Excellent customer service from Jodie…

Excellent customer service from Jodie Swain today who helped reset a Thermonet thermostat for a guest bathroom which has been used very little since Covid.
Very courteous and patient at taking me through updating the settings.

Disappointing functionality

Our bathroom fitters fitted thermo sphere 5245RF a few months ago and I have been battling with trying to programme it ever since (with little progress). I am sorry to say that this is the most counter intuitive programming device I have come across. The first issue is that the touch screen is not particularly sensitive and needs a firm poke with my finger several times before it responds. On screen there are many icons that are confusing and do not necessarily represent clearly their intended function. As far as scheduling settings, well life is too short to set each day individually without the function to repeat daily patterns. Disappointed with this product and would expect better for a high end control.

Good product but could be better.

I replaced a Thermotouch panel which had failed soon after moving into a new house with the same product now labelled Thermsphere and concur with other peoples' comment about the complexity of the UI.

The other problem is that even on the lowest brightness setting the panel is much too bright at night. This could easily be solved by a cover being made available as an accessory.

Thermo sphere control touch - horrendous

The thermosphere control touch single programmable is one of the worst products I’ve ever bought. The set up to control the heating is unbelievably terrible - have to set up every day individually, no way to check the overall day’s program, or the week at a glance - you have to scroll through endlessly. Don’t buy.

We have installed a ThermoSphere mainly for the App

We have installed a ThermoSphere mainly so we could control the underfloor heating from another location. The App does not work and were advised that it wouldn't work for sometime. We should not have been sold this product with an app that doesn't work. We would not have installed this produce if we had known this beforehand. We feel really let down and would like a full refund.

The heating scheduler is inadequate

The heating scheduler is inadequate for a product of this nature. 7 on-off settings are required even if not necessary, the manual instructs the user to repeat past settings for unwanted time periods. Don't purchase.

Happy Customer

I purchased all the products for the UFH that were needed by our tiler for 50M2 of floor tiling, I ordered them on the Friday & paid for them over the phone and the whole order was delivered on Saturday afternoon & when the tiler come to carry out the works he was so impressed by the whole system & the quality of the products he is going to be using this system going forward, after installation it works perfectly and is easy to control & adjust the temperature as required.
So as a result you have one very happy customer:)

Incredibly Complicated Programmer

I've had underfloor heating installed professionally which works fine. However the controller is the most complicated time consuming device I have ever come across. There are so many settings just to make a minor adjustment. Once you have mastered setting up one day you cant even copy it to days for the rest of the week. Incredibly poor in this technological world.
