I asked for a mock interview and received very usefull advice from a PhD student who had all the answers I needed.

The feedback and proofreading service was absolutely incredible, I honestly washy expecting much but the person who worked on my document also included improved versions of my paragraphs in order to gain a first class and it's made such a massive difference. its always nice to have experts give you feedback on your work and give you examples of how to improve it. They said they would give the work within 24 hours but submitted an hour late. There were many grammatical errors and they altered my references and made them incorrect. A huge lack of professionalism and greatly reduces their credibility. I’m not even even sure this person is a professional within the field.

I appreciate how the suggested changes are clearly explained, especially when indicating sections that need additional references to strengthen the manuscript. Well-supported sections are also acknowledged. As an author, it is important to review and accept changes carefully to ensure the original meaning is preserved. Well the rewording of my actual work was not an improvement and didnt stay within the guidelines of wordcount. I wouldnt use this service again. An absolute waste of money

Well, although some notes were helpful, but others were not as they weren’t related to what I intended to mention in my SOP, and therefore created a conflict in the rest of the SOP. There is also no direct way to keep communicating with the editor to reach a satisfying version, otherwise you have to pay again half the price if you want them to review your changes again which is not practical in my opinion. I ended up using my own version and had some colleagues review it instead. Otherwise, I respect that this might be ThePageDoctor’s policy of service.

Victoria is the best! I promise you; she was able to help me more than my PhD advisor EVER did. I wouldn’t be able to complete my research project without her.
