Fraudulent web site to get your credit card info.

Fraudulent web site. Ordered a shirt and suddenly had multiple charges to my credit card to Ant.Merco in HongKong. Soon after alerted by bank of additional fraudulent charges on my credit card to Walmart.com etc. Had to cancel credit card. Avoid TheoryFactoryStore.com like the plague!!!

Fraudulent Website

I can confirm this is a fraudulent website based in Hong Kong. Was definitely too good to be true. I had to contest charges with my credit card and I reported it to the FTC and Google.

scam alert - TheoryFactoryStore - same experience as the other person…

same experience as the other person that wrote about TheoryFactoryStore.com - this is a warning about a scam website impersonating theory inc...

the site theoryfactorystore.com is not legitimate. i made a purchase and was immediately scammed. i reported the transaction to paypal and they investigated and stopped the payment.

there were several red flags. the customer service email uses a generic domain that does not match the brand. the paypal payment was sent to a private individual instead of theory inc. scam detection sites flag the domain as high risk with very low trust scores.

the domain was recently registered, the owner information is hidden, and the charge came from an individual in latin america. this site is not affiliated with theory inc. avoid it and report it if you have already purchased.

Scam Alert: TheoryFactoryStore.com

I've made the purchase on the website TheoryFactoryStore.com and I was immediately scammed. I reported it with PayPal and they investigated and stopped the transaction. This is a warning for other users. Here is what I reported:
- Uses a generic customer service email (under domain: 24-hourservice.com) that does not match the brand or website domain
- Payment red flag: PayPal payment was sent to a private individual instead of the advertised business (“Theory Inc.”)
- Flagged as high-risk by scam detection sites, showing very low trust scores and phishing/suspicious warnings
- Recently registered domain with no established history, a common pattern for scam or fake outlet stores
- Website owner identity is hidden (WHOIS privacy), unlike legitimate brand retailers that disclose company details
