I would give THIS company, Zero stars if that was possible!!!!
They are a scam!!!
Telling me and promising me that they were working on getting my phone unlocked, but they weren't doing a thing other than taking My Money and making me wait, to Only ask for More Money!!
It's a scam!! They never reached out on their own, I had to continue to email them as they do not have or provide a customer service phone. What kind of Legitimate business doesn't have a working phone!!!
RED FLAG!!!! A phone company with no working phone. Guess I should have saw the signs.

Then to have the Audacity to ask for more money to because apparently their own 'techs' couldn't figure it out.....an now pay 3 Times MORE $$$ than what I paid the first time. But somehow again, promising results this time.
Umm, maybe put your words where I put my money, and solve the problem!!

But NOPE, just an email... requesting more $$$.
That's what there customer service is.
Expecting them to do the job I originally paid for, was not enough.
They wanted to see if they could extort even more money from me!

Good morning Gabriel, thank you for your feedback. We take every customer concern seriously and want to clarify a few points about how our service works.

First, no one at The Unlocking Company ever asks for additional payment unless a separate premium unlock method becomes available through the carrier or database providers. These optional services are clearly explained before purchase and are never required for us to continue working on the original order. Many customers choose to continue waiting for the standard service at no additional cost.

Regarding communication as this is the first response we have received in regards to your order since November 10th (which we sent that email and never heard back), we provide support through email and live chat, WhatsApp, and text; which allows our technicians to keep written records of IMEI details, device status, and instructions. This is common in technical services where troubleshooting steps and carrier responses must be documented. While we do not operate a call center,we do have a 800 number which you can leave a voicemail (all numbers for communication is on website), Our support team responds to messages as well as voicemails and provides updates throughout the process.

The 1–72 hour time frame shown at checkout is an average estimate, not a guaranteed completion window. Some devices take longer due to carrier restrictions, database availability, or internal audits. This information is explained on our product pages, FAQs, Terms & Conditions, and refund policy so customers can make an informed decision before ordering.

If the unlock ultimately cannot be completed after all available options have been exhausted, we provide a full refund as outlined on the order receipt and our website policies.

We understand that waiting can be frustrating, and our team works with thousands of unlock requests each month. Our goal is always to complete the unlock whenever possible while keeping customers informed along the way.

This website is a scam don’t fall for it.. They’ll keep sending trash messages to keep your hope alive but they’ll never unlock your phone and also not give you a refund

If an unlock ultimately cannot be completed once all available methods have been exhausted, we do issue refunds according to the policy agreed to at checkout which can also be referenced on your receipt. We never intend to mislead customers or keep anyone waiting unnecessarily.

Our team works to unlock devices using legitimate carrier and manufacturer channels, and while many unlocks complete quickly, some devices take longer due to carrier restrictions or eligibility requirements that are outside of any third party’s control. These possibilities, along with the refund terms, are explained on our product pages, FAQs, receipt, and Terms & Conditions so customers can make an informed decision before ordering.

Amazing work. Reasonable price. Very recommended.

Brought my phone in the US, I did not realized I had my phone locked to the US T-Mobile service, when I moved to my homeland Indonesia, the phone rejected all the local SIM even tho I have paid for the tax etc.
Contacted this guys by email, they always reply ASAP and give solution for all my problems. I had my phone unlocked just 30 minutes after I paid the price. Amazing.

Buat semua temen temen WNI, saya saranin kalo mau unlock ip disini aja, harga bersaing tapi service oke banget tapi pastiin dulu ip kalian bukan blacklist atau barang curian oke. Jujur puas banget disini.

Hello Jaspal, the phone came back as reported lost/stolen meaning you are in possession of stolen property.

When we processed your IMEI through the carrier system, it came back as Lost/Stolen (blacklisted). Devices with this status cannot be unlocked by any legitimate service provider, as they are restricted at the carrier and GSMA database level.

We do not control or assign blacklist status, that designation comes directly from the carrier on behalf of the rightful owner of the phone. If you believe this status is incorrect, you would need to contact the original carrier and be the account holder to resolve it.

We understand this is frustrating, but we cannot unlock devices that are reported lost or stolen under carrier policy. If eligibility conditions are met in the future and the blacklist is removed, we would be happy to reassess.

We always aim to provide clear information based on official carrier and manufacturer responses. If you would like to discuss further our refund policy as well as what you deem as incorrect information on our website please contact sales@theunlockingcompany.com

They are all amazing!

The entire process took several months. My phone was a pain - but these folks stuck through it!! They kept on it until they finally got it unlocked. They were helpful, pleasant and all around amazing people!
I am pleased with the entire experience and would recommend them to anyone in need of having their phone unlocked!!

Honest advice given

After being scammed by another company I hesitantly contacted The Unlocking Company for advice via email, and although they couldn't help with my situation, they gave me honest advice and didn't try to sell me something they knew wouldn't work. I appreciate their honesty and time, and if I'm in need of a phone unlocked in the future I will definitely contact them.

None of my devices were ever unlocked. I submitted the first device and waited the 72 hours as advertised. Initially they said it would take a little extra time, so i continued to wait. After about a week, i asked for an update and was told they couldn't unlock it. So i submitted a 2nd device. Same thing, after a week or so, no unlock. So i submitted a 3rd device and again, no unlock code.

Then i received the following message that the time frame is actually 20 business days (1 month) instead of 72 hours:

"While the average turnaround is about 72 hours, please allow an additional 5–20 business days as we work through additional solutions. During this time, we often put in extra effort and even cover some additional costs ourselves to push these through. That’s why we emphasize: you will hear from us the very minute your unlock is ready."

Ultimately they stopped responding the way the were responding initially. I'm not sure if this is a legitimate company or not, but they couldn't unlock any of the three devices i submitted to them.

Response Update: initially you were responding very quickly to my messages, but that only lasted a couple weeks. Eventually, the responses were delayed and very short.

I never received the unlock information for any of the devices and find it very strange that this information is now being provided to me in this public forum.

I submitted the initial request at the beginning of December 2025. After 4 or 5 weeks, i still hadn't received any unlock codes for the devices submitted and i noted that the responses i was receiving were delayed and very short.

We’re sorry to read this and would like to clarify a few important points.

First, we did not stop responding. In fact, for the IMEI you requested to exchange on the order, we successfully provided an unlock on January 3rd, with the network code closing out the order. We also sent a follow-up email to confirm that the unlock worked and to see if you needed any further assistance. Since we did not receive a reply, we assumed everything was resolved. Below is that unlock

IMEI: 0160XXXXX074356
Network Code: 72192216

Regarding the other two devices, they encountered carrier-side restrictions that prevented immediate completion. Since the exchanged IMEI was completed and order closed out we stopped working on the other devices but we are happy to continue working on the remaining devices and can invoice upon successful completion if you would like to proceed.

We remain fully willing to resolve this directly. Please contact us at sales@theunlockingcompany.com so we can review everything with you and ensure this is handled properly. Unfortunately public forum seems to be the only way to respond as we have sent an email today with no response.
