I had a lovely gift experience at the Clayton Hotel, Birmingham today. Jax was very knowledgeable and funny as she led us through the combining of base, middle and top notes leading us towards combining our own blends. Julie and Madi, who hand blended our selections, were lovely. The other attendees on my table were lovely too. I came away delighted with my new found knowledge and clutching my first very own signature scent. Everything was beautifully presented. I will be buying a refill as the fragrance has developed nicely.

Very enjoyable event. Given as a joint gift with my daughter in law, we had a lovely afternoon with some friendly ladies getting to know more about scents and creating our own. Helen was very knowledgeable and a great host.

Well I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the perfume making experience. Helen was very knowledgeable and her assistants Sylvia and Suzanne very attentive. Helen kept us engaged at all times and the fragrances were amazing. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone.

My daughters and I treated ourselves to a special perfume-making workshop at the historic Ship Hotel. At 500 years old, the venue added a touch of magic to the experience.

Our teacher, Helen, was fantastic. Relaxed, friendly and engaging, she possessed extensive perfume knowledge and experience. The class was informative yet not overly lecture-like.

We had access to 24 beautiful fragrance blends, allowing us to create our own signature scents. Helen explained the differences between top, middle and base notes and flavour groups.

The small class size fostered an intimate atmosphere, enabling us to ask questions and receive Helen’s full attention. We thoroughly enjoyed the workshop and highly recommend it!

The group size was perfect, just 15 of us, so able to exchange thoughts in a light, relaxed atmosphere, while blending beautiful perfumes.
Vivi was simply lovely. Informative with a friendly and helpful delivery style.

My mom and I were gifted the perfume experience and we had a brilliant time. Sarah was so knowledgeable we learnt so much and have come away with a really unique and special new perfume each. This is a really unusual experience and so fun, would he brilliant for hen do parties too!

I recently attended a perfume-making experience at Betchworth Golf Club, and overall it was such a lovely and unique day. The set-up was beautiful — we were welcomed with water, optional Bucks Fizz or juice, and even coffee beans to smell between scents (who knew how helpful that would be!). The team explained everything clearly, from top, middle, and base notes to how to discover what suits you personally.

We were then able to smell every scent on paper strips and score them on our own fragrance cards before organising them into “yes,” “no,” and “maybe” piles. It was a really fun and interactive process, and the ladies hosting were friendly, knowledgeable, and made everything feel relaxed and enjoyable.

There were a couple of hiccups on the day — the event overran by more than an hour, which caused some people to miss lunch bookings, and there was a little difficulty around upgrading (even though the tables encouraged us to ask). Because of the rush at the end, my perfume was unfortunately blended incorrectly.

However, what truly stood out to me was how brilliantly this was handled afterwards. I emailed Julie in the events team, and she couldn’t have been more helpful. She remade my perfume from my original fragrance card and sent it out to me promptly. Her customer care completely turned the situation around and ensured the experience ended on an extremely positive note.

A huge thank you to the girls on the day and to Julie for the fantastic aftercare. Even with the small issues, what mattered most was how they were resolved — and in that respect, the company really shone. I left feeling valued as a customer, and I would 100% return and recommend the experience to others.

The staff were very informative and helpful.

I went along with my daughter and we both really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and learning all about the different perfumes. It was a busy session with reduced staff, but we felt we had had enough time to try everything. Nice to come home with our own bespoke scent which we can replenish at any time. Would recommend!

We had a great time. Helen was so friendly and knowledgeable. Didn’t feel rushed at all, she had time for everyone. Great workshop and came away with a lovely personalised perfume.
