Super service!

Super service! I had a small problem with a product purchased nearly a year ago and both Billie and Jayde in the support team were brilliant, arranging my RMA and the replacement was received just a couple days later. Great range of products on their site always at competitive prices.

Mistakes happen—just not at The Pi Hut!

I made a mistake when ordering from The Pi Hut. I accidentally sent my package to my old address. I caught the error 4 minutes after placing the order and immediately contacted support, thinking this would be a simple fix.

Nope, not for The Pi Hut! Despite hours before dispatch, they flat-out refused to help. Their excuse? “We ship fast.” and "It's operationally inconvenient for us". Their support team spent the better part of a day copy-pasting policy at me, showing no willingness to engage in the finding a solution.

I even received the old “If we make an exception for you, we’d have to do it for everyone.” excuse. Essentially, they admit that this issue happens so often that actually helping customers would be too much of a hassle!

Ironically, their concern was “efficiency,” yet they happily spent hours arguing with me instead of spending seconds actually helping. I’m still not sure if they genuinely believe this is good service or if they just enjoy debating their own customers.

To be clear, my frustration isn’t about the mistake—I take responsibility for that. It’s about how a company responds when customers need help. The Pi Hut had every opportunity to offer even a sliver of goodwill. Instead, they chose to do nothing.

So, if you ever order from The Pi Hut, make sure you get everything right the first time—because if you don’t, you’re on your own.

Great customer service

Very prompt delivery. Items securely and attractively packaged. Good value for money. An issue with a faulty unit was dealt with speedily and effectively at no cost to me, and a replacement provided quickly. Very impressed with their customer service.

Great service, let down by Royal Mail

My items were dispatched on the day I placed my order. Unfortunately, let down by Royal Mail (again!)

I contacted Pi Hut support and they could not have been more helpful. They advised me of what to expect from the delivery options and when to act. When the item had not arrived in the agreed timeframe, Pi Hut sent a replacement item via DHL and my item arrived the next day. Always great service and hopefully I can ask for my orders to be sent by DHL in future.

What a Mess..

I bought a Raspberry 5 over a month ago, and they only had to send me what I bought. But they sent a Raspberry 4 and messed up my order, and so far I still haven't received what I bought. I honestly can't recommend anything to anyone, and I haven't bought anything from this site again.

Exceptional Service

Exceptional Service. Ordered an ADS-B antenna on Thursday afternoon, arrived the following Tuesday afternoon. Five days including a weekend from Cambridge UK to regional South Australia. The antenna is of good quality and well made, with all mounting hardware. The bonus is it's half the cost of a comparable antenna sourced in Australia.

Best customer service

I had problem with my pi5 and I requested some help. The pihut couldn't have done more to help me. They were amazing and solved my problem 100% I highly recommend

Outstanding Customer Service from Jayde!

Absolutely Amazing Experience & Customer Service

I bought a few items from TPH:

RPi Zero 2 W Starter Kit, Heat Sink & Case.
RPi 5 Starter Kit, Active Cooler, SSD Hat with RPi SSD & TPH's Case.

I placed almost all of these in separate orders, meaning I paid for shipping for all of the orders. Admittedly, I could have done a better job of researching beforehand.

But I contacted CS and they were kind enough to refund the shipping costs for 2 out of 3 orders, which was greatly appreciated.

Also, their shipping is just on point. So far, all the orders have shipped next working day and arrived within a day or two.

All in all, a great experience shopping here and I definitely will be buying from here in the future 🙂

Fantastic shop with fantastic customer service

The Superb Pi Hut Company

The company has always been good to me and the service supplied is fantastic. Whenever you have a problem or query they answer with more than acceptable waiting time. I have recently been dealing with them on my recent purchase pi 5. They ran through the trouble shooting process before deciding to replace the item. With clear cut instructions and assistance the replacement was an ease to deal with. Jayde at the company who assisted me was especially thoughtful and patient and a credit to them. If I could give more stars I would and would recommend them to anyone.

A gem for hobbyists

I just recently found out about The Pi Hut and was so impressed by the quality of their service. It has a wide range of products to chose from, with excellent detailed descriptions. Shipping is very fast and products arrive packaged with outmost care. I received my microbit kits in less than a day after placing the order. Honestly, this is the fastest I ever received a buy. Most impressive though was the customer service who was very helpful, kind and professional. While this was my first time buying from The Pi Hut, it would not be the last!

I placed order for two items, and it all fell apart.

I placed an order for a solar panel and separate solar manager module. Once the manager module was dispatched, I received an email stating that the solar panel was not in stock, even though the website stated it was when ordering. I responded to customer support that one without the other was pointless, so please cancel the order. As I had already surmised the request was denied, owing to the fact that the item had already been dispatched. I proceeded to asked the question as to why the item was dispatched when only part of the order was available when other, more proactive, companies contact their customers to check if an alternative is suitable or cancel the order? I was met with a sarcastic email that stated that "if you do not want this anymore you can refuse this parcel. We do have lots of solar panels available on our website that will be compatible". When I enquired as to an example none were forthcoming. This was because none met the price point or specifications of the original I had ordered, two important factors when considering compatibility. The lack of customer consideration exhibited by this company is the reason I will take my custom elsewhere in the future.

Had some hardware problems resolved quickly.

Had some hardware problems with a computer module. They provided good advice on how to trouble shoot the issue, and when that didn't work they replaced r the components quickly and without fuss.
