Not a scam. International shipping is slow.

I ordered my clock 12/23/16 and received it 01/30/17. The initial email I received stated shipping takes an average of 30 days.
Their website states that the clocks require 5-7 days of manufacturing time. I did contact customer service when the product had not arrived on 01/23/17. They assured me it was in transit and were very prompt and professional in their response.
The clock is awesome and was worth the wait.

Ripped off, bogus tracking number.

Ordered Beatles clock 15th of December. Still hasn't come and it is now January 26. When I check the tracking number, the last detail listed is from January 15, 2017, the date it says it departed the Ukraine.

They are not a scam!

As in previous reviews, I ordered a Prince clock from the Variety shop on Facebook, got a generic email reply with no order number or tracking number, I emailed back and forth, (of which it takes a while to get a response, but they will reply), saying they will send me the info requested. I finally got an order number and tracking number. When checked, the tracking number did not work. After several more emails, finally communicated with someone that assured me that they were not a scam and that my item was on the way. A week or so later after more emails, the tracking number showed up as "in Transit". I needed the item for my wife's birthday which is tomorrow, 1/24. I was very concerned hat I would not get it. I called my credit card company and they tried to reach out to the Variety shop to no avail. I almost gave up hope, then low and behold, I received the clock today! Right before my wife's birthday. It is all that they advertised and more. Moral of this story is to be patient and keep emailing them. Their communication style leaves a lot to be desired, but they really do deliver the items. It does take 4-5 weeks though as it came from the Ukraine.

Thought I was scammed

Back in Dec 2016 I placed an order for a beatles clock. I received an email with a tracking number that never pulled any results. Thats when I went back to the web site & realized it looked like a scam setup. I emailed the guy who owns the company about a month after I placed the order. He responded that he couldn't find an order with my order #, or account details. I was totally bummed, and sad to be out $60 during the holiday season. Well, its January 20th 2017 and my clock came in the mail today. It is beautiful, and great quality. It is what they advertised. It was shipped in strange packaging and stamped from Ukraine. I am aware international shipping can take a month. I believe whoever owns this company/is employed is not very good with our language therefore the customer service is horrible. It was not a scam though. Felt like I should share that!

BOGUS WEBSITE

BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE!
Back in November 2016, I ordered 3 Vinyl Clocks from Gotta Have This Now. I received emails that order was placed and would take 30 days for delivery. There was no contact information or order #. I immediately grew suspicious. I dug into the website and to contact them, you need to supply ALL of your info (email, phone, order #). Their FAQ page gives info on a T-shirt company with a different name! I ordered vinyl clock, there are NO t-shirts on the website! The privacy policy page consists of paragraphs of gibberish in Latin which actually is used when building Web pages. I contacted my credit card company and filed a dispute while the changes were still pending. They went through the next day because the credit card company can't remove them until after they attempt to contact them. They were unable to do so, so I was refunded the money within days but ultimately the scammed got the money which in the long run will cost ALL consumers because how else do credit card companies make their money without raising interest rates to offset the fraudulent costs. The funny thing is a couple of weeks later, I received an email from the Variety Shop aka gottahavethisnow.com with bogus UPS tracking #s. I never received the clocks and it's mid-January 2017. I went onto the website which still exists and now it's called the Clock Store. This site needs to be taken down and scammers brought to justice!

If I could rate this in the negativ …

If I could rate this in the negatives it would be in the thousands. I ordered 2 vinyl clocks from them September 6, 2016 and all they are doing is screwing with me. They refuse to give me a refund. They provided me with a fake tracking number yesterday. And just this morning (Dec.30th 2016) they tell me that there's no such order even though I have all the emails and the transaction shows on my credit card. I filed a dispute with my credit card company and reported them to the Internet crime complaint center. They stole $124.85 USD from me. I'm absolutely sick to my stomach. I don't make much as is and these were supposed to be christmas presents for loved ones and they just robbed me.

Horrible business or thieving scum.

Ordered a clock on 10/21. Christmas Eve and it's still not here. No emails from them unless I reach out first, then they just ask for time to follow up on it which they never do. All they're trying to do is push it past 120 days so it can't be disputed with the credit card company. They're either the worst run business on the planet or, more likely, thieving scum.

Turns out, in my case, it's just a terribly run business. 10 weeks after ordering my clock it arrived today. Hardly a satisfied customer, but it's nice to know this wasn't a total scam in my case. Hope others finally get their merchandise as well.

The worst! Don't waste your money!

It's a scam! I really have nothing more to add than what everyone else has said. I have begun to file a claim with my credit card company. Hopefully I will be able to get a refund, but I highly doubt it will be from "the variety shop" or "Beyond basicks" or "gotta have this now". Which are all names I have seen from this "company" throughout this process.

Entire ripoff--DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY

100% untrustworthy snaky business. I run a business that also does e-commerce. This is the absolute worst business I have every interacted with online. No merchandise delivered; no delivery confirmations received; no shipping confirmations received (although they repeatedly tell me it's being emailed to me); refusal to refund money for what was never received (and most likely never shipped). DO NOT be sucked into this company and make the mistake of giving them your money. You will regret it.

Scam

No goods received. No refund given.

Customer service do not answer any direct questions and will not commit to a time for delivery, although they suggest it will probably be months before I receive my item. This was not made clear at point of sale. They have refused to cancel my order or refund me, so I had so raise a PayPal dispute. As time of writing, I have no goods, and am $69.90 down.

UPDATE: I raised a PayPal dispute. PayPal ruled in my favour, and I got a full refund. I am sure that if I hadn't gone through PayPal, I would still have no goods or refund.

AVOID.

Scam site

Scam site - they take your money and then never send products. WARNING they will fob you off for 120days, after that time you cannot make a claim to your bank for fraudulent payments.
If you have been caught out contact your bank and ask for a refund due to scam activity. If it is under 120 days they will recall.recall . the payment.

Super Fishy

I ordered a clock for a friend's birthday present and saw that only a few cnumber were still in stock so I hurried up and ordered stuff without doing research first. I never got a confirmation email and it wasn't in my spam box. Their Contact Us, Privacy Policy, and Terms of Service all lead to "Page Does Not Exist". I paid attention to their answers in their FAQs page and it says "...thanks for ordering from Beyond Basicks". Oh I'm sorry, I thought this was the VarietyShop? They already took the payment and I haven't heard from them. What a waste, wish I had done research before falling into a scam.

Your order is being processed...

I ordered a clock from this site back on the 28th of July.. As I type this, it is coming to 11PM on the 24th of August.
I had a couple of emails from the website after placing the order, offering me further discounts on future purchases, which I found I was lucky enough to able to reply to, since the "Contact Us", "Terms of Service" and "Privacy Policy" links all lead to a "page not found."
When asked "where is my order?" I got the stock standard response of "Our items are made to order... please allow time for your order to be processed. We will email you with tracking information once the item dispatches."
Currently, the website says they have 13 in stock..

No Contact Details

I've recently ordered a clock for someone's birthday present on this website as they desperately wanted it. I didn't do thorough checks before getting the order in as the stock was going down quick. It was also advertised on Pinterest and other websites so I didn't think it would be a scam. I placed the order on 3rd August 2016. It is now 17th August and I've not received a dispatch notification despite the website claiming to still have stock. I have tried emailing the company through the tracking page they gave me to view my order. I've not had a response yet but I got suspicious and worried so looked for other contact details. I clicked on the contact us page and an error came up. Same with the terms and conditions page and the privacy policy page. I am now really concerned that I am going to be out of pocket as the item was less than £100.00 and not guaranteed by my credit card.

AVOID!

I purchased some hair striaghteners as a gift for my sisters birthday a few weeks ago. The item was supposedly shipped a day or so later.

The product is yet to arrive and I have had no reply from my emails to the company. I have tried calling a couple of times but their phone line now seems to be down.

I hope that I am wrong but I can only imagine that this company is just a scam and far from legitimate.

I guess I now have the joy of trying to get my money back and reporting them to the police? If anyone can shed any light on this company that would be great!

The Vanishingstore Company

Too late I saw all the reviews on TrustPilot, otherwise I would never Have bought from this company. Ordered a Henry vacuum cleaner which hasn't turned up. No means of contacting the company , they just take your money and disappear. Now I have the hassle to get my money back in 30 days through the credit card company. And I can't clean the house until I can buy a vacuum cleaner somewhere else! Aarrgghh!!
