial at this time of year - essentially in the event the parcel goes missing or suffers from theft/damage, we send a replacement immediately instead of having to go through your typical investigation or parcel claim which would delay things.

The £5 return fee is just to cover the pre-paid returns label that we are charged - this is also completely optional and can be sent manually with another service if the customer prefers. But we offer this as it means the label is 100% correct, fully tracked for convenience and in the event a parcel goes missing you are fully covered as that is on us.

As an independent brand punching up at the bigger guys with much smaller profit margins (i.e. charging a third of what they do) we are unable to refund shipping costs.

I had an excellent experience with the customer service team, especially Kallie. She was incredibly helpful, quick to respond, and kept me fully informed throughout the whole process. Even when there was an issue with stock, she handled everything professionally and made sure my main order was processed straight away.

Her communication was clear, kind, and genuinely reassuring. It’s rare to receive customer service that feels this personal and attentive, and I really appreciate the effort she put in to help.
