Interpersonal relations of the consultant and knowledge

I recently contacted the property buying company to enquire regarding selling a property. Although we have decided to not proceed currently Yash was very polite, informative and happy to help during the contact that I had with the company. If things change I would be confident to contact him again in the future.

Well I feel I have to say that the previous review of Charlotte at this company I find shocking lovely lady not at all stuck up well spoken answers questions and calls back when asked not pushy indeed I would ignore the previous remarks on this lady my impression is the complete opposite and I feel I have to comment As the lady doesn’t deserve such slander

Timely, knowledgeable and professional service offered

After a previous sale fell through at the last minute we were attracted by opportunity to sell the house quickly. Initial contract from was very quick, an acceptable offer made within 24 hours and a sales agreement signed in a few days.

Another member of staff was then meant to deal with the actual sale and despite us completing all the sellers documentation from the solicitor very promptly we heard absolutely nothing from her for 3 weeks. She never answered her phone and did not respond to emails.

Eventually, with the estimated completion date looming we had a phone call to say that their valuation was lower than ours and that a senior member of staff would be in touch.

Another week and more passed and it took an email from me issuing an ultimatum for anything to happen. Finally, I had a phone call to say that they couldn’t buy the house for cash because of ‘market conditions’ but would seek to market it for us through other means. I politely declined.

I am sure this system has worked for other sellers but our experience is of poor communication and broken promises. We are now going back onto the regular market having lost 6 weeks of selling time including 3 Bank Holidays.

The whole experience was extremely stressful for my 87 year old mother so I would advise any potential sellers to think long and hard about getting involved with this company. In our experience the process is not the silver bullet they claim it to be.
