Quality is too bad to justify purchasing here anymore. I think their pieces are so cute and try so hard to buy from sustainable brands, but I have tried buying from them three times in total over the... See more

Made my first ever Reformation purchase…
Made my first ever Reformation purchase and it was online. Was looking for a fashionable brand that uses all natural fabrics. Delivery smooth and within expected timeframe. Items came in paper parcels and were inside plastic packaging - not sustainable as per their brand ethos, they could use fully paper/biodegradable but fine.
Ordered 2 tops in size XS (5ft1/155cm, normally a size XXS-XS/EU32-34). Emerald knit top in white was a good, comfortable fit. Black darcy knit top was bit too loose esp in the shoulder area but rlly like the style. Kept both - super comfy and soft.
Overall rlly like the reformation style and soft natural fabrics but their clothes are defo way too overpriced for what they are..reasonable pricing would be at least half of their actual esp when compared to similar ish brands in terms of fabric composition and quality like COS, &other stories.
Will buy items again based on price, fit and qual and only if I rlllyy like smth and cant find it elsewhere.
Do not buy from Reformation unless you want to be blocked from buying on 2000 online websites
TLDR : Do not buy from Reformation unless you want a wrongful block on all your personal info and not being able to buy from 2000 other online websites and receive little support from Ref regarding the issue.
I am currently blocked from buying on Reformation by mistake and all their third party agent clients and Reformation can't resolve the issue. Their third party payment agent, Global-E, claimed that I tried to use a stolen credit card ou made chargebacks, which I never did in my life. Reformation said that Global-E decision is final and there is no appeal possible, even if a mistake was clearly made.
To recap, I made an order with Reformation on March 26th. I was asked to confirm the transaction by Global-E by e-mail the same day, I responded right away. My order got canceled without any warning on March 29th. Tried 4 times though different payment methods (credit cards, Paypal) / emails / Internet browser - they all got canceled.
Global-E ignored my emails for more than a week. Their customer service line is disconnected. They don't answer to tickets being made through their website. There is no way to appeal from their decision or to contact them.
When Global-E finally contacted me yesterday, it was because I left a review of their (non-existent) service on social media, not because of Reformation. They are stating that Reformation are expected to handle all customer queries. In the meantime Reformation keeps telling me Global-E will reach me and that they are the one that can resolve this issue.
I spoke twice my credit card company and their fraud department, my file is totally clean and there is nothing suspicious. They never heard of a case like mine where all customer infos is blocked from a website.
Meanwhile, Global-E is a third party-agent that serves 2000 online merchant. That means that I am block from buying from them, with very little help from Reformation.
I can't give it any stars
I can't give it any stars, I received a torn dress, it seems like a joke, the bad thing about waiting for dresses that are from the European Union is taking that risk, and the only solution they say is to apologize and they will analyze a return. Their only apology is that the 10 percent discount if I keep the product, I must wait too long for the return of my money and be left without a graduation dress. Please, I insist, if you are outside the European Union, do not place orders in this store.
Expensive but cheap quality.
Clothes look cute but the quality is actually worse than zaras. The stitching is poor, one shirt I got about a year ago has holes in it, and I don't even wear it that often. Plastic buttons. Often I'll see the exact same style on Zara for less than a third of the price, and often even better material and stitching with Zara. This brand needs to stop IMO. bad clothes that are way too expensive
REFORMATION HAS HORRIBLE SERVICE
Reformation has HORRIBLE customer service. I ordered a $150 dress that arrived in a brown envelope. Very odd packaging. I tried the dress on, hoping to like it, but it wasn’t a good fit. I returned the dress in the same packaging. I then received an email stating they are returning the dress to me because it doesn’t meet their return standards. They included a picture of a dress with stains that could not have happened within the minutes I had it on. After reading so many bad customer service reviews I regret not doing that BEFORE I ordered. I will NEVER order again and I hope others read these reviews before taking a chance and ordering from Reformation.
Outstanding customer service
I've had an issue with an order and the Reformation team responded super quickly and resolved the issue straight away. :)
One word : disappointed
Poor quality brand with bad delivery service ! I ordered a silk dress 350€ and received it in a (recycled) plastic bag stuff into an "envelop", it was all wrinkled. When I sent it to the dry cleaner in order to iron it, we discovered stains on the dress. I'm really disappointed because I really liked the design and the purpose of the brand but after receiving it I am sorry to discover that even Zara have a better customer service, higher quality fabric for a much affordable price.... Sustainability is an important criteria that why I chose you over Zara but please respect the consumer....
FIRST TIME I HAVE EVER WRITTEN A BAD…
FIRST TIME I HAVE EVER WRITTEN A BAD ONLINE REVIEW. I am usually the one writing all the good ones on FB and Tripadvisor and turning my head, giving a pass with the bad stuff as a one-off, giving grace and things happen but --- Bought a dress, returned it and exchanged for another size within their 30 day period. Dress is for my daughter's wedding. They refused return due to "make up" stains. The picture they sent me shows no make up stains. And, I typically don't wear make up! And def not at home to try a dress on. Please be warned and take pictures and video of any item you have before before returning it to them online and I am not even sure that will do it. When pushed about it they agreed to give me a store credit. Would have rather had money back since I just rebought the same dress in a different size. Pretty sure I will not want to do any more business with them. But, I will take credit because it is better than being out my money! Love their Newbury St store in Boston and disappointed that this was my online experience. Never have I had such an experience with any other designer or high end retailer if they want to call themselves that. Super disappointed and sort of jades my happiness with my dress to wear to my daughters wedding. I will give them that their customer service was prompt by text but there also should be a phone number to speak to an actual person if needed. You are not some off, Amazon brand!
Quick and Kind Customer Service
Honestly absolutely angelic customer service - replied promptly and helped me resolve an issue I was having with a rather substantial order quickly and with care. Was on the cusp of pulling my hair out with stress but the team were sweet and efficient. Not sure why they're getting such a bad rep (and the clothes are gorgeous!).
Great customer service
Generally I’m compelled to write a review when I have a bad experience, but I think it’s important to also give shout outs and good reviews to companies that deserve it. Reformation’s customer service is the gold standard! They make things easy, and this isn’t just a singular review, I’m speaking from multiple experiences.
Great customer service
Great customer service, they reply really fast. I ordered three times and always had to send some things back which was no problem according to EU rights. I would defenitely order in this shop again.
Shockingly poor quality
Shockingly poor quality - I bought one dress and exchanged it because the lining was so out of line with the exterior of the dress. The next one I got looked better but the seams started fraying after an hour of wear. By the time I got home from the wedding I'd worn it to, after about 8 hours of wear, the seams on the straps were fully unravelling (and I'm not a busty or curvy woman). I reached out to customer service to try to get a resolution, I was outside the returns period but hoped they'd pay for the straps to be fixed at least. But they said it was outside of the statutory minimum for goods that are not fit for purpose and I got brushed off. Given that this dress cost £300 I'd definitely save your money and get a dress from a real designer like LK Bennett. This dress is BooHoo quality at Stella McCartney prices!
Terrible quality
Terrible quality!
Ordered a £300 dress that looks about £20. It smells like BO and is completely see through
What a joke
FRAUDULENT COMPANY
Quality, Sizing & Customer Service are all horrible
Their products' quality isn't worth the price – you might as well get knock-offs from China. Sizing is all over the place, and don't even think about returns. All they offer is a 'sorry, your bad' email and a 'try your luck next time.' My one purchase from them was a total letdown. My advice? Save your money!!
Sizing is totally off
I regret to write bad reviews. But, honestly, why do you have sizing at all, if it doesn't correspond to reality? I am 26 in any jean brand, your 26 jean size is like 32. I am buying online to save my time and to play the lottery whether it is going to fit or may come 3 sizes bigger.
Please, CHECK YOUR SIZING.
I never were able to take over the…
I never were able to take over the order but they charged me for delivery for return.
As well I contacted them less then hour after creating the order to cancell order, that I made a mistake. Which is legal and allowed in my country.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. When you reach out for help they just send you a link on why they are right and you’re wrong! Everything is hidden in their policy page. It’s should be written out and there should be leniency on there end. Another customer lost for them. They don’t seem to care but also the people responding don’t own the company so why do they care who they upset or if they loose reformation another customer. It’s 2024 if you don’t have good customer service people will go else where there are so many other great companies with impeccable service. Spend your money at revolve, Shopbop, Anthropologie! All amazing customer service.
Really poor company
Really poor company. Terrible organisation. Order did not arrive for 6 weeks other than one top which didn’t fit properly. Difficult to return and you have to pay to do so.
Beware of Customer Service and Bad Quality
Initiated a return during the return window for a dress that was meant as a gift and was SHEER and low quality. I was unable to drop package off for a couple days due to the holidays. Unlike almost every other company in the world that has leniency over the holidays, this company refuses refunds. Absolutely do not buy gifts from here around the holidays. Really unfortunate to feel the need to warn all of my friends and family about this company due to poor customer service and bad business tactics.
