We bought our first kiln from The Pottery People who have been brilliant throughout. The kiln is fabulous, it arrived well packed and safe and sound, as first timers we had many questions but their after care is excellent, they always have time for us and we have found their service to be first rate.

Bought a wonderful kiln from the Pottery People and they have been absolutely brilliant from the start. They have been so supportive in checking in via email to see how it’s all going. I did have a couple of questions about some settings and they got straight back to me with super helpful advice. They have been fabulous and I cannot fault them in any way. Great service, super helpful, fantastic product. Would HIGHLY recommend.

Having looked around I found the Pottery People to be the best price for my IKON kiln. I had several unexpected updates regarding at what stage the build of my kiln was at, which made a great difference in making me feel a valued customer. I had a specific request regarding delivery which Billy and his team had no problems dealing with. Any questions I had were answered no problems. The IKON kiln came recommended by other people at my shared studio, particularly due to it's easy to use controller, high temperature ability due to great thermal qualities and that it is made in the UK by a very experienced company. I'm very pleased with my purchase experience.

Fantastic company. There was a small technical hiccup with my order, but they went above and beyond to ensure it got sorted out quickly and were really helpful addressing my concerns about whether I'd be able to get my new wheel up and into the house on my own (I did!) - even offering to contact someone local to me to help.

Competitive pricing and fantastic customer service team. Lots of communication despite it being the mad rush up to Christmas. When having a Kiln delivered they contacted me in advance to determine shipping and when an additional item did not arrive when expected they were prompt at looking into it for me.

Always there to answer queries and delivery happened exactly on the day and time they said it would. The price of the kiln was very competitive, with no disadvantage… in fact it was also delivered for free!

I contacted the pottery people to build me a garden pottery studio and boy did they deliver!
Great communication, help selecting the right products for my skill level, excellent build materials and a studio that will last me for years. The build quality is amazing and they have stayed in touch to advise how to organise the insides, including sending me ideas on layouts and how to get the most out of the products I chose. They also have deals on clay/glazes etc for my future needs.

I bought a wheel and starter pack as a surprise Christmas present for my wife. It was a significant outlay and I guess it was procrastinating about the cost that caused me to overlook that I was 5 days beyond the advertised deadline for last delivery before Christmas. Macie at The Pottery People contacted me straight away and advised me of the situation, did I still want to proceed and she would do what they could to get it in time. Hope for the best, expect the worst. First world problems I know but blow me, it arrived well in time and the starter pack generously ready for a potter to get going. Buying from The Pottery People has really been a positive experience and felt like they're a business who properly care about customer service. I had a great experience with The Pottery People. Billy and Macie were very helpful and knowledgable which gave me confidence in buying my first kiln for our studio. The delivery was straightforward and Macie even checked in afterwards to make sure all went well. Look forward to working with them in future!

For inexperienced potters like us it was a bit of a leap of faith to try and source the right type of kiln to fit with our needs, etc. so the detailed information and videos, etc. on the website really helped to find the right one. Having shopped around a bit, it looked to be a very competitive price on the kiln, and with added extras included - like furniture, clay and glaze - to help get us started! Very helpful and friendly service, e.g. responding to queries on delivery timescales, providing updates on this, etc. and choosing a convenient delivery date. All round good experience, very pleased - now ready to get potting!

I wanted to get My Wife the Shimpo wheel she had her eye on for a long time, and with Her Birthday coming up it seemed the perfect opportunity.

Unfortunately I hum'd and haw'd for longer than I should have and put the delivery in jeopardy.

However, thanks to Lara and Billy at 'The Pottery People', they pulled out all the stops to get the Wheel to me before 'B-Day'......and not only that, the communication was excellent when all my nerves and doubts kicked in and it didn't seem like it was going to come off!

Bottom line, I can highly recommend 'The Pottery People'!

It was time for me to invest in my first kiln. Lots of research later and I'd decided the iKON v61GRX was the one, but where to buy it from. More research... The pottery people came out head and shoulders above the rest, responsiveness to commutations, clear answers and a great price.
Having now received the kiln and ancillary items, it all went to plan.
Very happy to recommend Billy and his team, indeed I already have!...

I ordered an Ikon kiln. There were some issues getting a confirmed time frame and it didn’t arrive in the day it was supposed to. But none of this was the fault of The Pottery People. They did their best to chase and find out what had happened. There was no huge issue, it just wasn’t put on the lorry for delivery. I had a difficult time with it as this is my first ever kiln. Billy was great though, and did endure a million emails from someone with Autism who had to deal with something unexpected. He was really kind and patient. The kiln came with furniture, and some bonus goodies, I definitely found it here at the best price. I would use the company again for big and small purchases. Billy kept comms going at the weekend, when every other pottery company I’ve dealt with are closed. So I really appreciated that as for me it was a huge purchase and I was worried. Again none of it was their fault. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them for aftercare and great advice in choosing your pottery purchases. They do know their stuff.

Best price for the wheel I was after and with free clay to get started. The offer of ongoing support is appreciated.
