Tried on a few coats in the shop
Tried on a few coats in the shop, but they didn't have the colour I liked in my size, so I ordered it online, knowing it would fit. Which it did. It was also slightly cheaper online ( sales ) . Arrived quickly.

Poor quality rubbish at stupid prices. Bought a pair of "waterproof" gloves which let water through very easily.

Product not accurately described, poor customer service
I purchased a raincoat in my usual size 8 and was so disappointed with it. I'm of average height. The sleeves were so short, at least 4 inches up from wrist area. This wasn't advertised as a petite raincoat but it most certainly is. What makes it worse is that when I called to discuss this the customer service was not helpful or willing to refund return costs. I need to return it and asked for a courtesy free return label as it just isn't what I expected. I wouldn't have purchased if description was accurate. I especially bought an Irish product to support home brands and as a family we have been loyal to Portwest. Never again!!

Sizing is completely off
Being that I'm at the top end of sizing I managed to size up by one size (as recommended by the sizing guide).
When the jacket arrived I could barely fit it over my shoulders, with no hope or dream of zipping it up or lifting my arms!
Since I'm purchasing OUTERWEAR I was naively thinking that I would be able to fit clothing underneath - not a snowballs chance...
Ladies be aware that if you're like me and in the top range of sizing - perhaps this range of jackets is not for you.
I've sent the jacket back.
