Poor quality item and need a refund!

I purchased a bag for my daughter but what arrived is nothing like the website photo and description! The bag came folded in half in a small package and the material is shocking!

I contact the company to be told I can have a 15% refund! I said definitely not as I wish to return the item for a full refund like shown on the website. I was then offered a 20% refund and asked to donate the bag to a shelter!

I’m in shock that a company has even offered that, when I am entitled to a full refund! Because the bag is nothing like shown on the website I wish a full refund and for postage fees to be covered!!

Poor quality, No return option

I ordered shoes for a wedding. They didn’t come on time for the event (3 weeks). I considered keeping them but quality is very poor. There is no return option even the T&Cs say there is. Stay away if you don’t want to waste your money

Premium Orthopaedic Leather Sandals

As a gift to my nephew I ordered 2 pairs of orthopaedic leather sandals on 7 July 2025, total cost £65.90.

My nephew received them on 19 July 2025. He was most disappointed, (his words “Gutted) when he opened the package, he said his heart dropped, he said they were very plasticky looking with rubber soles and the strap was so short and would’nt meet the buckle to secure them.

I emailed the company immediately upon hearing this and ask for a full refund. They emailed me back today offering me a 15% refund and that I could keep the sandals, considering these sandals do not fit the purpose they were intended for why would I want to keep them, I am going to be £55 out of pocket and in possession of 2 pairs of sandals that’s absolutely useless.

I have requested an accurate address so that I can post these sandals back to Thestreetwearhub in order that I may get my full refund, but I’m not holding my breath….. Buyer be aware when purchasing anything from this company whether it’s the one based in Asia or The Netherlands!!!!!

What I would like to know is, where is the Premium Leather in this product.

My people please keep in mind when purchasing from this company the old Adage “All that glitters isn’t gold” same can be said with these Premium Leather Sandals……

Didn't get them so contacted them . The phone number is Netherlands and dead number . They replied saying bear with is . Today I got totally different sandals that are cheap and nasty

Do not use this company
I tried to return and they kept offering me money off if I kept them. I did not . They would not offer return
Eventually they sent address in China. I have to pay the fee .

I ordered a specific blouse

I ordered a specific blouse, but the item I received is completely different in pattern and does not match what was shown on your website. This is clearly an error on your part.

I was advised to return the item to Asia at my own expense or accept a 15% discount to keep it. However, your website clearly states that shipping costs are non-refundable, except in cases where the return is due to a defect or error on our part. Since this is indeed your error, I believe I am entitled to a full refund, including return shipping costs.

Check the details regarding refunds before ordering anything. The telephone numbers are non-existent on their website

Before ordering anything from this company I suggest you try ringing the numbers advertised on their website, they are non-existent.
If you check their return policy, it talks the talk but if you try to process one there is no way of doing this.
I’m stuck with a pair of shorts that don’t fit and have no way of obtaining a refund. I wouldn’t touch them with a barge pole. Steer clear at all costsThey are frauds

I have to say I was slightly concerned…

I have to say I was slightly concerned ordering from this company due to the poor reviews. I took a chance & I’m glad I did. The item did take 3 weeks to arrive but I was able to track the order online. The item is really great & in impressed with the quality for the price. Can’t really say anything bad. Would order again allowing longer for delivery

My order took an eternity to get to me…

My order took an eternity to get to me and when it arrived it was not what I ordered. I placed an order for a lace up white collarless linen shirt and what I got was a buttoned collared shirt. I sent two emails to advise but received no response.
I'm very disappointed and would not recommend this company.

Dreadful AVOID at all costs

The clothes are of poor quality. Advertised as linen but clearly synthetic. Threads and stitching terrible. Drawstring scorched in a poor attempt to stop fraying.

Sent multiple emails over multiple days in attempt to have company rectify issue but no contact from them whatsoever.

Company also keep deleting my reviews from the items on their website. Which I will continue to replace.

A company with no regard for consumer. Avoid at all cost

When tracking the item, it still preparing to be shipped (apparently!)
I have sent an query to their contact email.
But to no response.
If I don't receive my item then I will NEVER EVER buy items that are shipped from abroad EVER, EVER AGAIN.

Updated after company’s reply – let’s talk about what’s really going on here

After reading The Streetwear Hub’s reply, I feel the need to respond — because their carefully worded “explanation” leaves out the reality of my experience and the way they operate.

Here’s the truth: this is a dropshipping business. They advertise items on what looks like a UK store, slap an inflated “brand” name in the listing, and quietly ship them from overseas. The products? Dirt-cheap, poorly made, and sold at an eye-watering markup for maximum profit.

Now, let’s go through their reply, because it deserves a fact-check:

1. “Transparent from the start”
No. At no point during checkout was it made clear my order would be shipped from China. Burying that in a shipping policy nobody sees until after purchase is not “transparent” — it’s a bait-and-switch.

2. “Exactly the model listed”
If by “model” you mean a paper-thin, 100% polyester hoodie that feels like it cost £5 to make, then sure. But don’t try to pass this off as anything remotely close to authentic Blakely quality. Saying “we don’t deal in counterfeit products” doesn’t magically make this hoodie legitimate.

3. “Full refund upon return”
Translation: “Pay us more to fix our mistake.” They insisted I post the item back to China at my own expense. This is not standard for a UK-based site unless you’re… you guessed it… dropshipping.

4. “50% goodwill refund”
Offering half my money back if I kept the hoodie is basically admitting it’s not worth the full price. And guess what? It wasn’t worth anywhere near the price charged.

5. “30+ emails”
Yes, we exchanged 30+ emails — because they dragged the process out, repeated the same copy-paste policies, and never once took responsibility. And here’s the part they didn’t mention: they only approved my refund after I threatened to report them to the relevant authorities. Thirty emails of going nowhere… and suddenly, the moment I made that threat, the money was magically back in my account.

6. “We work hard to serve customers in the UK”
You operate a website that appears to be UK-based, but you’re shipping cheap products directly from China with massive markups. That’s not “serving customers” — that’s a profit machine banking on people not knowing any better.

My experience in one sentence: I paid for what was advertised as a quality branded hoodie, and got a cheaply made, low-value knock-off with returns deliberately made expensive and inconvenient.

They call my review “unfair.” I call their business model misleading, profit-driven, and set up to make returns so costly that customers give up. And if you do stand your ground? They’ll only act when you threaten to escalate.

My advice: If you value authentic products, fair prices, and honest returns, shop elsewhere. This company is a masterclass in how dropshipping companies squeeze maximum profit out of minimum-quality goods.
