More than happy with my purchase!!

This being my first saber purchase I was nervous. This company doesn’t have a ton of review but their website offered incredible looking sabers at a pretty decent price. Especially since all orders come with a hard case at no extra cost. That being said, I absolutely love the Saber Factory and will 100 percent be a repeat customer. As soon as I opened the box I was blown away at the quality of the hilts, and as soon as I turned it on I was even happier. 10 of 10 highly recommend this source for your saber. Weather it be your first or 66th.

Lightsaber broken from drop

Was just swinging it around outside and accidentally dropped it, not a terrible drop but also not a light one. Lightsaber stopped working and won’t charge so it is broken.

Excellent experience for 1st saber

My son (15) really wanted a light saber. He saved and then spent 2 months researching and using reviews, spec to make his decision. The whole process has been a brilliant learning experience for him, especially parting with so much of his own money. The Saber Factory was his first choice and we were not disappointed. The product is very well made and easy to set up. He's over the moon and has a better understanding of tech and light sabers as a result. The whole process was easy, communication was excellent and while we haven't had the need to contact since our purchase I am confident that the Saber Factory would be first rate in helping solve any issues.

High quality, high detail

I’m super super happy with my Katarn hilt. It’s a fairly obscure hilt that has had several decent replicas over the years, but this is easily the best replica on the market. The attention to detail is excellent and it’s extremely well built.

Had an issue and the came to the rescue!

Received my very expensive Obie Wan Kenobi saber. Charged it over night. Followed all instructions and the button on hilt to turn it on doesn’t work. I only got it to turn on through the app and even then only sound worked but the blade doesn’t light up. Tried all troubleshooting suggestions from website and still doesn’t work. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. The only reason you’re getting two stars is that the save itself is beautiful.

UPDATE: Customer support has been wonderful in responding to me. We have figured out what appears to be the issue. Once I receive the new parts and can confirm everything works as it is meant to, I will update my review.

UPDATE TO MY UPDATE: Customer Service has gone above and beyond in helping me solve any issues I had with my saber. The core has been replaced and my Obi-Wan Kenobi Saber is absolutely INCREDIBLE. This is when a company truly shines, on the off chance something goes wrong they make it right AND even personally followed up with me about it. If you're on the fence about The Saber Factory, don't be. This is THE shop to get an unbelievable saber.

The product is awesome great quality

The product is awesome great quality. However, it is too easy to mess up settings on the lightsaber, and the instructions manuel should tell you everything the lightsaber does but it doesn't, so you lose 1 star for that reason. And, you lose another star for the code on the other side of the box not being set to the default 000 I had to force my box open.

Just a Very Bad Experience

Time for my honest review of both the Lightsaber and the company Saber Factory. i will start with the positives. It arrived, and it had a sturdy carry case. Now the Negatives, the Hilt felt cheap, the plastic cowling on the front of the hilt was wobbly, did not fit correctly, and the power button worked 50% of the time. Gesture controls worked 50% of the time, the rest of the time, you are twisting your wrist like a madman trying to shut the thing down. The Bluetooth module, next to useless, disconnects every 20 seconds. it fared a little better when the control module was exposed, so seems like the covering smothers a lot of the signal. i can only assume a weak voltage input was used. and lastly, the Sound, even on 100% volume it was just no where near the sound you get from Theory Sabers, Saber Forge or Vaders Vault, in which i have those 3 to compare it to. and both Theory and Saber Forge came in at the same price. So, enough about the Lightsaber, its not worth the money, build quality and componants are not worth the $435+ price tag. Now, the customer support team, this is where they really fall short. there is no contact number, there is no real returns policy. I was told i had to ship it back to France at my own cost, bearing in mind i live in Singapore, and was told to insure it as they would cover any damages. they kept reinforcing that it had to be in brand new condition. or they wouldnt except it. basically putting every caveat in the way to stop me sending it back. i worked out from Singapore to ship this back to France insured, would cost me $100, so pretty much a non starter there, and they know this. i have left numerous messages now asking for them to at least ship out a replacement module, but it takes near on 12 hours to get a response. All in all, a very bad experience with this company. I strongly do recommend Theory Sabers instead. Same price and these guys are passionate about their products.

Hey David. I won't waste my breathe replying to everything you claim is wrong with me and the products. You just don't care about processes, you want things your way and that's it. I remained calm and polite all along, telling you than whenever you wish to explain your problem you just had to show it to me and I would investigate with you to see if warranty was needed. I never got to see any beginning of explanation of your issues with the saber. I can't help you if you don't want to be helped. It's crazy that so many people manage to do this, takes really just a couple messages, things get sorted and if the issue is hardware we get the replacement going. But with you, no, you just wanted to fight it on another reality plan.

I just had to look at your trustpilot history to understand what the hell was going on here. You're just always mad (dark side bro... watch out or it'll dominate your destiny) : 57 reviews posted on trustpilot, 52 are 1* angry reviews, only 5 are positive. When 91% of your shopping experiences turn out so disastrous, I'm guessing the problem is not with the shops...

Anyone who ever had customer support experience with me can say I follow through until resolution. And even with you where it's been made very uncomfortable for me. But I look the other way and still responded kindly and with all the steps to provide either a quick resolution or a warranty replacement. But when you're talking to an unreasonable wall, nothing's good enough for you.

As another company you reviewed said to you : "Your feedback is valuable, but we are dismayed by the manner in which you chose to express it. We remain at your disposal for any questions or requests for additional assistance, as our priority remains to ensure your satisfaction regarding your order."

Didn’t hit the mark, but decent

I’ve gotten sabers from other companies, and this one is definitely not the worst but far from the best. Compared to other sabers, including the Disney legacy sabers it didn’t feel nearly as good to hold. It almost felt…cheap? When the saber arrived the ignition switch was faulty and they ended up releasing a video on how to fix the defect, there is something off about having to play tech support for a brand new saber you just spent hundreds on.

Now for the pros. The blade and the effects are beautiful. It is very sturdy and responsive. The battery doesn’t live very long but it lives long enough for you to get the fun you want out of it. The hilt motions take a little getting used to but once you do it’s pretty responsive and fun.

I unfortunately cannot recommend this saber to an active collector but a casual owner would love it. For the price point I’d check out some of the known competitors as if you spend just a little more, you will get much better quality.

Thank you for your feedback. The design of the saber changes every once in a while when there's a technical improvement that can be brought to the board, core structure or the hilt. Sometimes with little quirks for which we do provide additional guidance on how to workaround. This is both the strength and weakness of those sabers : they can be quirky at times and require some minor technical intervention or care, not as much as a DIY saber kit, but a bit more than a turn-key toy lightsaber. The strength here is that what you get is a million miles ahead of those turn-key toys sabers like Disney's and Hasbro's sabers in terms of functions.

I really don't agree with the comparison provided, and dozens of review videos online will confirm that those toy sabers, for a very similar price, provide very limited electronics and functions, with debatable screen accuracy (mostly in the proportions of things), even though hilt construction may feel more refined. But that's what an industrialized toy has to deal with to be mass produced, compared to the Nexus sabers we sell that are still wired, soldered and assembled by hand in order to be able to fit all those technical abilities into the most screen accurate design format. It's also why legacy sabers run on small AAA batteries and Nexus sabers run on powerful 18650 li-ion batteries. The technology is not comparable by any means nor is the use. Nexus sabers are built for both collectors and duelists. There's compromise yes. But that's where they sit.

We proudly distribute Nexus sabers with Darkwolf and Nexus boards (mostly) at some of the best price you can ever find out there, as they are the most renowned out there. Even though most sellers will pretend that they are making unique sabers, they actually sell from the same manufacturer. So remain careful with what "competitors" sell you for "a little more", it will 90% of the time be just the same product branded differently.

Then there are artisan makers, who either focus more on hilt accuracy or more premium electronics. Those who do both will cost you 2 to 5 times the price or a Nexus saber, and very rightfully so, which is why I feel like providing more insight here to justify our position on the market. I wouldn't say we aim at "casual owners" but more at collectors who want more than just a hilt on a shelf.

A LEGO saber for a LEGO nerd….

Product is sturdy and have a nice feel. The sound effect and colour are awesome.
But packaging could be better. Product was cling wrapped but they just put 3 random sponges that do not fit the product or prevent it from moving around in the box during delivery.
Received the product in good order and thanks for the pen drive free gift.
