I purchased The Standard backpack and within about six months the stitching started coming out and one strap pulled through its rivets. The stitching appeared to be double-stitched, but in fact the leather was cut short and only one row of stitching was engaged. Reviews had me believe I would get 20 years out of this backpack, but instead it failed in about 6 months. I have to say the quality of workmanship was not what I expected. I made a repair myself and sent the company pictures. They said they couldn’t do anything to help.
Edit/Update: Since I made the repair of my bag, now one of the main zippers opened up from the bottom.
July 7, 2025 update: I reported the issue during the warranty period. I have owned the backpack less than a year, it is still under warranty. I gave customer service that information.

Anne was extremely helpful concerning my questions I had about the Jumbo laptop bag. I am a disabled veteran on a fixed income and wanted something nice for myself. When I came across this bag, I was immediately attracted. I was initially on the fence about making this purchase (the Man Bag), but I am glad I did. If you're anything like me, your pants pockets are filled with the daily necessities like sun & reading glasses, keys, wallet, etc Not to mention a pocket knife, cell phone, and if you practice your first amendment rights, then there's that. The Man Bag gives me a compact, but spacious and classic rugged (dark brown) looking option to effectively carry the things that I need throughout the day, without overloading my pockets. It's easy enough to throw in the car and access what you need as you need it upon exiting the car, or utility enough to grab and go using the hand or shoulder strap. Shipping took a bit longer than I had anticipated from the time of order (about 2 weeks), but the quality and utility factor more than made up for the wait. Additionally, Rigelle in customer service was a tremendous help, providing me with requested updates regarding my order when I was concerned about the timeline. I would recommend to others if you are considering & would order again without a doubt. More time is needed to see how well it ages with wear, but so far I am pleased.

I purchased a The Everyday cow leather bag on May 11 with a promised delivery of 3–5 business days. After my order, I bought an additional wallet. The seller correctly swapped the color after my request, and I initially left a short positive review based on that interaction.
However, the bag itself did not ship properly. I updated my review to 1 star when I realized the tracking status hadn’t changed. Prior to that, support repeatedly insisted the delay was USPS’s fault, even though tracking clearly showed that the bag had never been received by USPS. I sent them a screenshot and everything, but nothing changed. I was panicking that I had been scammed out of $400 at that point, which led me to change my review.
Once my review score changed, the bag shipped within 48 hours. That timing, combined with AI-generated support responses, was highly suspicious. The responses ping as 99-100% AI generated on sites like gptzero.
When the bag arrived, it was slightly damaged and smelled strongly of soap and perfume, even now after two weeks. In contrast, the wallet I ordered with it does smell like real leather. This has made me question whether the bag is truly made of cow leather, or if it’s a lower-grade or synthetic substitute. I was researching this when the seller prompted me again to change my review, with one being from trustpilot itself showing they had flagged my review with only 3 days to provide more info!!! They clearly know what case this is, as evidenced by over 20 messages since May 17th, so this was clearly just a pressure tactic to remove a legitimate 1-star review!
I was eventually offered a $30 credit, which was framed alongside repeated requests to revise or remove my review, before the issue had been resolved. The refund just came through this morning, and two more emails immediately followed asking me to update my Trustpilot review again, along with a Trustpilot verification request.
TL;DR:
The company offered a resolution only after public pressure (and then only $30 + extended warranty WITH the pressure to update my review), avoided admitting fault, and showed greater concern for review optics than for product quality or transparency. The inconsistencies between the wallet and the bag raise real doubts about material authenticity.
I’m a busy person who has spent hours ln this whole process just to get $30 of compensation along with (at this point) 5 repeated attempts for me to change my review. I can’t believe I’m feeling this much pressure over a bag review, but given what they have put me through so far, I feel the need (and they are forcing me) to keep doing more work on this review.
I don’t know what this all means. Maybe my experience is just an outlier. But I’m actually so overwhelmed by this all and far from happy with the product. Just… don’t give a review until you get the product no matter how hard they pressure you. Make sure it’s as advertised before leaving a review. And I hope you keep your sanity if you end up like me.
Update 1: Spoke too soon. They have not sent the bag and wallet and it has been 3 weeks. I’m not sure I’ll ever get it and being on support with the same Anne has gotten me nowhere. She keeps claiming it’s in USPS hands but it’s clear it’s still with the Real Leather (Whittier, CA) and USPS has not yet received it.

This company has exceptional customer service! My wife bought me a great backpack for my birthday and less than a year later, some of the stitching came undone rendering one of the pockets useless. I reached out to customer service and Rigelle Gomez was fantastic. I sent some pictures and a video to her, and she worked with her team to send me a brand new bag. There were some issues with shipping (not caused by the company itself), but Anna from the support team helped a lot and provided plenty of information i would need, and there was a lot of transparency throughout it all.
I received the bag and find it to be of good quality, though I find the holes for writing utensils are quite loose, as my tablet's pen slides down requiring me to dig deeper than I'd like. Otherwise, it's one of, if not the best bag I've ever had.
