I began losing a significant amount of hair from stress when I started my PhD program, which led me to explore red light therapy as a potential solution. After some research, I decided to try the Theradome Pro—and I’m so glad I did. Within a short time, I saw noticeable regrowth, and even my hairline improved after just a few months. Friends and professionals at Drybar and my hairdresser started complimenting the fullness and health of my hair. It’s been a game-changer for me—an excellent product that truly delivers results!

I have been a Theradome user for 5 years. Very pleased with the Pro - no longer shedding hair as I used to. I also feel it has enhanced my hair quality over time - thickened the strands (my hair is very fine). It is very easy to use and I like that the commitment is only 2 times per week. I have seen a doc due to my age related thinning hair and he recommended it. I really feel it has helped.

I was very quick to buy this based on my hairdresser's recommendation. I had a bit of buyer's remorse and panicked because it was not within my budget; however, I proceeded with the treatments as instructed and hoped for the best.

I'm 3 months in, after 24 treatments and this is what I've discovered so far. The helmet is painless, with just a little weight on my head. They came with velcro pads (for people with smaller heads) but they didn't stay on. It didn't matter, I was going to use it regardless. There's no sound other than a female voice that says how much time is remaining in five minute increments. Twenty minutes passes by quickly if you're reading or watching TV. This is only needed twice a week (for my model) and the convenience is very nice. I'd say that a recharge is needed after 5-6 uses. The power button goes from green (fully charged), to orange (getting low), to red (full charge needed). I plug it in to recharge overnight.

Now for the exciting part. My hair is no longer falling out. This is a big deal to me because I had many strands of hair fall out when running my hands through it. I no longer have to clear my hair brushes weekly. My vacuum isn't getting jacked up with long strands of hair being twisted in the brush.

Because of this, my hair will eventually be fuller and my scalp will be covered more densely. Patience is a must here and you just need to stay the course.

I highly recommend Theradome for those of you who may be on the fence, because you're probably hesitant because it is a bit pricey. Oh! Let's not forget the company. They're incredible. They've reached out to me a few times to make sure all is well and to please let them know if I should have any questions or concerns. Top notch service.

I purchased my Theradome about 5 years ago as I was experiencing hair thinning. Initially, I wasn't as consistent with my use. After I started using the helmet routinely 4 times a week, I slowly began to see sprouts of new hair above my temple area. It was so exciting! Gradually, my hair began to thicken. I was shocked recently while I was taking an xray of my back, ahead of spine surgery, when the radiologist asked me to put my hair in a ponytail for fear that it may obstruct the xray! That was a first!

Why a review now? After 11 hour back surgery in May, I started having a lot of hair loss. Thank goodness I have the Theradome to help me."

I've been fighting the inevitable for going on 20 years. I started with finasteride and waited as long as I could to add minoxidil (10 years or so). I only do minoxidil once a day as I don't want my hair greasy during the day. I now use the liquid for the front half of my head and the foam at the crown because of terrible crown itchiness from the liquid. I knew the day would come where I'd have to make a decision on 2 times a day minoxidil or finding something else to add to the regiment. I decided, you know what, why not. This helmet is way cheaper than flying to Turkey. And I'm too lazy to make a platelet (PRP) appointment (also expensive). But going into this summer, I was starting to lose a little ground at my crown. And, of course, hairline. So I bought this helmet. It felt like a big decision but I quickly forgot about the money and got my hope back. I started with every day and now I find myself doing everything other day. I try for every day but life happens. The instructions say to do it every other day but I've had no adverse effects. I'm only 40 treatments in and it's noticeably thicker. THIS works. I know we've all been programmed to not believe these things but just maybe that way of thinking makes other people money. Because I am now a believer. So much so that I feel compelled to rebuttal anyone acting skeptical about these on social media. Those are people who have never actually tried the product. And do you think I'd write a novel of a review just for fun? Start your hairloss regiment early on in life before your hair loss is too advanced. But it is never too late to try. One day you'll lose the war to your hair lose but, dang it, you can fight it for a very long time. Again, I've been fighting it 20 years. Just make the helmet part of your routine. Put it on when you watch TV or scroll your phone. My wife jokes that I look like Toad from Mario Cart during treatments :D. It's true but who cares. The results are what I'm after. It's comfortable and you really don't notice it is there. This product is worth every penny. Even if it just stopped your hairloss, it'd be worth it. But, again, I've seen positive results. My one trick is to put the helmet on just slightly different every day. It's my theory that'll get the lasers to hit a different spot each time. I'm talking very small adjustments. Just to mix it up.

Ive been using the Theradome Pro 18 months now, and the results have been impressive. My hair feels and looks thicker. They have great customer service. Ask for Johnny! Buy the extended warranty!

Theradome actually delivers on the benefits promised After losing a loved one in 2021, I experienced some hair loss due to stress. After using Theradome strictly following the directions, I experienced regrowth of my hair. Since then I have faithfully used Theradome, and my hair continues to grow faster and thicker.

I have been using Theradome for four months now, and I wish I had taken “before” pictures to share! I am losing so much less hair, and new hair is growing at my temples, the area of biggest concern to me. Even better: my husband, who can’t even tell when I’ve had my hair cut, mentioned one day out of the blue that he could tell “that helmet” (Theradome) was working, because my hair was looking fuller and really great. :)

I have had my helmet for about 1 1/2 years. After about 9 months my battery needed to be replaced. After contacting the company regarding my problem, I was told that if I wrote a glowing review that I could get a complimentary battery, after much back and forth with the representative, his tone changed, he was rude, and I had to remind them that the helmet had a one year warranty before my battery was replaced. Shortly before my one year anniversary, I was given an opportunity to purchase an extended warranty. I could not do it online so I called to purchase the warranty over the phone. When I contacted the company regarding an issue with my helmet, I was told that I never purchased the warranty. After checking my account, I was never charged for the warranty however I don't understand why I was not advised that the charge did not go through, especially since the funds were readily available. I have tried reaching out on numerous occasions via phone and email to follow-up and purchase the warranty but no one will follow up. I have been trying to contact the company for several months.

I'm happy to report that after posting this review, I was contacted by Customer Service. They have corrected the situation and provided me the warranty that I initially paid for therefore I am upgrading my rating.

They may work, but mine died. Did they refund the money, well - they claimed they would, super nice customer service Dept, but still have not, 6 months later.

Theradome is a game-changer! After just three months of consistent use, I started seeing new hair growth. Years later, my hair is thicker and fuller than ever before. I use it almost daily, and 20 minutes before bed is a small price to pay for such fantastic results!

I was dubious, but thought I would give Theradome a try. I faithfully followed the twice a week, 20-minute regimen. After about 3 months, I saw some hair growth. I was so encouraged, I kept up my routine. A year later, what a difference! I am thrilled!

I have been using the Theradome since January 2025 and am satisfied with the product. It works great & I have noticed some baby hairs growing in places they once stopped. I'm going to continue using the device and hopefully see more positive results.

I just did my 118th treatment tonight, I am seeing amazing results and I am very happy with my progress. I try to use it every night when I get in bed and read for a half hour before going to sleep and I have been successful minus a few evenings and a 14 day vacation in the very beginning of my treatment. I am also using Minoxidil, taking a DHT blocker and using special shampoo for thinning hair BUT I have tried all of these alone and NEVER had the success pairing them with Theradome!! I would highly recommend this for those with thinning hair (mine is thin and fine 🤦‍♀️) it takes some patience and routine just like a workout regimen and skin care regimen but if you are willing to put the time and effort in it makes a big difference!!

The customer service person was very helpful helping me troubleshoot why my dime had stopped working. Happy that is was still under warranty & new parts should arrive soon. My dermatologist recommended it and it has made a huge difference in my hair regrowth. Looking forward to using it again.

I started losing the hair on my head after menopause 15 years ago. This year I noticed the hair loss was getting significantly worse. I looked into the typical hair loss drugs, which seemed like a low-cost option until I realized I'd be using them forever. And if I stopped the hair loss would increase again. Somehow found Theradome and it seemed like a better way to go since the older I get the more prescriptions I take, and decided the hair loss drugs were not something I wanted to add.
After just 10 treatments I have noticed a LOT less hair in the shower drain and in my comb. I am very hopeful that my Theradome will help me keep more of my hair and induce some of my senescent hair follicles to wake up and send out more hair.
The Theradome is easy to use, there is a digital voice assistant that helps with treatment timing, battery charge levels, etc. I find it to be a comfortable device, and I only use it a few times a week, so I don't need to remember yet another pill or putting liquids on my scalp.
This product is great and effective and worth a try.

I have been using the Theradome for roughly 9 months and can certainly see an improvement in my thinning hair.
It's very easy to use and you can carry on with your life as you do so.

Purchased LH40 in March 2025 and 21 treatments are in the book. It does show signs of regrowth in some area. I am cautiously optimistic to expect the positive result will continue as the treatments go on.

I bought this from Costco about three months ago, completed about 50 treatments so far, and I have noticed an improvement in my hair. It has stopped falling out and it looks thicker and looks healthier. I’m very pleased so far and I would recommend this product without hesitation. I have also been following their recommendation and using an anti-fungal shampoo a couple times a week also.
