I was very pleased with the service I have received from the Soundproof Windows. They were so well-organised with the initial site visit, quotes, 2nd site visit for accurate measurement etc, gantt chart for the schedule, and pre-installation guide. I had some questions about the installation and the products, which were promptly responded by their staff and they provided more information for me to take a look before making a final decision. This is a kind of good customer service I always expect from a company and they ticked all the boxes. No doubt I will use their service again.

We've found The Soundproof Windows extremely professional and respectful throughout the years of service they've provided (we've used the company personally for our home and I've recommended them to clients, including music producers). Their sound team is thorough in their advice and their installation team delivers nothing short of a high-end finish, job after job. Importantly, they are careful in their surroundings when installing and the tidiest builders around. We keep going back to them for these reasons. I highly recommend their services.

I have been struggling with traffic noise following lockdowns and since the introduction of LTNs funneling traffic down the road outside of my flat. I obtained several quotes for secondary glazing from various companies, the reviews from this company on this site were extremely positive. I wanted the best results for the bedroom in particular due to constant interrupted sleep from motorbikes/emergency vehicles etc going past. Other reviews acknowledged the eye-watering costs from this company but I felt that it was worth it for a good night's sleep (and even one of their competitors mentioned that they can achieve very impressive results in terms of noise reduction). Fast-forwarding, I cannot believe the results 1-month later post-installation of the Ultra 51dB secondary glazing. The bedroom is now very quiet, I now have uninterrupted sleep and I am very impressed with the overall result so much so I have now gone ahead with the same order for the lounge. Potential drawbacks other than the aforementioned re cost: long lead times, one of the team also mentioned in passing that the laminated glass can crack under certain conditions eg colour of the blinds/curtain liner may impact this however this is not mentioned in the window maintenance guide sent following installation. Further clarity maybe helpful. Aside from the product itself, the team were very professional and helpful at every step.

This is a phenomenal company installing extremely high quality windows. I could not recommend more highly. We went for the imitation sash (which I highly recommend over the sash windows in terms of soundproofing). If you are worried (like me) whether installing imitation sash will decrease the resale value or that you won't be able to find blinds, don't be. The windows look exactly like sash (if it wasn't for the handle, which is very sleek and minimal anyway, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference) and the soundproofing is excellent. The company also paired with an excellent blinds manufacturer saving you a big hassle. The installers were extremely respectful and professional throughout the entire time and left my house in an impeccable state. It didn't look like I had any work done in the house. They repair extensively around the windows. I recommended the company to all my neighbours.

The clue is in the name, this company knows about sound proofing. It is absolutely amazing what they can achieve. I live in Caledonian road and I literally cannot hear the traffic, watch their videos because it is real. Excellent service, professional advice, great communication, everything done on time. Big thank you to the team for making my studio peaceful to live in!

SoundProof Windows installed thirteen secondary windows throughout our cottage. The quality of the windows themselves is superb - very high levels of craftsmanship. We're situated on the High Street and the reduction in street noise from constantly passing vehicles is dramatic - barely a whisper as vehicles pass by now. So much more peaceful - it's hugely improved our quality of life in the house. Thermal performance is also much improved - warmer, retains heat so much better, fewer hours of heating needed. The SoundProof Windows team were excellent at all stages of the project, it was really a pleasure having them on the job - regular and clear communications, precise quotations, measured-up inside the house twice, and the fitting and installation work itself was excellent and professional. Unreservedly recommend SoundProof Windows if you're looking for secondary glazing for the house.

We used Soundproof Windows on 2 occasions. The first time was when we replaced the old windows on our period house. We chose imitation sash windows which not only look incredible but also have the highest aucustic and thermal performance in the market. The windows are of a very high quality timber and were fitted with beautiful wooden architraves. We have had so many compliments from people visiting our home as well as random people passing by and asking where are our windows from. We now have no draught coming from the windows and can enjoy the home peace without hearing the noise of the highway nearby. The second time we used this company was when we did a loft conversion. We ordered a panoramic aluminium window and a bathroom window. The customer service and fitting team have been fantastic in both occasions scheduling the instalation to our convenience. We highly recommend this company and will use it again to order shutters for our imitation sash windows and a front door.

I would highly recommend Soundproof windows. Our bedroom is approx 7m from a fairly busy road and it was disturbing my sleep. We got the windows installed and they make a significant difference. It’s not completely silent but it is exactly as described beforehand.

They also look good and are clearly of high quality.

The company was excellent and responsive to deal with and ended up installing three weeks earlier than planned. The windows are expensive, but an investment. I would gladly use this company again.

5 star! Highly recommend. We had custom acoustic windows installed in all bedrooms and we are very happy with them. Great service all around. Including support and responsiveness pre installation and also during installation with a very professional and fast team working on site. Top notch quality windows, hugely improved noise in our house.

A really professional job from start to finish. In fact Sebastian and the team exceeded our expectations. The product is superb, the order and management process was top notch and the installers were highly skilled and nothing was too much trouble. I don’t often give 5 star reviews but this lot deserve it !

We had secondary windows fitted and can now hear virtually nothing on the busy road outside the house. The windows also look good. The surveyors and fitters were friendly and polite and have done a great job

I waited for 5 months to write a review until I had experienced the windows in and working...

Wow, the triple glazed mock Sasha windows are truly amazing! I live on a relatively busy road and was constantly blighted by road / traffic noise (with double glazed acoustic uPVC sliding sash). The windows made an instant difference, now road / traffic noise is like a faint hum on sound metres versus the 40db I was getting before installation. But that's not the only benefit, the u-value of the windows is around 0.5/0.6 u - our rooms retain heat for much longer and we don't need the heating on for very long to heat the house.

Knowledgeable, helpful and responsive throughout, and the windows installed are very effective.

We had secondary glazing installed to reduce road noise. The product works very well and installation was professional. One issue was the original black out blinds that were recommended were not adequate. The team changed these and did additional work to install appropriate blackout blinds at no extra charge. Would highly recommend.
