Considering the niche aspect of delivering Arab wine, I’m genuinely surprised by how good these wines taste. The stories in the magazine are very interesting giving a background to the history of Arab wines. Would love to see this expand beyond the current borders of the Middle East and North Africa. Both in terms of beverages and stories. Highly recommended.

I don’t drink but I love the other grape! I bought a subscription for my wine crazy partner and it’s gone down a treat. She loves the wine and I enjoy reading the magazine - some real great journalism and personal stories. Something a little different. Highly recommended.

Purchased as a gift for my wine loving grandad, the wines arrived quickly and securely packaged. Being able to enjoy a lesser known wine whilst learning about its origin is a unique experience and one I don’t think you can get anywhere else. A smart idea excellently executed. Will definitely be trying again in future!

I am not a person who normally takes risks when it comes to wine but on this occasion I was intrigued by the thought of wine from the Middle East and I am truly thankful that I did leave my comfort zone these wines are are superb and I will be returning for more.

The Other Grape is a good idea and really well executed! I was looking to get a gift for a friend who loves his wine, but wants to try more unusual and lesser well-known bottles. He was blown away! The magazine was really the icing on the cake, giving fantastic backstory and context to the wine. My experience online and including a personalised message was very smooth. Well done to the whole team, I'll certainly be coming back for more.

The Other Grape has opened my eyes and taste buds to the stories and flavours of southern Mediterranean wines. As both a scholar of postcolonial memories and a lover of good quality wine, I have appreciated becoming familiar with the narratives of Algerian and Lebanese grapes, which tell a tale on the tongue from deep aromatic red to fresh resilient white. Meursault meets Mascara and the Alsace region meets the Bekaa Valley in The Other Grape.

The wines arrived carefully packaged and on time, with a well designed magazine full of interesting and considered content, as well as a discount voucher for my next purchase! What more would you want?

I've never tasted wine from these regions and really enjoyed hearing about where the grapes are grown and the families and people who are dedicated to producing high quality wines.

It's just wonderful tor receive wines with stories behind them. Reading the magazine gave me shivers. It's not everyday that you understand the back story of wines; where they come from and the strong bonds they have created, from familes to singers, to journalists and so much more. They really are powerful stories. It's just all so inspirational. North African and Middle Eastern wines are a great way to get to know the other side of the Mediterranean. Thanks guys! What a poignant experience.

Anyone interested in wine, but also Algeria and Lebanon in general, will absolutely love this. The wines were delicious, and importantly very different to our usual French and Italian usuals. However, the real show stealer is the magazine. Amazing stories, beautiful writing, and filled with little gems, like QR codes to groovy Arab-Indie Fusion music, or tasty Lebanese recipes. Anyone with a curious outlook, this is a must!

Good quality wines. Secretly impressed as I didn't think the wines would be that good as you don't usually associate those countries with wines. The magazine has the stories behind the wines, really interesting to know, will definitely be sharing the knowledge with my friends!

Great to have new and interesting wines to explore in a great, friendly and flexible service. The white from the first box was one of the most interesting and delicious white wines I've tasted in a while.. Very much recommend getting a box for anyone who enjoys wine (and especially enjoys discovering new ones!)

I ordered two boxes over Christmas, one for my in laws (who love wine) and one for myself. Both boxes arrived quickly and well packaged.

The wines were amazing and the magazine a great addition (giving tasting notes, pairing suggestions and also history of the vineyard and region). Everyone loved how unique it was.

The current price per bottle means that these will be for special occasions rather than a regular indulgence and I look forward to exploring new regions as they are released.

A fascinating insight into a unique world of wine, and a chance to taste wine you wouldn't normally come across. Beautifully produced magazine with great articles that create a insightful and entertaining look at a little explored region. And some delicious wine to go along with it!

Interesting high-quality magazine with lots of really well written articles and even recipes. The wines we received were a real treat. Totally different to what I would normally have bought, delicious and a good talking point over a special dinner.

As someone who has been a oenophile for decades, I was pleasantly surprised by the hyper-attention to detail in the products I received. The stories in the magazine are wonderfully written and highly complimentary with the wine, which tasted exquisite. I’ve had a fantastic experience so far and I very much look forward to the next issue!
