No pressure at all. I went away for while from the shop wearing a good blast of my chosen perfume. The compliments I got from people I bumped into on my travels complimenting my perfume aroma was enough to make me return to the shop and purchase the largest bottle!

My husband took me to The Perfume Shop as a treat for my birthday. The lady that served us, Lizzy, was extremely helpful by advising of new perfumes, as well as helping with the perfume I went in for. I hadn’t heard of the VIP Rewards programme, so she helped set me up as a VIP customer. My husband bought me 2 perfumes, the one I went for & another one. We chatted about the fact it was my birthday that day & she gave me some samples to try too. She couldn’t have been more helpful & we appreciated her help.

My visit to the Houndshill branch was a refreshing experience.
Unfortunately I was a single day late for the Father’s Day discount but the perfumer Angela was so knowledgeable and helpful that it softened the blow of the costly Chanel I wanted!.
Far from being pushy, she guided me through the differences between the strengths and types, teaching me quite a few things I never knew.
She took the time to educate me on a few things (as others had obviously misinformed me about fragrance previously) and she relayed her many years of experiences to me in a way which had significant relevance to me personally without being condescending and ultimately resulted in me making a £215 purchase using her advice as to why it was the right one for me and I had no regrets in making such an expensive purchase.
Give this lady a bonus or a day off or something!!
Very impressed and I sincerely hope both herself and upper management get to read this review and reward her accordingly.
