The team who installed the solar package were very professional, friendly and helpful. All done in less than a day.
The value of the package we selected is the best I've found on the market.
I'd definitely recommend Thermohome !

Great service from start to finish. Richard kept me informed of the process the whole way through & answered any questions I had in depth. Saving already on my electricity! The lads who put up the solar panels & scaffolding were also fab. 5 stars from me.

Sadly I have had to review this review having waited 6 months to hear back from the grid after contacting thermo home several times . They gave promises to chase our offer from the grid. Today we contacted the national grid directly, to find out they had written to thermohomes on the 8th of Aug. We now only have a month to confirm which thermohomes has to do. Original installation of solar panels was excellent sadly the service that followed has left me with no option but to change my review. Since this change in review I have been contacted by Pete who has since resolved the issue although communication wasn’t great. Here is my original review which I still agree with in terms of the companies used for the installation - shame we hadn’t seen any financial returns from the grid. Original review: Super service very quick and smooth installation, everyone very professional. We were initially hesitant due to couple of reviews left. Highly recommend if you are wanting solar panels. We were amazed how quick we could see the benefit from the panels Thank you

Excellent service, I’m very happy with my new solar panels! Brian and Aaron were very helpful, friendly and informative, and kept me up to date throughout. Installation was quick and efficient, and the installation team were fantastic. Small delay in sending the paperwork, but this was resolved efficiently by the MD and the team. Keep up the great work!

Nice easy experience, few hiccups but sorted very quickly.
Installation was expertly handled to a high standard .
Would highly recommend Thermohome Ltd for fitting of solar panels

The first consultation meeting with Gemma was informative and she was really helpful. She responded quickly to emails too.
The communication bit in the middle could have been better and more informative. For example what would happen next, who would turn up when, how long each bit would take etc
The installation happened very quickly after the first meeting. The scaffolding team were helpful and just got on with it.
The installation team were great, they had to keep coming in and out the house, whilst I was working at home and they were respectful of that. They even didn’t mind my dogs barking at them because they were in the house and garden.
Would highly recommend.

A last minute change to the scaffold install date did cause a few issues but on the day all went smooth

The whole team at thermohomes were really helpful, when we had questions they were able to answer them and everything was done in a timely manner.
While they are so helpful with their questions, it at points did feel as if it were rushed into getting the sale as opposed to letting us think on it, but regardless really helpful

Thanks to the team and to Pete, our primary contact. We now have 20 panels and multiple batteries and no longer have to worry about the regular power cuts we were experiencing earlier in the year. It's a big house with a high load and the new system covers it easily.

Initially someone from ThermoHome Solar knocked on our door offering solar panels. So my wife gave them my mobile number. I was called back and a guy called Tony visited for an initial survey. I'd done some online quotes before (Octopus Heatable) and the price seemed very competitive. Did feel a little pressured into making a decision so bear that in mind if you want to get multiple quotes - its a minefield out there. Even with an Electronics degree it was a bit daunting so I did some very hurried research into the make of panels, inverter and battery. As it happens our friends had the same system and they seemed quite happy. So decided to pay the initial deposit. We now have 17 panels (8 East and 9 (4 + 5) facing South), 7.5kW in total, with a FoxESS H1 inverter and two FoxESS Q battery modules totalling 5.7kWh. Installation was arranged quickly within a month and two guys installed the system in a day. However it was a very long day for them almost 11 hours. On top of that they traveled all the way from Taunton and Warminster to Bournemouth. They installed the Inverter and Batteries exactly where we wanted in our garage. We have an EV with 78kWh battery so our annual usage is 7500kWh. The system has now been running for a month and can see the benefits already. Octopus Outgoing is paying us 15p/kWh. On some sunny days we have used no gas by instead turning on our immersion heater for an hour or so. I'm therefore a bit disappointed that the sales guy dismissed my question about an excess solar diverter device. The FoxESS inverter and battery system seems to be running well. A bonus is the API allowing monitoring. So I have installed Home Assistant on a Raspberry Pi 4 and can now monitor the performance of our EV, Ohme Home Pro EV charger and the FoxESS system in one place. So far so good. All in all happy with choosing ThermoHome Solar.

Right where to start, the salesman was pleasant and offered the earth bending over backwards to meet our needs, paid our deposit and patiently awaited the day of our installation, a now show only after phoning at lunch time I was told they where still on another job this happened another two times, when they did turn up the work was carried out swiftly, there was one problem with the solar I boost that exploded twice on installation and I’m now left with live taped wires hanging out of the wall and a inverter backing board that is live ie if you touch it you get a electric shock and the EPS that we asked for to run the 13amp plug sockets to keep all our fish tanks running in the event of a power cut was never installed, Didn’t find that out until the first power cut we had that lasted 4 days So not the best £20000 investment we ever made.
No end of emails and text messages to Sean, Aaron and Lacey have resulted in any further action, although they did send me what seam's to be a second hand
I BOOST ninus all the parts, hoping I would probably fit it myself, that’s not happening as I am not a qualified sparky I wish I could show photos on this review so you could see the dangerous state they have left us in.
I’m still complaining to them, BUT THINK IM NOW BEING JUST GIVEN LIP SERVICE,
next port of call is Building control and HSE
I WOULD AVOID THIS COMPANY EVEN IF IT MEANS PAYING A BIT MORE
sorry Sean you have left me no choice but to leave a bad review it’s been 12 months and there’s been no commitment to put things wright
Dirk
If you want to put things wright then this review will be altered
Just to mention your poster is still on our front fence offering good will and advertising.
Issues still not resolved as of 28th June 25
Had one of there engineers take a look last month and was not happy with the install and shut down half the system still waiting

I really do wish that I could give this review zero stars
The personnel that came to install the system, were kind, professional and cleaned up after themselves. They showed me the app that goes along with the system, although I could have used a bit more information on this front.
Sadly, prior even to my first payment, I have had multiple electrical faults in what appears to be the battery system and I have been ignored multiple times
I am escalating this as a serious complaint right to the top of the company as no one else seems to want to know. No one has initiated contact, I have had to chase it and I have received what I believe to be false promises.
I am very sure that if the system works well it’s excellent! However if you experience faults like I have then you are someone to be dismissed. I can confirm that this will be a very bad move on their part, I take poor service seriously and I am happy to go all the way, including legal if necessary. Please God don’t let it come to this. All I need is a qualified solar Electrician, it shouldn’t be that hard right Thermohome?!?!?!

I was made aware about these guys when a salesperson knocked on the door. Although I don’t normal engage with that sort of thing, I was really interested in solar panels so I thought I would hear them out.
I had a surveyor over the next day. At the time he seemed knowledgable and helpful. However a lot of what he told me was incorrect.
I was told a cost of the finance for it, which was completely different to when I applied. I ended up getting finance through a loan myself as it was so much cheaper.
I was told I would have all the paperwork within a timeframe and I had to chase this up for a long time, despite paying instantly. I was also told that the surveyor had quit the same week I paid, when he told me he would be around at all times throughout the process. But payment was made and he was sudden gone. Strange coincidence I suppose.
I was also told that it would include anti pigeon protection as standard. I remember this vividly because it was a brag that other companies make you pay extra but they don’t. Fantastic - but it didn’t happen.
When I questioned the fact I was told this and it didn’t happen, I was told it wasn’t in the agreement. Interestingly, when you’re told it is standard, you don’t then fine read the list of every thing included. I thought I would give the benefit of the doubt and request that it be added and perhaps we could split the cost due to needing the scaffolding again (I definitely would have paid the extra £500 the first time if I was asked, so a bit frustrating!). I was told we would work something out. Then when I followed up soon after I was completely ignored. I then said I’ll happily pay for it all, I just need it. But still ignored. I phoned a lot, I emailed a lot. I heard nothing. It is quite amazing how good they are in contacting you prior to payment but the moment it’s done, they are done.
I will say the same thing I said to them… if they contact me and let me pay the £1000 (£500 for scaffolding, £500 for parts and labour), then I would happily change the review. I don’t really understand why I have been ignore for many months. Especially as I said I would cover all the costs, even though I was completely misinformed for some reason. However, I’ll leave this here and recommend they aren’t used because they are quite dishonest and are only quick to reply when there is a prospect of money. I’ll look for another company to hopefully solve it for me.
