Lovely fresh produce, locally sourced and seasonal variety. Also the selection of fresh herbs is excellent and they look so much more inviting than those you buy in the supermarket. Really like that you guys have moved to get rid of single use plastics. Great company! Great products!

We love The Very Green Grocer and not only because he is very green, although he is, but also because the fruit, veg, yoghurt, eggs and herbs we get are the best ever. So fresh and so tasty. If you’re fed up with the sour fruit and less than super fresh veg of your supermarket, get these guys to deliver to your door. You won’t regret it. Oh and the yoghurt from Tim’s Farm... well I’ll let you figure that one out for yourself. Suffice to say...OMG!!

As always easy to order, delivery on time, great quality fruit and veg, and excellent value for money. I like the fact the website is simple, easy to use and not too many options on there.

I have recently moved to Plumstead and having previously used box schemes decided to try the locally well reviewed Very Green Grocer. I was not disappointed. A great selection of fruit and veg delivered free and not one piece of single use plastic. Bravo. I will definitely be using in the future.

Another fantastic delivery from the Very Green Grocer. I don’t know where you get your cauliflower from but it tastes 100 times better than anything supermarket bought. Very flavoursome.

We found The Very Green Grocer a few months back and have been getting deliveries ever since. Great fruit and veg, always really fresh. Tastes so much better and lasts much longer than supermarket stuff. And delivered straight to your door by a friendly team. Loving the service!

This was my first order but have to report that I found produce to be fresh and delivered promptly without wasteful packaging. I will be back for more and the lucky dip option is very tempting.

The choice of produce available is extremely varied, and the quality is excellent. I have a limited budget and these boxes are superb value for money. I’m always delighted with what I receive.

Only recently discovered and only on my third order but WOW, how beautiful the fruit, veg and herbs are.

I truly love the freedom of being able to select a delivery day - the drop off service is always friendly, quick and safely done and the quality of the products are truly exceptional compared to what you would buy in a supermarket.

The real bonus for me is theres very little packaging (cardboard boxes and paper bags) making it very easy to recycle and we love that there’s no plastic use (other than rubber bands on your herbs!)

Plus the price point for everything is truly remarkable. We spend less on freshly delivered fruit and veg, then we would in the shops. Truly been such a game changer and such a delight to find and purchase from.

I’m originally from Sussex so to find such delicious produce at such great and affordable prices, is seriously such a treat! I highly recommend switching over to ordering your fruit and veggies online, supporting smaller businesses is so important right now plus the quality and service is beyond anything else.
