Discovery set ordered. All fragrances are pretty average really, with the company's individual scent tag-lines being somewhat creative to say the least - not a huge amount of accuracy when it comes to what they actually smell like. Longevity not their best point either. I must have had a different set to all of the 5 star reviewers out there....

I cannot fault Saltworks Customer Service and exceptional products. My Husband purchased the Lady Marmalade perfume 100 mls in January 2025, after I adored this scent from the discovery set.

I love the sustainability, unique scents and ethos of this company. Unfortunately with only 1/3rd left of the contents of my perfume bottle, there was an issue with my perfume bottle/ the atomiser has become damaged.

I contacted Saltworks and they went above and beyond to rectify the issue. They arranged a prepaid return label so I was able to return my perfume. On recieving my " repaired " perfume bottle, it was clear they had refilled my perfume contents to 100% full. 👏

The customer service team went above and beyond and their perfume scents are luxurious and beautiful.

Whilst I did like the perfume set I HATE the constant emails reminding me to use my voucher or whatever.
It’s so annoying. I’ve already had two this morning within 30 mins of each other.
I will be unsubscribing.

I've been buying from saltworks for the past year or so and love their perfumes so much! I buy them as gifts and also for myself as a big treat every now and again. I just got my latest order which was a big bottle for me and a travel one as a gift. I was so pleased - they sent me a travel size of my favorite as well as a gift! Thank you so much Saltworks! I always get compliments when I use their perfumes. Will repeat purchase in future.

So recently I have been seeing many adverts on Facebook for Saltworks (now blocked). The reviews looked fantastic (almost too good to be true - there is the hint) and they seemed a genuine company trying to be the best version of themselves. How wrong I was. Their tech systems are flawed, it seemed as if I couldn't initially register my account, but then I get spammed every hour with messages about things in a basket needing checkout, but when I click the link there is nothing in the basket. The response from Izzie in Customer Services at the company was thin and hollow and incredibly condescending, especially to a potential new customer who you would think they would want to encourage, but no. I also then find out the "risk free" £25 voucher with the almost £30 paid for "sample" box needs to be spent on a purchase of £95, So you need to spend more and more to so say get risk free trails of their scents which you have no idea are going last, as they claim, or even smell nice. What a scam. It seems any review less than 5* on Facebook is deleted, squewing their true feedback score, and as far as I can tell the rest could very well be fake. Plenty of others on here calling them out with similar experiences. You have been warned.

Ordered the Romantic Discovery Set because it appeared to be floral, and I love florals. Out of all of the bottles in this set, I will only be able to stand using one of the tiny vials. They are so heady, woody, musky and strong and not pleasant to me at all, and I usually love a wide range of perfumes.

I was sent an email asking what I thought so I replied, outlining these thoughts, saying that perhaps I should have picked the fresh set, and was offered £5 discount if I bought another different set. I declined as I do not want to sink any more money into this, having spent £25 on the tiniest amount that I can actually use.

I always fall for a glossy social media marketing campaign.

I ordered the discovery set - every sample is cheap and nasty smelling.
I posted my views on their facebook page which disappeared 🤷🏼‍♀️
In order to claim the ‘risk free £25.00 voucher back on your £29.00 purchase’, you need to spend £75.00.
I believe the positive reviews must be fake, I have thrown the set in the bin, I wouldn’t even use it as a toilet air freshener 🤢

I don’t understand the negative reviews. I’ve purchased 8 times, I have the travel bottles then I can pick and choose .
The fragrance lasts forever and I always get compliments. They make you smell absolutely classy and the compliments are just routine now. A wonderful company, I will not wear anything else !

I purchased the discovery set as a way to test the perfumes and then be able to redeem the voucher on what fragrance I liked the best. [Which I thought was a great concept]
Sadly not. It's a con to make you spend more as voucher does not work, won't be making any future purchases here. More transparency needed with misleading advertising.

Advertised a £29 gift set with a £25 voucher as a risk free way to try their perfumes. Only later realised you need to speed at least £75 to claim the £25 off.

I feel like this should have been clearer at the time of the original purchase.

Adding a picture just so everyone knows I'm a legit customer. I wrote a review on their site but pretty sure they'll remove it.
Got the women's sample set. Extremely disappointed in all of these, pretty sure the reviews are fake. They all smell extremely cheap, like something you'd buy from a fake perfume stall. There was one or two smells I liked but the head notes disappeared very quickly and they just left the cheap base notes on my clothes for the whole day. I smell like an old lady and need to wash all my clothes.
I'm sorry to say that I'll just be throwing these into the garbage, I don't even want to use up the samples so I don't smell bad.

Extremely disappointing. Non of the perfumes lasted more than 30 minuits and all smelt like cheap incense sticks. Contacted customer services who advised me of the thousands of happy customers and reviews???? Really ???
They clearly stated I could not have a refund if I had tried the perfumes 🤔. Like how do you know there no good if you don’t try them?
The long and shorts of it is I do not believe their positive reviews and would strongly advise people to save their money.

Ordered the romantic set as told it had the most floral scents. Out of the box I only partially liked one!
All the rest smell the same of floor polish!
Worst £29 I’ve ever spent. I’ll be sticking to my usual.

I have had many soaps and perfumes from Saltworks over the past couple of years and absolutely LOVE them. The discovery sets are wonderful. I've had three different ones and love using a different fragrance each day.
The perfumes are long lasting and I get so many compliments about how fragrant I smell.
My husband loves the soaps especially Oud Harmony and the Orangerie one.
The staff have answered my emails in a timely fashion and are lovely, helpful and friendly.
The packaging is always so beautiful and classy. All my orders have been delivered safely within a few days.
I love Saltworks.

Was given Mens' Discovery set for Christmas. Loved it, and used extensively for 6 months until it ran out. Decided to buy a 20ml bottle of an individual aftershave for £25. Lasted 6 weeks despite same use as discovery set. It cannot have been as full as they said or had a faulty seal/sprayer. Impossible to check until it ran out as bottle almost totally covered in a blue paint. Complained but immediately pushed back by customer service as not within 14 days of purchase. I've seen similar complaints on trustpilot so be very wary of the 5 star posts that swamp this company's reviews.

I tried their discovery set.. Which led to full size perfume, reed diffusers and candles. I've never had so many compliments and I really love learning about each note that makes every fragrance so unique

Ordered the discovery set and all of the perfumes smell very similar and they’re awful! Someone else has said they smell like you’ve just had a fag and sprayed perfume to disguise it and I totally agree!

I like the perfumes and certainly found that they last for most of the day. However, I have also found that they have produced a skin irritation, which is something I have never experienced from a perfume before. My skin begins to itch and burn on contact with the perfume and a rash develops.

Hi I ordered a discovery set from saltworks. Izzie was absolutely amazing. She helped me soo much and give me a 10% discount aswell as the trip samples included. She truly is a asset to saltworks. I really love the discovery sets. It's nice to try so many different scents without commiting a huge amount of money. I liked most of the fragrances I tried. I think the price point for the sets is very reasonable and I have already gifted two of them this year.
The only small complaint I have is that it is extremely difficult to read the name of the perfume on the tiny bottle. The writing is white and if (like me) you are the wrong side of 50 you may find yourself holding the bottle up to the light and trying to find a better angle to read it. Very frustrating! I don't know what the answer is, maybe have the name on the box above the bottles?
Overall a nice experience though.
